Do wewe think abortion is wrong???

I believe very strongly that abortion is wrong. Taking a human life, no matter how small it is, is wrong. If the parents aren't able to support a baby au if it was an "accident" and they don't want it, they should give it up for adoption, not kill it! Pregnancy is not a disease...it's a GIFT, and it should be treated as such.

And if it's a case where the girl was raped au if she's young and scared and doesn't want to tell anyone, there are thousands of Crisis Pregnancy Centers all over the country where she can find baby supplies, counseling and kind people who can help her through her pregnancy (and find a good place to give up the baby for adoption, if she can't take care of it). There's no need to fix a mistake with a bigger mistake au put any zaidi guilt on her shoulders.

I think the only instance where abortion is justified is if the pregnancy could kill the mother au endanger her health. It's better to save one life than to lose two.

I was an unborn baby once. I'm glad my mom "chose" to let me live.

I think it should be your own choice. I would never do it but I don't think it should be illegal. Its your own choice on what wewe want to do. No one should be able to tell wewe what to do with your body.

Today My Mummy Killed Me
October 5 Today my life began. My parents do not know it yet. I am as small as the seed of an apple, but it is I already. And I am to be a girl. I shall have blonde hair and azure eyes. Just about everything is settled though. Even the fact that I shall upendo flowers.

October 19 I have grown a little, but I am still too small to do anything kwa myself. My mother does just about everything for me. And what is odd - she still doesn't know that she is carrying me under her heart, and that she is helping me already, that she is even feeding me with her own blood. She is so good.

November 12 Tiny fingers are beginning to form on my hands. Funny how small they are. I shall be able to stroke my mummy's hair with them. And I shall take her hair to my mouth and she will probably say, 'oh, nasty!'.

November 20 It wasn't until today that doctor told mum that I am living here under her heart. Oh, how happy she must be! Are wewe happy, mummy?

November 25 My mummy and daddy are probably thinking about a name for me. But they don't even know that I am a little girl. They are probably saying Andy. But I want to be called Cathy. I am getting so big already.

December 10 My hair is growing. It is smooth and bright and shiny. I wonder what kind of hair mummy has?

December 13 I am just about able to see. It is dark around me. When mummy brings me into the world, it will be full of sunshine and flowers. I have never seen a flower, wewe know. But what I want zaidi than anything to see is my mum. How do wewe look mum? I upendo wewe so much.

Abortion isn't wrong, in my opinion. It's a progress of science that enables us to A: Help control the population. B: Help the already overpopulated Adoption system. And C: Help the economy.

Now, the main arguements against it are:

It's murder: I'll ask this. Is it better to not bring a child into a world when the parents aren't ready to have a child, au to try and raise it when they're not fully prepared, thus not giving it the best chance of a loving family in life, increasing its chances of becoming a gang member au something. If the father leaves when finding out the woman is pregnant, why can't she get an abortion knowing that this isn't how she wants to raise a child.

It's just an innocent baby that has no say: It's a collection of cells that is incapable of living without the mother's support, thus, that collection of cells belongs to her and it's her choice to do with it what she feels is best.

Put it up for adoption: In an already broken adoption system where thousands of children go unadopted and grow up unloved, au end up bouncing around from nyumbani to home, transforming them into an unloved human being who knows nothing but hate and unwantedness. Those who are put up for adoption SOMETIMES get lucky and find a loving home.

Become a surrogate for another family and give them the baby: Again, same thing as adoption. wewe have to be lucky to find a family that wewe think will upendo that child if wewe know wewe can't raise it properly.

If wewe didn't want to get pregnant, don't have sex: Because teaching kids abstinence has worked out so well over the centuries. We are animals, with hormones just like other creatures, and when we discover them, we give in to our natural urge to mate (Hence why sex is pleasurable). Some people are zaidi strong willed than others, some just want to enjoy all of life's pleasures. Yes, it is irresponsible of those teens au whoever to use unprotected sex, but even trying to be responsible about it, mistakes and accidents do happen, even with birth control.

It would become a form of birth control for slutty girls: Apparently some people haven't encountered a woman who's chosen to get an abortion. It's one of the toughest decisions of their lives, and not just a back up plan in case she gets knocked up.

It's against my religion/I believe it's wrong: That I have no arguement against because, well, it's your opinion, but abortion shouldn't be illegal because of it.

I think it's wrong. wewe are killing the embryo of a little baby that someone else could love.

I belive its wrong, Because...

1)If they didnt want a child they shouldnt be having sex.

I believe that abortion, in numerous cases, is the wrong choice. To me, you're taking the life of someone who had just as much rights to live in this world as wewe and I. Does it really matter if the "embryo" is "too small", "doesn't have a brain", "doesn't have thought" etc. It's a human being! The life of a baby who is to be aborted is no different then the life of a baby that someone wants to keep.

Now, if the mother was in serious danger (and I mean SERIOUS danger) due to her pregnancy, au if the child had severe deformities that completely prevented him/her from surviving outside the womb.....as much as abortion would be a sad choice, it would have to be acceptable for me.

But in cases outside that, I am completely against abortion.

I am not for abortion. I think it's horrible, but I don't think it should be illegal. It's not the government's decision what a mother should do with her unborn child. Ok, I believe that if wewe have sex, then wewe should do it only when wewe know your in the position to have and take care of a child.

I think abortion is very wrong. It's murder and there are so many other options out there for the parents. They can give it to their family, give it up for adoption au try and make the best of the situation. As a baby born out of wedlock to a mother who was still in High School and a father who was in the military, I think God every siku that my parents tried for me.

A woman could have been raped and didn't want the reminder (the baby) to haunt her everyday.

The answer to this question, for me, depends on the situation.

If a girl was not being responsible, kwa using protection, I don't think she should get an abortion. It's her fault, she should of known the consequences. If she doesn't want the baby after she has it, then she should put it up for adoption.

However, if it was consequence of rape au incest, I think abortion should be a choice. It's her body, she is the one going through it. She didn't ask for this to happen to her, she should be able to get an abortion. Especially in the case of incest, the baby will most likely have health problems.

Overall, I'm pro-choice. Being pro-choice does NOT mean pro-abortion. I myself would never even consider abortion, but those in tough time au situations should have the choice.
