haterz will claim Let It Go was furthering the gay agenda, rlly I was just talking about my powers lol it ain't that deep
No.

But was the world "ready" for women to vote when they were allowed to vote with the nineteenth amendment? Was the world "ready" for school integration in Brown v. Board? Was the world "ready" to legalize gay marriage when it did? (Sorry I'm basing this all off of American examples, as I am American and I know a large portion of this site is) The answer to all of those maswali is, if wewe define ready as an overwhelming support, no. But that didn't stop them from happening, and in my opinion it shouldn't stop this either.

The world is never going to be "ready" for change. It's simply impossible for change to happen without something catalyzing it to happen, because even 50 years from now there will still be homophobes just like 50+ years later after the nineteenth amendment and the Brown v. Board ruling there are still sexists and racists. If we keep saying "just wait till everyone is ready" au "but!! there's homophobes still!" then we will never get an LGBT princess. We'll constantly be at a stand still in some waiting game that refuses to end.

That doesn't mean that we can get discouraged though and just keep saying "we'll wait a few zaidi years, then people will be ready" because it just isn't realistic. We're at a key time in LGBT history when one of the largest countries in the world has legalized gay marriage, a large portion of Europe has, and a few other countries, and having Disney on board would be absolutely crucial.

Also, I'd just like to say the "but what about the children!!!!" argument is total BS. The fact that the Disney Princess franchise is so accessible to children is exactly the reason we need representation, and now! Having little girls see actual representation of princesses they can look up to who are badass and kind and just so happen to also be LGBT would be so important and make such a difference in the community, and get rid of this stigma that has followed the LGBT community for so long.

Would this make the movie unaccessible to some people and also make Disney lose money? Yes and yes. But a company as large as Disney (I'm convinced they own half the world kwa now) needs to be a front runner in this fight to onyesha that people are people and upendo is love, and the overwhelming support it would get (and controversy) would in my opinion make it very successful, and go out to new groups who would never see a Disney Princess movie before. Yes, some countries would outlaw it, but that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be made. Disney can afford the loses, and the people that would be allowed to see it would gain so much from it.

So, of course the world isn't ready for Elsa to be lesbian--or any other Disney Princess for that matter, but I don't think that means they shouldn't. Like I said, the world is never ready to face controversial issues, but when wewe look back on them 50 years later you're like "really? that was controversial back then?" and I 100% believe that would be the case with this.

----

Thanks for kusoma and don't bother commenting if wewe disagree due to being homophobic--your opinion matters very little in my life and quite honestly I find wewe to be disgusting It's the twenty-first century, realize that LGBT+ people are people just like you. Also I don't have an opinion on the whole should Elsa be gay thing, this was zaidi to get my feelings across on the whole should Disney have an LGBT princess. Discussions are welcome in comments, but like I alisema if you're going to spread hate than please don't comment!<3

A little quickie makala on how I feel Moana would have been written if it was released pre-revival era. wewe know, before Disney became so OBSESSED with being subversive and different from their awali films.

Before I get into this, let me just tell y'all something, there's a difference between a cliche and convention. Having a upendo interest, a fully developed villain au a colorful cast of characters is not "cliche". Those are conventions, in other words, standard things that we've simply come to expect from certain genres of movies.

And if wewe really want to put some clever twist on these...

Afew days after the chajio, chakula cha jioni party, Pocahontas, John and Merida all went home. They hated leaving, but at the same time, they were ready to get back. It took a while for Pocahontas and John to get home, but they made it back safely. Luckily, it only took Merida about 3 1/2 days to get back. As soon as she did, she went straight to caring for her mother. The funny thing is, The Queen often urged for her daughter to take breaks and do something she loved like shooting her bow. Pocahontas wanted to help out with her people as much as she could, but she was also urged to take breaks. As for the Li's,...

Starting the countdown to my birthday with my least favorite princess Tiana
Today it's 13 days left until I turn 20 and there are 13 Disney Princesses so to make it less boring to wait I decided to do a countdown with a help of the Disney Princesses, each siku I'll make an ikoni and a collage of one of the princesses and write a "Why I Love" makala of that princess, it'll be in order from my least inayopendelewa princess to my inayopendelewa princess and on my birthday I'll do a Getting To Know makala with a picture of me and you'll decide if I look younger au older than 20 au if I look like 20

Anyway, even though Tiana is my least inayopendelewa Disney Princess I still upendo her

Night fall came like a bullet and the plan immediately went into motion. The men built the moto while the women prepared drinks. Mulan prayed this would go well. *This better not end in catastrophe!* she thought. She had no time to dwell on this. She HAD to focus. Once everyone was kwa the fire, the process of the plan began.

The posse of Marafiki had a dang good time too! They laughed and joked around. Mulan, Pocahontas and John enjoyed it while they could. When the moon was out, it was time for the plan to officially go to work. "I need to go in for a bit." John stated. "Me too. I need to write...
