Ahh, feminism. What is it, really? Because apparently, the majority of fanpop does not have the faintest idea what it is. kwa definition, feminism is a noun meaning, "the advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men." For those who were confused, this does not mean the most "man hating" princess au the most feminine princess. Now that we've cleared this up, we can songesha on.
One might argue it's insanity to even consider mixing feminism with its most feared foe, the Disney Princess franchise. There are people who would suggest I am trying to, "pick a fight," kwa even posting the polls. To those people, I say nay. I am simply giving people the chance to express their opinion on something zaidi than the much repeated question, "which princess has the best hair."
Now that I've cleared up the obvious confusion and misguided hatred, we can actually get to the results. Ladies and gentlemen, I present, number ten!

10. Aurora
Movies: Sleeping Beauty, Enchanted Tales

According to the majority of Fanpoppers, Aurora is all fluff and no substance. She's a "brainless damsel in distress." Though in these early rounds there was much discord between voters, as we battled in out in a fashion similar to soldiers in battle, trying to decide who is truly less feminist: Aurora au Snow White. Many argued that Snow White is less feminist than Aurora because Snow White doesn't stand up for herself and willingly places herself in traditional gender roles. kwa the end of the day, Aurora's grievous lack of screen time worked against her as usual. Aurora spends all of her screen time dancing, singing, cleaning, and fawning over Phillip. Well these are not bad things per se, Aurora's general lack of backbone and inability to fight for herself made her the first to leave the countdown.

The gentle one.

9. Cinderella
Movies: Cinderella, Dreams Come True, A Twist In Time

Interestingly, Snow White was voted out now according to percentages. But the wave of commenter’s voting out cinderella won out in the end. People applauded Cinderella's emotional strength, her subtle defiance, and her small acts of rebellion. But at the same time people found Cinderella's defiance too subtle, her acts of rebellion too small. The fact cinderella doesn't do really anything for herself secured her early elimination.

 The passive one.
The passive one.

8. Snow White
Movies: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Things got pretty heated at this point. At first, it was obvious Snow White should go next. She is the first princess after all, how could she be feminist? Well, many people argued that since Snow White is zaidi feminist friendly than princesses like Ariel, because she survives without her prince and even puts herself in a position of power over everyone she meets. But she is still very much a damsel in distress, being saved kwa everyone from the huntsman to the dwarfs. This, plus her inability to do very much for herself made her the inayofuata to leave.

 The bossy one.
The bossy one.

7. Jasmine
Movies: Aladdin, The Return of Jafar, The King of Thieves, Enchanted Tales, Aladin Series

jimmy, hunitumia leaving the countdown so early shocked a lot of people, considering she is one of the only princesses who verbally acknowledges her worth as a person. But even though jimmy, hunitumia is a proud advocate of her own self worth, she still continues to deflect back into the typical damsel in distress role, and is extremely hypocritical about her own morals. While she claims she is no prize to be won, for the majority of the movie she allows Aladin to treat her like one. This combined with her highly sexualized appearance caused her elimination.

 The outspoken one.
The outspoken one.

6. Rapunzel
Movies: Tangled, Tangled Ever After

People often praise Rapunzel as a feminist ikoni because of her hold over Flynn and the fact she uses a weapon. While Rapunzel is a very feminist friendly princess, these claims are along the same vein as claims Mulan saving China makes her an automatic feminist hero. Even though Rapunzel is a strong, capable young woman who saves Eugene a number of times, she relies very heavily on male help and often reverts to being a damsel, which many members argued eclipses her positives.

The creative one.

5. Ariel
Movies: The Little Mermaid, Return to the Sea, Ariel’s Beginning, TLM Series

Ah, Ariel. Many claim she is the least feminist friendly princess, stating that she changed herself for a man and doesn’t do anything worthy of feminist notary. While many commenters’ do agree that Eric had some sway in her decision to become human, they defended Ariel in the fact that she had an interest in the human world long before meeting Eric. Some members argued that Ariel enforces a women should be seen and not heard type of mentality, as well as the frame of thought that it’s okay for a woman to change herself for a man. Others argued that Ariel is feminist because she choose Eric as her goal, and because she, unlike most of the princesses, was fighting a form of male oppression in the form of her father. There’s enough material on the matter to argue about Ariel’s feminist qualities, but for now it’s plain to see why she left the countdown now.

