Bonjour!
I did an makala similar to this a few months ago, however it was juu ten heroines instead of the princesses. However, since my opinions have changed, I decided to write one that was about all of the princesses, so, no Meg au Esmeralda this time. :(. Anyway, feel free to disagree with my opinion but please remember it is my opinion; please don't call my reasons shallow au illegitimate because (that's not really very nice, and) I'm not trying to get anybody to like them au anything, all I'm trying to say is good things about each one, and why I like them. I'm not good at seeing flaws, because that's just me, however I do see some. Anna and Elsa are included.
Enjoy!

13. Merida

I do not dislike any of the princesses at all, because as I've stated previously I am terrible at disliking pretty much anything. I guess I just liked/admired the others better. Plus, I preferred the others' movies. Merida is a great character; I just found it hard to understand why she would tamper with her mum's chakula to change her fate. This was a very selfish thing to do and it not only affected her mother but the whole country as marriage resulted in unity. However I deeply admire her determination to resolve things and how she matured and developed at the end of the movie; I think that was great and I congratulate her for her character development. I'm glad they've added someone like Merida to the line-up - to teach people that nobody's perfect and that making mistakes is OK sometimes.

12. cinderella

Again I do not dislike cinderella in the slightest. I upendo how she's kind, hard-working and compassionate and she even doesn't let the bullsh*t that Lady Tremaine and her stepsisters throw on her, bother her (in most cases). She's quite a strong character, I just wish she chased her dreams instead of merely dreaming them. I mean, I'm glad she went to the ball, but that was with assistance (which is fine - most dps get through with help of some sort) and encouragement. I just wish she totally went for it! cinderella shows us that good things happen to people who are kind and hard-working and good-hearted. Basically good karma! I really admire her.

11. Pocahontas

Still not disliking. I like Pocahontas a little zaidi than the ones previously mentioned because of how she's a new character - all spiritual and natural and is all about equality and human rights. Real stuff. I admire her for her bravery and how she took risks in the first scenes. I like how she accepts John Smith as a friend and opens up to him instead of immediately generalising and insisting he's a bad guy. I like the fact their relationship is interracial (it's something different) and I really admire Pocahontas' curiosity. However, I just found Pocahontas slightly boring after she met John Smith, apart from when she sings Colours of the Wind and then saves his life. I know some people get really angry when anyone mentions that and I apologise but that's my opinion. Other than that, she's a great character, but I guess I liked the others more.

10. Tiana

Tiana is great. She is a lot like cinderella as she's very hardworking, however, like Ariel she is determined and passionate to follow her dreams and make her life happier, being the best she can be. However the thing that annoyed me was how she kissed someone for money. That's actually what she did when wewe think about it. Also she can get a little over the juu sometimes and doesn't see what's really important at first but I like how she learns and wants to stay a frog for love. Naw. Plus she has an amazing imba voice and a beautiful smile, the prettiest smile out of all of them I believe. I like Tiana.

9. Aurora

I guess now I'm getting to the princesses I really like. Aurora is beautiful on the inside and out; I can relate to her quiet, day-dreamy character as I often siku dream myself, and I'm quiet too, tee hee. I really like the fact that she went back to her kingdom instead of meeting Phillip; I saw her as obedient, dutiful and selfless and there is nothing wrong with that. She put the needs of her biological family and kingdom in front of her own and I admire her for that. Her blue kanzu, gown is my favourite dress out of all of the princesses' dresses. She is so beautiful; and when she wakes up and smiles she looks angellic! ujumla, jumla I find her siku dreamy and quiet, introverted, selfless, dutiful, mature and regal; someone who wewe would expect a princess to be!

