Snow fell in a calm way, soothing Belle. Her moyo had been angered and completely disappointed. Though Beast had come a long way since his transformation, there was still a part of him that was very dark and almost hurtful. She couldn’t understand why Beast was often angry, when he had everything he could ever want.
“Maybe I’m not seeing him right. Maybe I just don’t understand.” Belle pondered. “Maybe there really is a part of him I don’t know.”
She refused to believe Beast was bad. He was human just like anyone else and Belle loved him.
“When wewe upendo someone wewe accept them for the good and the bad.”
She walked along the snowy forest path, taking time to think and reflect of her upendo for Beast. The only thing she knew for sure was, it would never stop.
“He had been so stubborn.” Belle thought aloud. “Still, I suppose that’s part of what makes him the person I love.”
When they had argued, she had been just as stubborn. He didn’t hesitate to let her leave the castle, as he knew nature often calmed her down as being alone calmed him down.
    As Belle walked deeper into the forest, there came a strange feeling inside her that she was not alone. Perhaps Beast had come for her, she thought.
    “Beast?” She called out. “Beast. Is that you?”
    There came no spoken answer, only a small growl that soon increased in volume. Belle knew there were Mbwa mwitu loups in the forest, and suddenly regretted going out alone. She knew if a mbwa mwitu attacked her, she could only hold it off for so long. She hid behind a tree, away from the growl. But hiding could not protect her from the predator before her eyes.
