13) Merida
Unfortunately, Merida takes last place in this year’s Disney Princess countdown. While no one truly denied she developed, many found it poorly done. Some people loved her flaws, bravery, how well she developed, and her tomboyish, daring personality. Others hated the archetype she represents, and found her poorly developed and unoriginal. Users also disliked the movie itself, causing their opinions on Merida herself to be not so great. Overall, Merida has her fans, but the overwhelming amount of people who had her in their bottom 3, cause her to place very low.

“Much like Belle, she's been pretty much everywhere on my list, except for first place of course. There are things about her that I really upendo and things that I really hate about her. I mean she's smart, fun-loving, adventurous, stubborn, speaks her mind, is adventurous, and does develop. But I hate that she's rude, ungrateful, bratty, a middle finger to the Disney Princesses, starts off as (and was marketed) as a badass that doesn't need saving but later become a faux action girl that constantly needs to be saved, tried to change her mother, is inconsiderate, is okay with war, calls her mom a beast, ruins her mom's tapestry, and alisema she'd rather die than be like her mom. Plus it feels like they changed her too much. She does grow and mature but they also take away her quirks and her badassery in the process. Unlike Rapunzel, who also develops, they keep her quirks without making it seem poorly done au changing her too much. But overall, I do like Merida but I don't upendo her.”- KataraLover

12) Elsa

Elsa’s hype has obviously worn down on Fanpop. The snow Queen was once a shabiki favorite, but now kwa only 2 points, did she make it to 12th place. Elsa has a small group of mashabiki and multiple people who find her character bland, a plot device, and several people hated how she ran away from her problems. On the contrary, people fond her relatable and interesting. Elsa doesn’t have a whole lot of diehard mashabiki and found herself ranked below 10th in many Fanpoppers list.
