Chapter 2: The Damsel In Distress
It was afternoon in a lovely Chinese palace where Mulan lived with her parents, her parents dreamed of seeing Mulan performing some material arts though they did upendo their daughter very much despite that and Mulan had always promised them that one siku she would onyesha them what she could do. But the problem was that she was scared of killing au even hurt other people no matter how evil they where, if they where trying to attack her she would just try to hide and act like a damsel in distress.
But at the same time she loved her parents so much that she had never done a selfish act in her whole life, today she would do another one, do some material arts for her parents just so they could see if she did it well au not
Mulan was nervous for this since she had failed at it the awali times she had tried and therefore she didn't have a lot of self confidence this day, but she was going to do it to make her parents happy
She practiced so many times, but she ended up failing all of the times, she was not even close at being flawless, but after 10 tries she decided to onyesha off her skills to her parents so she called on them to come out to the garden
She was expecting them to just be a public, but her father played an enemy to make it harder for Mulan and she couldn't help, but to act like a damsel in distress, she tried to hit him a couple of times, but ended up being scared because of her act. Her mother just sat down and looked up at first, but the zaidi Mulan failed the zaidi her mother began to look down to the ground below because she didn't like seeing her daughter failing
After about 10 dakika they had to stop because Mulan had tears in her eyes and was so terrified of her father that she just wanted to be with her mother the rest of the siku and so her mother decided to talk with Mulan alone:
"Mulan, I really upendo you, but it hurts to see wewe failing at material arts and just act like a damsel in distress, sure wewe tried to hit your father a few times, but it was far away from being perfect hits", her mother told her
"Don't ever mention my father again, I'm so scared of him that I don't want to see him again until I feel brave enough", Mulan replied still teary eyed and terrified
"No, I won't, in fact there's something else I want to tell wewe that I should've told wewe much earlier, your name is not Mulan, it's Ming Na and you're not a princess, wewe come from a world far away from here", her mother alisema with a sad, but calming voice
"Now I understand why I've never been great at material arts, but it feels weird, I've been living here my entire life and now I have to leave to find my real parents whom I've never met", Mulan replied with a much calmer voice
That evening she had a hard time sleeping, but at last she fell asleep and slept the whole night and the inayofuata morning she left her nyumbani to find her real nyumbani

End Of Part 2
People seem to either hate characters that are full of flaws (ariel merida) au hate characters that are too perfect (Cinderella, belle)
I feel like this has to do with how the princess reflects on ourselves...even if we hate to admit it
we like flawed characters cuz they have similar flaws to ourselves, the are zaidi human...or we like perfection to look up to as a role model...
au we hate flaws and act like critics, wanting the princesses to be better, au we hate perfection because we feel undermined cuz we don't meet the same standard au maybe because it's un realistic
What kind of princess do wewe like more?
A girl that deals with the bad inside herself and learns kwa the end of the movie...or
a girl that is almost perfect that deals with the bad around them instead?
Very interesting stuff....
Any thoughts?

In the 1950 film, when cinderella got transformed into her gown, it was white. When she looked at her reflection in the fountain, it was blue. When they needed products for this movie, some people thought the white kanzu, gown looked too much like a wedding dress, so they watched the whole movie over and over again until they came up with something. They saw Cindy's reflection in the fountain, and thought that was a good color, thus, Cinderella's dress is now considered blue.
