The Leader
A rant on Cinderella, nyota of the Disney Princess franchise.

Obviously, as many would know, cinderella is easily the most maarufu princess on a global scale. But why? Here are some reasons. Her story is one of, it not the most well known fairytale of all time. Though she is beautiful, her features are rather typical. This means she can be used to represent all the princesses. Her movie was a massive hit that started a cycle of successful films(Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan). Not to mention, her iconic dress and glass slipper. And finally, her movie is the inayopendelewa of Walt Disney himself. It's clear to see why cinderella is so universally loved.

Like Mulan, there aren't alot of negative things to say about Cinderella. But If there's one thing that bothers me, is that she's too passive. She lacks the courage to simply to stand up to her wicked stepfamily. There is no real reason for cinderella to be intimidated kwa them. Though her patient and humble nature is admirable, it can be somewhat irritating. She is basically a slave in own her nyumbani and doesn't seem to be interested in making things better, except for dreaming and wishing. While having faith is a good thing, it's also important to be assertive when needed and take control of your own destiny.

Let's talk about the mice, like other sidekicks they are the unspoken Heroes of the film. If it wasn't for Jaq and Gus, cinderella would have probably spent the rest of her life as a maid. They've constantly put their own lives at risk in helping "Cinderelly". Willingly putting themselves in danger for the sake of others. While it is hard to take such hilarious, goofy and cartoony characters seriously, Jaq, Gus, and the mice are indeed Heroes in their own right and clearly care deeply about Cinderella. An honourable mention must also go to Bruno the bloodhound, the birds and of course the Fairygod mother.

Because she's from the classic era, many people see cinderella as a damsel in distress, which is really unfair. A distressed damsel is someone is a woman in mortal peril. cinderella has never been in any real danger. There's also a conception that she was rescued kwa a prince. This is only a technicality as Charming never actively searched for her. Yes, it is his hand in marriage that ultimately gets out of her bad situation but it was Jaq, Gus and Bruno who saved her. She's the only princess who's sidekicks are far zaidi reliable than her prince. With that said, cinderella has never relied on a man for anything.

People seem to forget to take personality into account when talking about the princesses as role models. There are many aspects of Cinderella's personality that make her worthy of admiration. Firstly, she's patient and kind, she treats her stepfamily with respect no matter how cruel they are and refuses to sink to their level. Secondly, she's faithful, she keeps hoping for a better life, no matter how gloomy her situation. Lastly, she's very genuine and real. The harsh treatment still affects her to some extent and she actually breaks down when it becomes too much. All this combined with her "princessy" traits make cinderella a great role model.

cinderella is also one of few princess who's sequels must be mentioned particularly A Twist In Time. Of course, like any modern telling of the cinderella fairytale, she is transformed into a strong, independent and feminist friendly woman, silencing common criticisms of the princess. Though this is abit irritating, it is refreshing to see cinderella taking intiative and actually earning her happy ending.

As much as I upendo the Disney Company, I hate what they've done to Cinderella. Her gorgeous silver ballgown was changed to a bright blue color and her beautiful strawberry blonde hair was changed to bright yellow, not blonde, yellow. I always questioned Disney's choice for doing this. Is it a marketing strategy? I really don't get it. It's really saying something about modern soceity when even the beautiful features of cinderella aren't good enough and must be altered.

It's arguable to say whether au not Cinderella's perfect. She's delicate, poised, beautiful and other basic traits one would want in a princess. She's also abit of pushover and not very brave. Unfortunately, the film never really acknowledges how passive and timid she is. So as far as the movie's concerned cinderella is perfect but to us she is not as flawless as she's made out to be.

To me cinderella represents strength, from within. She puts up with tragedy, humiliation and abuse and still manages to have faith and keep singing. Many people would be suffering from depression if they lived her life but cinderella keeps her head held high.
One day, Snow White was in the palace gardening planting roses. Suddenly, she noticed something small and white hiding in the bushes. When she looked closer, she realized it was a tiny frightened baby rabbit. "Don't worry, I'll look after you," alisema the princess as she picked up the little rabbit took it inside. Within a few minutes, the rabbit had begun to feel at nyumbani and started hopping around the palace. Just then, Snow White look down and noticed her wedding ring was missing. She rushed to find the ring and together they started looking for the ring. However, they soon found that the rabbit...