4. Pocahontas
Movies: Pocahontas, Journey to a New World

I personally whole heartedly disagree with Pocahontas leaving so early, as I, and many others, believe she is the only princess whose worth as a woman is never questioned. A few commenters’s pointed out that Pocahontas is obviously respected and independent, and she brings peace without ever resorting to violence au dishonesty. Others argued that since Pocahontas doesn’t seem to have much faith in her abilities and spends much of her movie confused, this made her less feminist than the remaining princesses.

 The wise one.
The wise one.

3. Belle
Movies: Beauty and the Beast, The Enchanted Christmas, Belle’s Magical World

For me personally, Pocahontas leaving so early really threw me off and I wasn’t sure who to vote for. Around now is when the debate over Belle versus Tiana began, and both sides made excellent points. Many of the voters pointed out that Belle did fall in upendo with an abusive man, and she was an extreme case of damsel in distress. But others were quick to mention that Belle didn’t fall for the Beast until after he started to change, and also Belle is one of the few princesses that have an outwardly feminist attitude, shown in her dealings with Gaston and the Beast. Alas, at the end of the siku zaidi people spoke out against Belle, than for her. So she was inayofuata to leave.

 The knowledgeable one.
The knowledgeable one.

2. Tiana
Movies: Princess and the Frog

On the surface, Tiana appears to be exactly where she deserves to be. She is a business woman, she’s talented and hardworking, she proves everyone wrong kwa achieving her dream. She proved that a woman, and a woman of color too, can do anything that a man can do. But despite all this, many voters still believed Tiana should be lower. This is mostly because of her endgame, and the infamous line about how her dream wouldn’t be complete without Naveen. She did give up everything for Naveen; her dream, her career, her life, even her family. To me personally this is much worse than Ariel’s infractions. With one sentence, Tiana completely crushed everything else she had built up, it was basically her saying ”Yeah I almost have my dream, but this guy is waaay zaidi important that my family and my career. Like so important I’m going to give up literally everything.” Is that an exaggeration? Maybe, unless wewe remember that Tiana didn’t know that she was going to become a princess. She was going to give up everything to live as a frog. Feminist win? wewe be the judge.

1. Mulan
Movies: Mulan 1 & 2

Of course Mulan won. She’s often heralded as the most feminist animated character ever, was there really any doubt? Not really. Of course there was hope, but still... Mulan is considered a feminist win because she saves China. She’s a warrior, she’s awesome. But is she really that feminist? If wewe apply a lot of the reasoning many of the voters used on other princesses at Mulan, she doesn’t really stack up. Mulan had to forgo all femininity and “become a man,” to save China. They had a whole song about it, wewe can’t argue this one. She didn’t directly oppose gender roles, she just wanted to be respected as a human being. Of course this isn’t a bad thing, but when wewe add all this together, does Mulan really deserve to be your number one?

 1. Normal dress
1. Normal dress
We are now on the final renaissance princess Mulan. However she is not a royal princess. She is not born one and she maries Li Shang a soldier not a prince, but she is still really cool and has princess outfits so don't be saying negative thing she rocks.

1.Normal dress
When we first see Mulan she is wearing a green Cardigan, blue strap all on juu of a yellow dress. This all looks lovely, I upendo the colours on it. A lightly coloured outfit thats Pretty and simple all in all I like it. 8/10

2. Brides maid dress
When imba reflections, Mulan is wearing a pink top, a high ponytail, dark blue strap...

Ariel: zumaridi, zamaradi
Considered to be one of the rarest gemstones, they represent uniqueness and is considered to be the symbol of rebirth and venus (beauty). The deep green and hues of blue will give a striking contrast to Ariel's stunning red hair. The gem is also known to help wewe stay centered in your heart’s wisdom, and make choices from upendo and compassion, which makes it even a better fit with Ariel.

No.

