Well, Diluka wanted another one, and here it is. Yeah, I don’t follow the order of the sinema this time around; I’ll jump a little bit between the earlier and the later ones. And with “The Little Mermaid” I think it’s the best to work through the elements of the story point to point to show, where Disney moves away from the chanzo text and where it (surprisingly) doesn’t. But before we come to that, I want to point out something: The chanzo text is in this case much different compared to the ones of the Grimm fairy tales. Those were a collection of preexisting oral lore. While the Grimm brothers were not above changing the stories a little bit, sometimes to make them a little bit zaidi fluent to tell, but often to censor some unsavory aspects of it, they normally didn’t embellish them. Because of that, those characters tended to be archetypes. “The little Mermaid” is what we call a “Kunstmärchen”, a fairy tale with was mainly created kwa a writer (though it is based on the story of Undine). Because of that, the chanzo text is much detailed than the stories of the Grimm brothers, which is the main reason I decided to do a zaidi in-depth analysis this time around.

 THE CONTRACT
THE CONTRACT

In the original Fairy Tale, the Little Mermaid gives her voice for a pair of legs, knowing that each step she takes will feel like she is walking over knifes. There is no time for her, her future is linked to the decision of the prince. If he marries her, she will live and die like humans do. If he chooses someone else, she will dissolve in sea foam immediately, instead after 300 years like the other mermaids. In the Disney Version, Ariel has three days to get a true upendo kiss from Eric, au she will become the property of Ursula, no death involved (at least not directly). While the transformation looks painful, she doesn’t have any pain walking.

The Little Mermaid
THE LITTLE MERMAID

As strange as it sounds, Ariel’s character is actually very close to the one of the Little Mermaid. The interest in the human world is part of the original fairy tale. And like Ariel, the Little Mermaid has a stone statue she is fascinated with. The difference is that the statue is not of the prince, but of a bila mpangilio human. Artwork of the little mermaid tend to emphasis the melancholic aspect of the fairy tale, but in the story, she is actually pretty wild, eager to explore the world and to take risks – very similar to the way Ariel spends her siku with Eric.

 THE PRINCE
THE PRINCE

Unlike Eric, the real prince never truly sees the Little Mermaid, despite the fact that he spends so much time with her. He frequently asks her to dance for him, never noticing that every step causes her pain. He also isn’t in upendo with her voice (though he has heard it before), but with the girl who was leaning over him when he woke up at the beach, which wasn’t the Little Mermaid, but the foreign princess who he meets again shortly before his intended marriage to the Little Mermaid. And yes, having found his true upendo he marries her. The Little Mermaid, who has aliyopewa everything to him, immediately forgotten.

 THE VILLAIN
THE VILLAIN

Ursula is a typical Disney villain, with ulterior motives. In the fairy tale, the sea witch is not really bad (though she displays a certain delight when she tells the Little Mermaid about the suffering she will have to endure); it’s zaidi a matter of business for her.

 THE FAMILY
THE FAMILY

It’s a little bit funny that all close ties Ariel has, she has towards male characters, because the Little Mermaid has her closest relationship to her grandmother, who raises her after the death of the mother, and to her five (yes, five, not six) sisters, who give up their hair for her sake, providing the opportunity to escape death kwa killing the prince (what she naturally doesn’t do).

 THE ENDING
THE ENDING

That’s naturally the most obvious change, considering that Ariel gets her happy ending with Eric. Stories kwa Hans Christian Anderson tend to have a bittersweet ending. That is also true for the little mermaid. One aspect of the fairy tale which gets rarely addressed in modern adaptation is the fact that the mermaid isn’t just fascinated with the prince, she also wants to get an eternal soul, like the humans have, something she can only get when a human loves her. But in the end, she does not turn into sea foam, but becomes an air spirit and the chance, to get the soul kwa doing good deeds. The Disney version naturally takes a lighter approach on the theme, but then, the movie is mainly about Ariel’s relationship to her father and not about her self-scarify.

 CONCLUSION
CONCLUSION

It’s funny, how similar the movie is to the chanzo text in some aspects, and yet so different at the same time. I like the interpretation in its own right, but if I really want to see an adaption close to the original, then I watch the Czech movie from 1976. I don’t think that it’s possible to capture the special mood of this fairy tale better. Sadly, it doesn’t look like there is an English dubbing (and if there is one, it’s not easy to come by), but if wewe want to get an idea what I mean, here is the ending, which perfectly sums the mood of the whole movie up. To explain the situation: Her family (don’t be confused about the lack of samaki tails, in this version, the merpeople don’t have any) waits for the ship on which the prince just married the foreign princess (btw, the similarity between the actresses for the mermaid and the princess is intended they are sisters in real life). The king over all seas tells the Little Mermaid (who always was his inayopendelewa daughter since she looks so much like her mother) over a telepathic connection that this is her last chance to kill the prince, au she will become sea foam as soon as the sun rises. One blood from his moyo will be enough, but even if she doesn’t do it, he will die either way, since the ship will be wrecked on the rocks, and everyone on it will perish. And then – well, watch for yourself, it’s pretty self explanatory

Here's the sekunde makala for the Best Disney Princess sidekick countdown. It covers the places from 31 to 40.

40. Flit
Starting with the juu 40, Flit was the first to leave. Though he might be cute, he is the entire time beside Pocahontas and doesn't manage do do anything helpful for her. People also don't like that he was favorable to her arranged marriage.

