Well, it seems like I'm doing all my makala backwards here. I made 3 other lengthy makala but just NOW introducing myself. I ilitumwa here a mwaka zamani and was pretty harsh but I try to be zaidi respectful about expressing myself, although I'm pretty strong minded about my opinions still.
It doesn't feel right not properly introducing myself at one of my inayopendelewa sites, so here wewe go. I'm sorry that like *all* my makala this is long. Even after I edited this to death!
Location: Indiana, and I upendo this under-appreciated state! We have some of the zaidi interesting people and hidden places to visit!
inayopendelewa Disney film: Tie between Snow White and The Lion King. I'm pretty biased about TLK. I saw it in theaters when it came out when I was 2, the other in 3D with my best friend. Both are very nostalgic and beautifully made. SW is makes me so emotional!
Other inayopendelewa films: The swan Princess, fern, kangaga Gully, Thumbelina, and The Prince of Egypt. For non-cartoons, To Kill a Mockingbird, Labyrinth, The Neverending Story, Signs, The Village (big Night fan!), and many scary movies.
inayopendelewa Princess: I used to think as a kid my fave was jimmy, hunitumia 'cause I loved Aladin but at age 16 I realized it's Snow- and always had been! Now Aurora is fighting to be my inayopendelewa because I upendo her so much now and see some of myself in her. I admire them both SO much for their gentle, feminine strengths while finding them interesting- one is so outspoken and bossy but sweet and the other is so awkward but ethereal and eloquent. With characters, I generally prefer admirability to relatability, which I sometimes have a hard time doing. I was surprised to see how many people relate to them here, but it's inspired me to look deeper at them.
Least Favorite: For years Belle and Ariel have been battling for this spot. I never liked either of their personalities but I have grown to like both zaidi though, after returning to FP.
Hobbies: Reading, writing, surfing the net, drawing, exploring nature, taking photos, practicing mad homemaking skillz.
Books:TKAM, Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, The Secret Garden, A Little Princess, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Bridge to Terabithia, Chronicles of Narnia, Esperanza Rising. I'm a HUGE shabiki of kids' books. I'm a Fables comic addict and a ndoto and horror freak.
At my best, I'm: Thoughtful, generous, creative, steadfast in my beliefs, loyal, and hardworking. I believe strongly in self-improvement and try to overcome my flaws... and often fail, but wewe gotta try!
At my worst: Impatient, argumentative, absent-minded, stubborn, socially anxious, and lazy.
Anything else: Jesus is very important to me. My faith isn't perfect but I try to take it into consideration with everything-what I watch, listen to, etc. So while we probably won't get into religious discussions, I just wanted to state this because many of my beliefs about Disney stuff is because of this. Other stuff- I'm a 16 mwaka old trapped in a 21 mwaka old's body, crazy cat lady, Sleeping Beauty's uhuishaji inspired me to start drawing again, the Prince is one of my inayopendelewa guys, and I still upendo Audrey Hepburn but am less of a freak about her. :3
I'm very happy to be apart of this community. wewe guys are probably the most supportive mashabiki for anything I've ever seen! wewe guys are pretty accepting and encouraging of different opinions, and wewe have many good discussions with objective debaters. This site rocks!
