I shall tell wewe the truth: I've been a bit militant in my liking of Cinderella. Negatives opinions made me feel stressed and I have been stubborn and rude. What made me change my point of view and see the wrong of my ways was when I saw link: "I think cinderella is both overly passive and a doormat, because it's one that leads to the other. In this way, I can sort of relate to her because I'm very passive and shy of confrontation. However, I'm not saying this makes her less of a valid au interesting character. Sometimes its nice to watch a heroine who isn't all assertive and kick butt, at least for me, because I can see a bit zaidi of myself in the former."

I blinked and finally understood that seeing cinderella as a doormat is just another form of seeing a fictional character. I shouldn't take everything so personally, and I apologize to everyone I've been rude, mean au disrespectful to, especially MacytheStrange. I'm sorry, Maisie, and I hope wewe can forgive me.

But I would like to dedicate a short makala telling wewe guys why I don't think cinderella is a doormat, au someone who can't say "no" au the sort. This is just my way of seeing things, my interpretation of the character and wewe are not obliged to agree with it. I just want to clear my thoughts on that, so I can be in peace with myself.

Why I don't think cinderella is a doormat:

I don't think cinderella could run away from home. This doesn't have to do with historical accuracy, because Disney sinema aren't really historically accurate. I'm basing this of excerpts from the movie where I view as implying that she couldn't run away from home. Sorry if it's hard to understand what I meant.

1) The society where cinderella lives seem to work on a patriarchal basis. Based on nukuu and actions from Lady Tremaine, the stepsisters and the King we can tell that the woman's "job", per say, is marrying and bringing up her husband's children. It doesn't seem like there is much opportunity for a single woman to find a proper job and live on her own.

2) Cinderella tells Bruno after he admits dreaming of chasing Lucifer: "So if wewe don't want to lose a warm, nice bed, you'd better get rid of those dreams." A metaphor for her own situation, perhaps? Not far-fetched to assume, since the struggles between the mice and Lucifer are metaphors for Cinderella's own struggles with the Tremaines.

3) When cinderella walks into Lady Tremaine's bedroom, a prison bars-like shadow is cast over her (pictured below). And what's a prison, after all? A place where wewe (supposedly) can't escape. See the comparision I'm making here?

Of course, much is left to intepretation about Cinderella's motives, and I'm just coming up with my own conclusions. wewe can think she chose to stay because she wanted to honor her father's memory kwa keeping his state in order. au maybe she didn't leave because she wanted to take care of the mice and the other animals. Perhaps Lady Tremaine warned her fellow upper-class members about her, saying her stepdaughter is "just an imaginative child", quoting from the movie (I borrowed this argument from the page I already linked). au maybe she was afraid of her stepmother. Lady Tremaine wouldn't let her go easily, because she doesn't have money to afford a servant, so she need Cinderella's free housekeeping services.

It's always good to leave something vague about the character, because it leads the viewer/reader to use their imagination amd fill in the blanks. In the end, the character becomes zaidi relatable au personal to them. Belle, for example, has her "more than I can tell", and in Sleeping Beauty we are left wondering why Aurora went back to the castle: maturity au lack of backbone (I go with the first)? And Elsa is the perfect exemple: look at how many people managed to imprint their mental illnesses, depression and anxiety in her! With cinderella we are left wondering why she didn't leave the chateau.

Now, I think there are a lot of reasons some might dislike Cinderella: to be honest, I don't find her the most interesting princess to watch (though I don't find her the least interesting and she manages to hold my attention), and she can sound hypocritical when she reprimands Bruno and tells him to stop dreaming, among other reasons. But in the end, she is my inayopendelewa princess because she's the one who inspires me the most and has a wonderful personality.

Besides, I can't help but be seduced kwa her honey-like words: "No matter how your moyo is grieving, if wewe keep on believing, the dream that wewe wish will come true".

