Second: Here is my personal break-down analysis based on knowledge of Arab/Muslim culture compared to the Disney Aladin film.

The majority of Princess Jasmine's numerous flaws stem from the fact that she is completely inaccurate and offensive to her culture. From the clothes she wears to the way she speaks, jimmy, hunitumia does not represent Arab au Muslim women at all but rather a disgraceful woman in their culture. Unfortunately, jimmy, hunitumia is not a suitable role model for young girls.

1. jimmy, hunitumia is dressed like a Harem girl instead of a princess. A princess is the daughter of the king who no man is allowed to touch without the king's approval. A harem girl is one of the king's many mistresses. No king would dress his daughter like his mistress. No father would want to see his daughter dressed in that way.

2. jimmy, hunitumia is very impulsive to her detriment. She runs away from nyumbani which would never happen in reality as she knows she would've been raped and/or killed as a lone female running around, especially in that clothing.

3. jimmy, hunitumia does not choose her words wisely and therefore gets herself into zaidi trouble. (Example: She says "At least one good thing will come of me being Queen, I'll have the power to get rid of you!" to Jafar. Now, someone who wasn't trying to stop her from getting to be Queen has all of the incentive in the world to stop Jasmine. If jimmy, hunitumia had kept her mouth shut, she could've just became Queen and actually got rid of Jafar instead of just talking about it.)

4. jimmy, hunitumia doesn't have enough self worth/value. As she says in Aladdin, "I am not a prize to be won." So she's just some trash to be thrown out? She completely looks at herself the wrong way. She IS a prize to be won and she gets to choose who gets to win. Instead of just being aliyopewa to someone, her preferences are actually playing a huge part. Most other princesses in the world and most other women in the middle east (Jasmine's culture) would not have had so many luxuries in choice of who to marry as jimmy, hunitumia did.

In addition, when jimmy, hunitumia first meets Aladin when he saves her in the marketplace, she immediately goes nyumbani with him. He is a stranger and she has no idea what he will do to her. She also knows Aladin is lying about what Abu says when Aladin pretends Abu "thinks it's awful" that jimmy, hunitumia "has to get married". In this moment, she goes to kiss Aladin but the guards interrupt. No proper young lady would go back to a strange man's house and let him make his moves on you. If she had zaidi self value, she wouldn't be offering her first kiss to a bila mpangilio mitaani, mtaa criminal that she doesn't even know if she should trust au not yet.

5. jimmy, hunitumia is incredibly spoiled. Instead of recognizing how much better her life is than any other woman around her, jimmy, hunitumia refuses to acknowledge her blessings and instead is very spoiled and selfish in her wants for more. Nothing would ever be good enough for jimmy, hunitumia as her life is already better than everyone else around her yet she still complains. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of kwa a good man before he died and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether au not they are worthy au whether au not she could upendo them when she wont even really meet them au give them a chance? She'd be a much zaidi pleasant and reasonable person if she at least gave them a chance but made no connection. The film makes it obvious that she doesn't even try to connect with them though.

6. jimmy, hunitumia is absolutely a tease and not just for her clothing. Having watched the film, it is easy to say that her clothes are chosen for her rather than chosen kwa her. This doesn't change the fact that she is so unpleasant in her personality that the most likely reason for her provocative clothing is so as not to scare off every potential suitor. Besides her clothing though, jimmy, hunitumia acts like a tease on her own accord. She teases Aladin on the balcony before berating him. (Refer to #6.)

7. jimmy, hunitumia is referred to as a "Shrew". A "shrew" is a person with violent temper and speech. This is not seen as becoming of a young woman. She should no better when to hold her tongue and when not to. She is also a prejudiced shrew, being awful to innocent people who don't deserve it. When Aladin compliments Jasmine, telling her that he thinks she is beautiful, her response is to tease and then berate him. She says "Hmm... Yes. I'm rich too. The daughter of a sultan. A fine prize for any prince." to which Aladin says "A prince like me." Hopeful that with his new status, he will finally be worthy of Jasmine's upendo and attention. He goes through a lot just to get to see her again and how does she respond? "A prince like wewe and EVERY other peacock I've met. Just, go jump off a balcony!" What a shrew! This guy goes through all of this trouble just so he will be allowed to meet and talk to wewe and all wewe can say is for him to go kill himself? Over what? Being attracted to you?

8. jimmy, hunitumia is incredibly spoiled. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of kwa a good man and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether au not they are worthy au whether au not she could upendo them when she wont even really meet them?

9. jimmy, hunitumia is prejudiced. She doesn't even want to give Aladin a chance just because now he is a prince even though he is the same guy? This proves that jimmy, hunitumia is not a generous au kind person who takes people as they are but rather for what they represent. She didn't even care to know Aladin as Ali because of what he represented not who he was as a person.

10. jimmy, hunitumia is a hypocrite. In addition to her being rude to Ali just because he was a prince, she was still rude when she realized he was Aladin the whole time. When she tricked Ali into admitting that he was Aladdin, she got very upset and started yelling at him. She yelled at him because he lied about who he was even though she started the lying in the first place when she lied about being a princess. How could she get mad at Aladin for pretending to be something he's not when she did the exact same thing? Somehow it's right when she does it but wrong for anyone else? Exact definition of a hypocrite. Both Aladin and jimmy, hunitumia felt trapped kwa their positions in society and they both lied about who they were to discover another world they felt denied of. She had no leg to stand on whatsoever for getting mad at Aladdin.