"Useless and annoying" - Swanpride

"A useless comic-relief who's not even funny. At least Meeko got a little smile out of me" - hisblueeyes

10.Snow White
Snow White is the girl Esmeralda's trying to fight against being. Snow White is oppressed, naive, lives in happy-dream world, and shows the ideals of a domestic housewife who doesn't do anything besides cook au bake, and can be pretty selfish sometimes. She can't stick up for herself au be independent.

9.Aurora
She would like that Aurora is a little zaidi flirty, witty, and longs for a little zaidi than she has, but ujumla, jumla would have the same issues with her she has with Snow...

However, even if wewe dislike it, there are some picha that might distract wewe =D . And I'm brazilian, so forgive me if my english isn't always perfect.

#10 - Aurora
I don't even dislike her and I think that's impossible, she's kind, graceful and responsible. wewe can't just hate someone for having little screen time! However, I still wish she had ran away from the vichimbakazi after they told her she...

To explain: This one is the toughest to write, kwa far. First of all, Pocahontas wouldn't care about the princesses, certainly not enough to make a list, and she wouldn’t be judgmental of any of them; she'd like them all and would probably be against making a list. Pocahontas really would be neutral to all of them. So it's not in her nature to make a list. But, it's just who we think she'd upendo the most, if she would. We believe at least to Pocahontas, the most important things are a princess following...

Hi guys, this third time I'm uandishi to wewe and I'm not sure whether this has already been written, and I thought that I would like to voice out my opinions about the princess ending in their movies.

10) Snow White
I felt that the ending was to short and we could have seen zaidi about Snow White's wedding. Also, the prince should get to zaidi about Snow White.

9) Tiana
Despite watching the movie ages ago, I am still able to recall how it ends. The ending was really amazing despite that I have to put it to number 9! But even that, I still upendo it.

8) Princess Jasmine
The ending should had been Jasmine's...

10.Ariel
This will be a little different from the other princesses, because I do think the reasons stated for Ariel have a lot of merit. The fact was, she was being stubborn, irresponsible, selfish, and put her entire kingdom in danger. However, I would like to point out that when Disney created her, they weren't exactly thinking "Let's make the worst role model possible, who girls should never model themselves after!" So, from someone who thinks Ariel is a wonderful role model, I want to point out the view I think Disney intended us to see. It's about striving for...

I walked to work the inayofuata siku with my head in the air. I never felt better in my life--I couldn't believe that my mother actually fell for the phony note.
I opened the door to my boss's office. "Mr. Anthony, I got the note signed kwa my mother. What's next?" I sat down in the plastic chair in front of his desk.
He dug through his dawati and pulled out a black suitcase. "The task begins," he announced, handing it to me.
My moyo stopped. I felt the cool texture of the black leather under my palm. "What's inside?"
"Your suit, a camera, notepad, laser pen, and a bar for defense," he counted these...

Have wewe ever noticed Snow White's shoes? They're almost the same as Cinderella's glass slippers (they are also beautiful) except its not transparent, the color's in between tan and yellow. They are really cute, they look comfortable, too.

The raft, slab that Princess pea, njegere and Conrad built seemed sturdy, secure, and safe. But as many people often need to learn on zaidi than one occasion, looks can be very deceiving. As they sailed through the bayou and reached the open sea, Conrad and pea, njegere got to talking.
"Conrad, there's something I have to tell you," pea, njegere summoned all of her courage.
"What is it?" asked Conrad, his voice tender and sweet. pea, njegere melted everytime she heard it. Although she would never tell him this.

Princess pea, njegere had never been a shabiki of the ocean. She'd always chosen not to go swimming in it for various reasons...like the fact that she had a solid dhahabu hot tub in her bedroom. Plus, who wants to swim in salty water filled with slimy creatures and dangerous predators? But as she sunk further beneath the waves and saw the crystal light of the sun shine down through the flowing waves and the beautiful plants sway back and forth...she still despised it. Although she'd never learned how to swim, she understood the basic idea. She struggled kwa kicking her legs rapidly and managed to gasp for...

I must find a way to be with him.
If I can’t have him, my world will always be grim.
No one I know will understand.
They all hate the land.
But it’s all I can ever think about.
I would upendo it up there, I have no doubt.
Especially to be in his arms,
Getting Lost in all of his charms.
Only then will I be satisfied.
Knowing that from now on it’s with him I’ll reside.
I long to be in his arms and to dance!
And find myself in a lover’s trance.
I must find someone who will help me with my plea,
Until then I will be miserable under the sea.

Yeah, I know, Valentine’s Day, it’s cliché, but I’m a singleton, as well as one of those nerds who does her homework early, so I really have nothing better to do. Why not write an makala about the couples on the siku of love? So, I decided I will do a DP couple makala today while I watch Aladin so I can tell my dad where it pixelates so we can get it replaced.

The Little Mermaid
In the Disney version, Eric, Ariel, and Triton defeat Ursula, and Ariel turns back into a human and marry's Eric. In the inayofuata movie, they have a daughter named Melody. But in the orginal version, The Little Mermaid sees the Prince marry a Princess, and despises it, so she is offered a kisu to stab the Prince to death, but instead, she jumps into the sea and dies kwa turning into froth. Since Hans thought this ending was a little to "disturbing," he alisema she became the "daughter of the air," waiting to go to heaven--- so in the end, she still dies.