Thank wewe for reading. I hope wewe enjoyed my simple words. And remember:

hujambo look! It's Lady Rose MacClare! No, it's Cinderella! Actually, it's Natasha!!!
Hey look! It's Lady Rose MacClare! No, it's Cinderella! Actually, it's Natasha!!!
Hi everyone, I have been a shabiki of Russian history too and upon discovering Leo Tolstoy's classic, War and Peace. Here are my personal opinion on whether au not Disney should do it and to make Countess Natasha Rostova au her other Princess Marafiki to become the first Russian Princesses as official DP.

Yes, A Russian Princess!

We definitely need a Russian princess in the line-up, in this story, there are zaidi than 1 princess! So, since Natasha is the main character, she might be added alongside Princess Maria and Princess Elena despite that Natasha is only a countess.

The Story Is Very Long-Winded

Okay, So the story is mgawanyiko, baidisha in 4 parts of the book. It will be to long winded, unless Disney is bold enough to shorten certain parts of the story as long as it does not omit out certain important and prominent part of the story.

Time for Imperial Russia?

So, are wewe ready for Disney's very own Russian princess?

The Mouse's Sorting Hat was one of my inayopendelewa blogs on tumblr that I used to read in the golden era of late 2013 to early 2015. It was then a prolific blog that sorted many characters in the respective Hogwarts houses of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. Whenever I requested a character, the sorting would immediately come. Things went smooth, slow, steady, and ready, until my senior year, that was the dark days of late 2015 to early 2016. kwa that time, the blog had redesigned, but they weren't making any posts those days. I tried to message them, but they couldn't receive my messages. I sighed. I still tried to request, but the posts couldn't come. I sighed again, so I tried to reblog their posts on my blog. Unfortunately, the founder deleted the blog one day, and I felt saddened. Here are their sortings of the princesses:

It's been about 2 months now (maybe even a bit longer) since the last time I logged onto fanpop but that hasn't stopped the trolls.

As some of wewe may know, I had started here just trying to make Marafiki from all over and get different point of maoni and understand other people better. Unfortunately, I didn't find many people who were good-hearted, open-minded and trustworthy and therefore I didn't get to make so many friends.

Instead, what I found was that there were zaidi people here who are willing to hate and condemn than try to change and help au even just understand and accept. They rely...

 Hello Anna!
Hello Anna!
Hi guys, since I had done with Elsa's international version of her signature song for the movie version. Now, it's Anna's turn on her imba voice since she has zaidi songs apart from 'For the First Time in Forever'. I will also rate their voices as well!

Japanese (Kanda Sayaka)

Since manga & anime are my favourite, Japan specialises in this and I'm glad that her voice suits Anna, especially in For the First Time in Forever and upendo is an Open Door. (9.5/10)

Indonesian (Nadia Rosyada)

Her imba style is a bit heavy, especially in the For the First Time in Forever Reprise, but she puts in...

Okay, after Japan and Korea, here are my finalist for an Indian princess. Especially for her appearance, are wewe ready?

1) Aishwarya Rai (Miss World 1994)

She won the Miss Photogenic Award and the Miss World title back in 1994, she is a very pretty Bollywood actress in her own rights after winning the title and I have to say that she ages gracefully!

2) Priyanka Chopra (Miss World 2000)

She is another possible choice for an Indian princess, I would not be surprise if they choice her to voice her and base her looks on a princess too!

3) Sunidhi Chauhan (Elsa's Hindi Voice)

She was the voice of Elsa in the Hindi dub for Frozen, she also has a very pretty look and will definitely be good for an Indian princess.

Be Bollywood!

So these 3 choices are my personal favourites, do wewe have any suggestions?