But was the world "ready" for women to vote when they were allowed to vote with the nineteenth amendment? Was the world "ready" for school integration in Brown v. Board? Was the world "ready" to legalize gay marriage when it did? (Sorry I'm basing this all off of American examples, as I am American and I know a large portion of this site is) The answer to all of those maswali is, if wewe define ready as an overwhelming support, no. But that didn't stop them from happening, and in my opinion it shouldn't stop this either.

The world is never going to be "ready" for change. It's simply impossible...

Today I'll be thinking of who'd come out champion in a fight of the Disney Princesses, first I'll be thinking of their advantages and disadvantages. Also I'm ignoring the obvious, their kingdoms.

Snow White:
A: Has All The Forest wanyama and the Seven Dwarves in her will, won't be fighting, she'd just be saying the commands for them, she does have her ways of getting people to do what she wants. She's very organized too
D: She is easily sabatoged and gullible. And forest wanyama aren't the strongest of animals. Besides she has no magic kwa her side

Cinderella:
A: It isn't easy to make her pissed...

I am bored and it's been a while since I've written a non-poll based article, so why not? Just so wewe know, I am not going to make their professions crap like "fast chakula worker" au "housekeeper", because that would be kind of unfair. I will do things based on their talents.

This is entirely MY OPINION, so don't get upset if we differ, though I've never really had any problems with people on here.

Snow White: Zoologist

A zoologist is someone who studies wanyama in their natural habitat, something that I believe would be the perfect job for Snow White. Snow is obviously an animal person so...

Hans' Austrian cousin.
Hi guys, I thought it would be interesting to compare Hans to another main antagonist from a live action movie The Illusionist, Crown Prince Leopold. As well as their motives and personality.

Crown Prince Leopold

Crown Prince Leopold was actually base on the real-life Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria-Hungary, the only son of Emperor Francis Joseph and Empress Elisabeth (Sissi) of Austria.
Sadly to say, Rudolf allegedly committed suicide along with his 17 years old mistress, Baroness Mary Vetsera at this Hunting Lodge at Mayerling. Known as the Mayerling Incident.
Crown Prince Leopold is actually...

I know it was a while zamani since I promised I would defend the Disney Princesses, but it's been hard trying to figure out how to set it up.

Snow White's voice is annoying

Remember, this is a reason why people don't like her. Snow White is always shunned and for shallow reasons like this. Her looks are also insulted as well as her dress.THESE ARE NO REASONS TO HATE A PRINCESSES!!! I'm sorry for hitting the all nyara button, but it's extremely annoying when people judge a princess kwa her looks and voice. It's like hating someone in real life because they're fat au they're ugly. I guess I have no...

Who doesn't upendo travel?

Well, I mean, I'm sure there are people who, beyond my comprehension, don't enjoy exploring other parts of the big wide world. But I upendo travel. And I'm sure the Princesses would too. So here are the places the Disney Princesses would enjoy vacationing to. *Disclaimer: I have never been to these cities, so if I sound stupid, have mercy! I got most of my information from the internet.*

Snow White: Glorenza (Glurns), Italy

Snow White would upendo to visit this tiny town in northern Italy, near the border with Switzerland. Since it is so small, with a population of only...

It's just an Easter Egg.Nothing more,nothing less.
I know that after people have noticed that little Easter egg in Frozen since it was released, many have developed the same theory. However,I do not agree with it and will give an explanation as to why. The theory with which I do not agree has to do with that brief moment in the film. Yes,by now, I think every major Frozen shabiki knows about and has seen the quick cameos of Rapunzel (with her short, brown hair) and Eugene (or Flynn,if Tangled mashabiki still want to call him that) when Anna passes kwa them during "For the First Time in Forever." From seeing these two Disney Princesses together in the same...

I got this idea when I learned that at one point, Disney actually was using some of the princesses in cause advertisements and it got me thinking: If each of the Disney Princesses wanted to select a cause/charity to contribute to, which would it be?

Snow White- Senior Citizens: Snow White ends up homeless after running away from the evil Queen and she was fortunate that the 7 dwarfs took her in. This is why I think she would want to help senior citizens the way she did for the dwarfs and the way that they helped her (although they were not senior, they were getting close).

He was so selfish that he didn't even want to take her on this trip and was so cold that he actually took her to a bar full of criminals to scare her. In real life, this would have been immensely endangering for her. Luckily, she is so charming and...