Personally, this is all a shame to me because they pretended jimmy, hunitumia was an Arab princess but then they designed everything about her to be American au an Arab harlot. This is not representative of her culture au of a princess. [I personally would have loved to see her zaidi true to character as I think Muslim/Arab women have a very unique grace and bravery that could have been shown.] I believe the reason that jimmy, hunitumia gets negatively portrayed in lots of "fan fiction" is because she is so much in conflict with her own culture and princess culture. It is hard for grown adults to take jimmy, hunitumia seriously as a role model for young girls when she is portrayed this way.

Had jimmy, hunitumia been portrayed zaidi accurately, she would've been far zaidi like Cinderella, Ariel au Belle. She would've been braver, kinder and zaidi modest. She would've had zaidi grace and poise the way a princess should. The most accurate jimmy, hunitumia was portrayed in Aladin was in her purple royal engagement announcement dress. That is the jimmy, hunitumia who should be sold to the little girls. Not the spoiled, impulsive, shrew-like tease version of her.

NOTE: Aladin IS taken from "1001 Nights" au "Arabian Nights". Princess jimmy, hunitumia is based on Princess Badroulbadour who is Chinese (not Arab) and described as being somewhat spoiled and vain.

What I upendo the most about Mulan is she's someone who was trained for battle but instead of depending on weapons to win the war, she uses strategy. It shows that wewe don't always have to rely on brute strength au weapons to win, wewe can use your own brain. It really bums me out that people forget that about Mulan and just remember her for learning how to fight. -BB2010

I upendo her bravery, perseverance and how she's willing to disguise as a man and go off to war to save her father. -LMH5113

I upendo Mulan's upendo for her family. She loved her family so much that she would risk her own life to save...

On the Ninth siku of Princess Walt Disney gave to me

Nine Ships are sailing

eight mice a-sewing
seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend

four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree.

If wewe ever want to establish a new international holiday, do it in September. I am serious, there are surprisingly few actual holidays in this mwezi - but a lot of really weird ones. I was kind of tempted to mark "Talk like a Pirate Day" in the calendar for that reason alone, but soon I had two hot contenders. One was Heritage siku which would have most likely...

In case wewe haven't noticed yet, when I put this calendar together, my goal was to make it as international as possible..meaning, it wasn't supposed to feature the holidays of a specific country, it was supposed to feature holidays which are as widely as possible celebrated, au at least well-known. I also tried to find holidays which could be in some way be related to a princess. Hence I picked Rapunzel for May.

As wewe can see, I...

It's typical of sequels to come out about 2 au 3 years after the first film. Sometimes, sequels come out the mwaka after the first one. However, Frozen 2 has come out 6 years after the first film. That's something it has in common with Alice Through the Looking Glass, which came out 6 years after the first film. Of course, the big the swali is if the wait was worth it. In this review, I will discuss how the two films compare to each other, as well as give my feelings on the premise and cast of characters.

Frozen 2 brings back the cast of the first film (excluding Prince Hans and the Duke...

Anastasia and Dmitri
Hi guys, it's been ages since I had written my last makala that I decided to write another comparison article. This time it is both Anastasia and Cinderella, ready?

Anastasia

So, we all know about what happened to Anastasia. Upon watching this for the first time in many years, it was like Anastasia became cinderella because she was like the Lost princess that her beloved grandma is looking for, hence the ballet kwa Sergei Prokofiev was shown during the scene when they were in Paris, France.
The muziki box plays a role in the movie, it is very similar with the glass slipper in Cinderella. Both...

11. Aurora
Ever since I was a little kid Aurora didn't leave much of an impact. I've always hated the whole "love at first sight" deal so I really don't like that she quickly falls in upendo with literally the first guy she meets and then gets all upset that she can't see him anymore after only meeting him once for a few seconds. Then there's the fact that for the rest of the movie she's asleep so there's nothing else we get to know about her.

She is really pretty, I've always loved her ubunifu and her dresses...

Emeraldine sighed. Of all tables, why did she have to serve that one? This had to be some kind of test.

She shoved her pencil and pad into her apron and approached them.

"Hi," she alisema awkwardly.

When the guy at the meza, jedwali finally looked up from his menu, his eyes bulged in surprise.

"Esmeralda! Do wewe work here?"

"My name is Emeraldine," the waitress replied through gritted teeth. "And yes."

He would remember that if he'd paid a speck of attention on their tarehe last week.

"Sorry I haven't called," Jason avoided her eyes. "Work has been busy."

"I can see that," Emeraldine mumbled as she glanced at the...

Music soothes the savage beast, do you agree?
Since I had done the actors for the Beast, now it's the singer from Popera genre on who will be the perfect Beast.

1) Josh Groban

I have always been a shabiki of him and after listening to his rendition of If I Can't upendo Her from the musical version on Youtube. I personally felt that Josh should have been cast as the Beast!

2) Urs Buhler & Carlos Marin (Il Divo)

Just so wewe know that Carlos Marin had previously played the Beast in the Madrid production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, and I personally felt that his voice is zaidi suitable.
The sekunde choice was his Swiss bandmate, Urs Buhler because he has both the looks and voice for both Prince Adam and the Beast.

3) Il Volo

The Jonas Brother version of Il Divo, they sound perfect and Prince Adam would definitely sound very operatic. Do wewe agree?