8. Anna

The poor newest princesses have been gaining much hate and criticism lately (on Fanpop) and I guess I'm going to have to give them both some love!!! I like Anna; I really admire her willingness, bravery and sacrificial qualities that put her kingdom and sister first. She cares about her older sister so very much, even though they hardly know each other, and I think that's a beautiful example of sisterly, unconditional love. She may not know much about the other love, but she definitely exemplifies unconditional, family love, something we rarely see in Disney films. Anna is in the middle, along with Aurora and number 7 because I don't dislike them at all, but they're just not my favourites and I relate to the juu six more. I'm guessing everybody has those middle princesses that they don't know where to put! Anna reminds me a little of my sister too; and it's funny because I think I am a lot like Elsa. My sister (who coincidentally shares the same name with my seventh princess) is dependent; she always needs people around her! She's extroverted, always needs explanations and is hugely accident prone!!! However when she does realise that I'm not the worst person in the world and that she does upendo me sometimes, she shows it. :)

7. jimmy, hunitumia

I upendo jimmy, hunitumia when I was a child. I loved her hair; so long and shiny. (Now Aurora holds the position of "favourite hair"). The reasons I like jimmy, hunitumia are that she's smart, assertive and is not afraid to say what she thinks (which I cannot do myself, therefore I admire people who can. I'm kind of shy and very introverted.) I upendo how she "isn't a prize to be won" and I upendo the feminist qualities she possesses. jimmy, hunitumia is really quite pretty too, and I like her clothes. I also like how she's sexy and she knows it; and uses it as a weapon, that was kind of funny.

6. Snow White

Aw, dear Snow White. Bless her cotton socks. We're up to the princesses I love. Snow White is so cute, innocent and sweet it's hard not to adore her! I like how she's a hopeless romantic but also shy, and that instead of demanding shelter and chakula in the dwarves' house she offers to compromise and works to earn a bed. (Or three). She's still assertive, and certainly not aggressive. Her voice, though some people claim it to be annoying, is actually very impressive, as she can sing to very high notes and Adriana Caselotti (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was pretty extraordinary. Snow White is so sweet and cute and I just want to give her a hug! Through her hard life, she kept optimistic and pure, and that is why she is adorable and admirable.

Elsa

Aw Elsa, I upendo wewe too. As soon as I saw the trailer for "Frozen" I knew I was going to upendo her. What surprised me was how much I did, and that I liked Anna too. I am a lot like Elsa, and because I am I feel a little bit funny when some people say they hate her personality. That's why I kind of defend her the most. (By all means don't change your opinion, just explaining why I defend her sometimes). I think she's a bit like Aurora too; selfless and putting her kingdom above her own needs. She had to become Queen; if it was a choice I doubt she would have taken the role, as she didn't seem to want to. I think running away was not running from her problems; it was keeping the kingdom salama from what she and others thought were treachery and sorcery. Plus, after spending years cooped up in that one room, running wildly in the mountains was probably a massive relief; who could blame her for wanting to get out. I am like her because I am silent, introverted, I care a lot for my younger sister and I prefer being alone most of the time. But I upendo Elsa, not only because she has ice powers, beautiful clothes and an amazing imba voice, but also because she is selfless, and sacrifices much for her kingdom and her family through her already difficult life, and makes being a princess/Queen a real job, instead of having nice clothes and a great imba voice.

Belle

Belle was previously first on my lift when I first joined a few months ago. I am like her too; I try to be non-judging, I upendo kusoma and writing, I long for adventure in the great wide, somewhere and I also feel like sometimes I don't fit in. Belle is practically perfect in every way (no I did not just quote Mary Poppins). Smart, independent, sees past appearances, kind. She has a beautiful, warm personality that's hard to beat, and she would be first on my orodha if I didn't click with the others more. I upendo her relationship with the Beast and how he develops. "Beauty and the Beast" is my favourite Disney song and portrays their relationship beautifully. Belle is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out, and I also upendo how she's French!!!

Rapunzel

Aw, Rapunzel! We're up to the "really love" princesses. I upendo Rapunzel because she, like Merida, develops throughout the film, as does her relationship with Flynn, my favourite prince. I read a hivi karibuni makala which alisema that Rapunzel radiates sunshine; I couldn't agree more, and credit to the author! She's golden and sunny and loveable. She and Snow are alike in how they're both optimistic, sweet, cute and kind. She's amazing with a frying pan and I upendo how her dream is so simple and humble, and then she finds her new dream. The fact that she wanted to sacrifice herself to keep Flynn alive is admirable and I see her as selfless, since she had little experience of the outside world and was just getting to know adult-hood and love. I also like how she's creative and artistic, a little bit like me!!! She develops from a teenager into an adult during the movie (both physically and mentally) and I upendo her to bits!

