Hello, guys! In my first makala of the mwaka (or last, depending in the time-zone wewe are), I'll rank the Disney Princesses from worst role-model to best role-model (in my opinion). My orodha was inspired kwa the countdown dclairmont is doing. No Anna au Elsa in this list.

11. Merida

Merida is very brave, but I don't like she wanted to use magic to bewitch her mother's mind. This is unforgivable to me. No matter how Elinor pushed Merida into being a perfect daughter and princess, Merida should have tried to reason with her first. However, I admire her for apologizing and doing everything in her power to correct her mistakes.

10. Ariel

Ariel and Merida are kind-of tied for me as role-models. I know most of wewe will disagree with Merida being under Ariel, but I don't find Ariel selfish and immature. She was impulsive, and in her defense, she tried to reason with Triton about the humans. While I admire her for having the courage to pursue her dreams and not being prejudiced about humans (despite conflicts in their cultures), I still think the deal she made with Ursula was too risky.

9. Jasmine

I admire jimmy, hunitumia for her quick-thinking in each situation and using brains over brawn. However, it is a bit inconsiderate of her to leave her father and best friend. Like Swanpride said, she should have tried to find a way to circumvent the law before running away.

8. Rapunzel

I think Rapunzel is amazing in particular for trying to reason with Gothel before running away. But she also uses her creativity and was going to sacrifice her freedom for Flynn's health. However, she also trusts Flynn, a complete stranger and a wanted thief. I could "forgive" her for this if the movie showed the consequences of this act, but since it doesn't, Rapunzel ranks at 8.

7. Tiana

Tiana is usually praised for her being hard-working and honest, but I like her zaidi as a role-model because she is not envious of those who have zaidi for her (Big Daddy and Charlotte). This leaves Tiana in stark contrast with nemesis, Facillier. However, Tiana can be a bit of a workaholic, which I don't find too healthy. I'm glad the girl learns to let her hair down at the end (someone got the joke?).

6. Belle

Belle is compassionate and capable of seeing people for what they're inside, behind appearances. She also sacrifices herself for the sake of her old father's health. But she can be a bit of a snob, calling the townsfolk little people. She also complains about being an outcast, but never tries to find a common interest that could link her to someone in the village (Belle really remind me a lot of myself...). And let's not forget she went to the West Wing - for what? Some dakika of excitement? Because of this, she ranks at sixth instead of making it to the juu Five.

5. Pocahontas

Pocahontas is great: she is a natural diplomat and teaches her people and the Englishmen to respect different cultures. She is also in connection with nature. However, she should have spoken up to her father after Kocoum is killed. Instead, she stays quiet and meek untill the last opportunity. She also should have been zaidi clear that she didn't want to marry Kocoum instead of saying he was "too serious".

4. Mulan

Mulan sacrificed herself for her aged father's health (it seems like a lot of princesses sacrifice themselves for someone else's health...) and saved the whole China from the Huns. She is also humble and clever and creative, as showcased when she brillantly used her shabiki to take Shan-Yu's sword from his grasp. However, her plan was too risky (I know, I know... great acts of bravery take great risks), she can be terribly pessimistic and, above all, she is lazy to learn unless she takes it as a challenge.

Not to mention... that maybe I'm biased (*blushes*).

3. Snow White

No matter how bad situation is, Snow White takes it with unwavering optimism. She also is kind to everybody she meets and uses her skills to convice the Seven Dwarfs to let her stay. Snow White is polite and apologizes for scaring the wanyama in the woods, even thought she was afraid and crying herself just a dakika zamani - that shows she is resilient and recovers fast.

*Sigh* Now, to the part that she is constantly picked on (And I'm sorry if I'm offending anybody, this maoni isn't directed to someone in particular): the Poisoned Apple. I don't think this stains how much of a great role-model she is because:

a. She was just trying to help an old-lady who was seemingly having a heart-attack.
b. The story shows the consequences of her act.

2. Aurora

I know everyone is going to disagree with me here, but that is fine with me. Aurora loves and respects her aunts and sacrifices being with the upendo of her life for the sake of her duty and the relationship she has with her aunts. She put duty before pleasure, and for me that's something admirable. I can't blame her for crying when she was going through an identity-crisis.

To the people who say Aurora is passive and she just cried because she couldn't be with Phillip: wewe can't really tell that. That is left to anyone's interpretation, and I interpretate that she was being brave and dutiful, and that she cried because she discovered her whole life was a lie and that she couldn't be with Phillip. Thank you.

1. Cinderella

It is no secret that in my opinion cinderella is the best role-model. She stood strong and kind even though she suffered daily abuse from her stepmother. She also uses logic (like when she points out to Lady Tremaine she is obliged kwa law to attent the ball) and doesn't sink to her stepsister's level. If she wanted, she could have spat in their chai daily, but she didn't do that.

Also, she goes after her dreams. When she sees an opportunity, she grasps it and doesn't let it go. I think it is amazing she kept having faith in her dreams even after something really traumatizing like having her dress ripped from her body violently. If she didn't have faith, even if it was a tiny inkling, her Fairy Godmother wouldn't appear, and all opportunities of a Happy Ending would be lost.

Thank wewe for taking the time to read this.

I know I got like two makala to finish but I needed some inspiration so I decided to do this.

Since a lot of the makala are about countdowns about inayopendelewa Disney Princess au Prince and Worst Character and etc, I wanted to read a little bit zaidi stories, like fanfics.

Okay, I'm going to throw some ideas out here, and if wewe want to continue making it a fanfic, write it, then post it and in your title put "For Candy77019" so I'll read it.

And wewe could also use my other makala "Another Shot at Fantasy".

BUT NOBODY USES MY BAUDELAIRE ARTICLE. I promised myself that I'd finish that article...