1. Normal dress
Hiya my inayofuata princess is Rapunzel. She is the first princess to be made computer animated, this won't take long,

1. Normal dress
The films original outfit is a pink dress consisting of a light pink top, darker skirt, upindo with flowers, light pink sleeves and a sort of corsette she wears. The dress is a mixture ofor Auroras forest outfit and snow whites formal dress. It has a beautiful princess look and basic as well. 8/10

2.Wedding dress
Marrying Flynn is something any girl would want to do, so wewe wearing a wedding dress is a definite. It's nothing special though a white dress, a tiara same as any average wedding. I know it's from Tangled forever after so may not count but I thought I would add an extra dress just to fill zaidi makala space. 5/10

inayofuata up is Medreia from Brave. I am not a shabiki of her to be honest. She is quite mean at times but she does have costumes to discuss so that will be next, In the mean time maoni below and see wewe soon bye.

1.    The DP makala post that claimed to be me (now deleted) is obviously not me as those are not my maoni at all, it is a stereotype of something they are accusing me of that is not true. I don't talk like that at all either and I am shocked anyone could have believed that it was me.

2.    Anyone who actually cares enough to read the whole story can refer to my real “About Me” makala where I clearly talk about my mixed racial background and how my abusive childhood has shaped my views. I talked about how I associated “Stepford” with embracing...

Hi my name is andy10B. I am here to give my opinions on all Disney princess outfits through out the films they are in. They will be detailed on looks, how they suit the princess and my ujumla, jumla number out of ten I would give to it.
Firstly we will start with Snow white. My favourite princess and the fairest of all but is she juu of my outfit orodha lets see.

1. Working dress

This for me is very typical for a young woman to wear back then when as a slave for a wicked Queen. This is very basic and not a dress to wear for any real occasion but working. It is a mainly all brown, a dark brown juu with...

I was so inspired kwa 3 users before me, so here we go!

I'll Changed My Name to....

It would definitely be Aurora, because I upendo Latin names so she is the perfect choice for me. (Runner-up: Jasmine)

My Parents

Maurice and Tiana's parents! Both of us upendo IT gadgets, especially DSLR cameras, apple products and laptops. I also want to be independent as well and I'm glad he's very supportive of Belle despite not having a motherly upendo for her!
Secondly, I choose Tiana's parents because they're also very supportive! (Runner-up: The Sultan of Agrabah)

My Siblings

Definitely Belle, because we love...

Hi guys, since Moana will be coming to Malaysia on Boxing siku this year. Here are my thoughts and expectations on why I'm so looking mbele towards the movie!

The Story-Line

I hope that the story will not be like Frozen and I would expect something very original, and from what I heard is that Moana is not going to get a upendo interest like Merida and Elsa before her.

The Characters

Speaking of the characters, I hope that Moana is not going to be like a carbon copy of Merida from Brave. If she was, I would be surprise and all that! But I just hope that she's not going to be like a spoiled brat...

After kusoma link, I wanted to write one of the quick one for myself as well. It's really fun. So here's my borrowing from Disney Princess lives.

1. If I could change my name, who would it be of?

Elinor: I think it's regal and sound very beautiful as well. It comes from French origin word "Eleanor" which means bright, shining one.

2. Who would I want for my parents?
James and Eudora - they are the most supportive parents I have come across in Disney. They give their child abundant love, attention and care. And also believed in their child's dreams.

3. Who'd I want as my sibling?...

A Disney Tale: A young princess narrowly avoids death on the command of her evil stepmother. She shacks up with a group of mining dwarves but the stepmother finds her and puts her to sleep with a poisoned apple. The dwarves put her inside a glass coffin until a prince comes and kisses her, releasing her from the spell to live happily ever after.

Disney Heroine: Snow White is the first Disney princess, but having viewed this around the same time as cinderella and Sleeping Beauty (my daughter is going through a Disney Princess phase) I would argue that those princesses are what we think of when...

Finally, after my European coverage made it to the front page of Fanpop. Here are the delegates from the Americas and my final opinion on my favourite Let It Go rendition!

English (Voice Actress: Idina Menzel)

The original version that started it all! I started to know Idina in Disney's Enchanted and from what I've heard is that there was a 'deleted' song written especially for her in that movie, I was really disappointed that it did not make it to the final cut.
Then, my younger brother got the original Broadway cast of Wicked and I was blown away kwa Idina's rendition of Defying Gravity and...