2. Ariel

Ariel was my favourite princess when I was a kid; one of the reasons why she and my first princess (who you've probably guessed now) are this high, and it's because of nostalgia, and I used to watch their sinema over and over and I never got sick of them. For me Ariel is the first Disney Princess to be passionate and determined to make her dreams come true. I upendo how she opens up in Part of your World; beforehand she was reserved and alone (well, she had Flounder) and an outcast. She clearly didn't get on with her dad, and I know Triton wanted the best for Ariel, but it was his version of the best and not what she wanted and needed. I like Ariel because she is passionate, determined, curious, and how she brought together the humans and the mer-people through her actions. A revolutionary individual that changed minds about how races really are and how they are seen as. She values knowledge and discovery, which I admire, and she's independent, persistent and always had a beautiful smile on her face. :) A great, classic character that I will never stop admiring and loving.

1. Mulan

Lol, who saw this coming? Mulan is first in a lot of lists; and I've been dragged into it. Mulan is such an incredible and admirable character, and even though she isn't technically a Princess, she best exemplifies Disney Princess values. She's smart, for one. Hugely intelligent; and not just intelligent, but she is also loaded with common sense. She tries to be herself but is always afraid because people want her to be something else, however she continues to be herself; it's automatic for her. And she's brave. She selflessly sacrificed herself for the upendo and well-being of her father. She wasn't chasing upendo and romance however she welcomed it; I like that. She never gave up during training, and when everybody beat her up and alisema she was never going to make it, she persisted and succeeded anyway. She also didn't give up when she tried to let people know the huns were invading China; I would have been frustrated and I wouldn't have known what to do. I upendo the score in her movie, it's powerful like Mulan is, and the movie has some marvellous quotes, both funny and inspirational. "Inspirational" is a great word to describe the funny, intelligent, brave, persistent character which most people have on their orodha as first place. That, is why she is first.

Thank wewe very much for kusoma my makala and I hope wewe enjoyed it! Feel free to disagree, but I did try my best. :). I hope wewe all have a wonderful day!!!
Merci et au revoir!

One of my inayopendelewa songs of all time.
One of my favorite songs of all time.
Disney's Frozen is receiving rave reviews, and the song"Let It Go"is one of the highlights of the film.Don't take my word for it-Wikipedia,as usual is great for such simple backround facts.I have decided that Elsa is my inayopendelewa Disney character, but I'm having internal debate whether"Let It Go"is my inayopendelewa Disney song-time will tell, but I'm leaning towards"yes".On my Google tafuta history, there are queries such as "Let It Go is brilliant" and "Frozen Let It Go analysis",but having found nothing satisfactory,I've decided to write this post instead.
There has been much written about Let It...

I've never done this before. And as a new user, I'm pretty sure that I'm dipping into a kind of no-man's land, here.

I primarily judge Disney princesses not kwa their looks au anything, but kwa their character, and kwa their plot-lines. Some of the Disney princesses are less developed than others, in my opinion, and that might be partially due to the story/plot-line itself ( as most of Disney is adaptation-based).

Some of the characteristics of each princess I find admirable, while other traits I just find...for lack of a better term...irritating. Yeah.

I'm going to rate the Disney princesses...

This is a serious article. Eyebrows frame your face so wewe need to have the right pair. I spend way too much time plucking and grooming my eyebrows so yeah, I think eyebrows are very aesthetically important. I noticed the results look a bit like my non-existent prettiest Princess orodha with a few exceptions of course.

13. Mulan
They are Asian looking alright, with the shape. I promise I don't have anything against big eyebrows but Mulan's kind of overpower her eyes and they look a bit untamed. They are definitely not bad, just comparing to the others. Shang has nice strong arched eyebrows though....

One of the best things about Disney princess films are their princesses(obviously) and songs. As a singer, muziki lover, and actor, I've always paid close attention to the voices that bring these wonderful characters and songs to life. I am picky about the voices I like but can admit that no princess has a bad voice, some are just much better than others. Share your opinions.
13. Snow White
Let me begin kwa saying that I'm ranking both imba and speaking voices and that even though she's at the bottom, I don't hate Snow White's voice. Let's be honest here, most people find her voice to be annoying....