Not too big of a drop since last round, and honestly not too much of a shock. Tiana's rankings seem to stay on an even plane whenever I do these countdowns, I don't think she's even made is past rank #8. PART 9

The wind furiously blew through the trees. The spirits became angered with the horrid sound of the gunshot. It happened so quickly and yet it seemed like time had stopped just so Pocahontas could get to where she is now. Her arm burned with pain as blood dripped from her arm. Her eyes were intense as she glared at John Rolfe.
“This is my love,” she angrily said. “No matter what wewe do, wewe cannot kill love.”
John Rolfe threw the gun to the ground, ashamed that the blood on Pocahontas was his...

I looked incredulously at Gaston, who was smiling. "Hello, Angel. Fall down from Heaven?"
I was about to answer, when I heard shouts. All around me, the Disney characters looked hostile towards me.
"Who the heck are you?" demanded Minnie Mouse.
Only an idiot would tell a complete stranger their name.
Suddenly, the two guards who had found me pushed their way through the crowd.

hujambo everybody, so I was watching Pocahontas this morning and I thought it was amazing as usual, but everytime I see it I can´t help myself from thinking about the sequel (which I know some people say is zaidi historicaly accurate, but who cares about that? I mean, it's Diney). No disrespect for those who do like the sequel. I'm not saying it's altogether bad, but the whole thing just seems a bit unnatural and rushed to me, considering the events of the first film. I'm just not feeling the chemistry between Rolfe and Pocahontas. Anyway, I came up with my own ending, for the sake of fun, and...

Warmth. It was the first feeling that Eugene Fitzherbert had
felt when re-entering the world. It was pleasant, yet oddly
uncomfortable, like it was healing a pain that he could already
no longer feel.

Soon after the warmth went away Eugene realized that
the petite brunette who was sitting in front of him had saved his life.
Saved him from the ultimate demise. Not from death, but a lifetime
as Flynn Rider.

Eugene felt that warmth now, but it wasn't the same. Sweat
dripped from his forehead and fell to the tile on the balcony
of the Corona royal palace. This was the summer sun causing him
the discomfort,...

This is actually a continuation of a oneshot I wrote a few weeks zamani called "Hereos and Theives" but this can also stand alone.

This is a story about Eugene's sister, Annabelle but don't worry Eugene is included!

A/N: So I decided to write on to this story. Also in this
story Eugene is 23(I know the writers say that he is 26
but I decide to ignore that.) Oh and Annabelle and Eugene
are 6 years apart.

I'm assuming that all the people on the spot are here because they upendo Disney princesses as much as I do... But why do we upendo them so much?

Every single Disney Princess has a different personality, story and dream but they all share one thing (asides from beauty )... They are strong, brave, independent, empowering women.

Some people may disagree with me but honestly I don't cre because these are my thoughts and opinions and I want to share them.

In so many sinema these days, the main character are the men. The women are side-line characters, letting the men rule the storyline. They have no real...

"What's so funny Annabelle?" He asked exasperated at his little sister. Eugene loved her but don't get me wrong sometimes she was just a little too much to handle.

Here are some bila mpangilio thing I noticed while I was watching the movie for the 7th time this month.

 I'm bad-ass

The movie starts with the brave Chinese soldier. He lights the fire, which is for some reason, very risky. Many people complain how in this movie, Chinese nation is obsessed with honor, pride and things like that, but I don't see nothing wrong about. It's a positive thing, they are portrayed nicely, better than being portrayed as violent, ignorant and with no...

Anyway, we're going to start with comparing Ariel to ECHANTED. I have watched it and it is VERY funny. The main character is Giselle, who is kind of all the Disney girls mixed. She has animal friends, cleans after people, and so on. Her prince is Edward, but instead HES the one with the evil stepmother. Apparently she's very kind to everyone. Yep. Sorry,Cinderella fans. She's at the bottom of my countdown. I mean,it's not that I don't like her au anything. I upendo her. She's kind and beautiful like all the other princesses and her movie is great, too. It's just that it seems like she's the most typical princess and has the most typical story. I understand it's very well known but still,it seems to be told zaidi than any other fairy tale. So,she's just not as exciting to me as the other princesses. But,hey,I'd choose her over Hannah Montana any day. ;)
