So this was a topic that was brought up a couple weeks zamani that brought on a big debate. There were people who alisema a fat princess wouldn't be a good role model, that obesity kills people, that just because there's only thin princesses doesn't mean kids are going to worry about it, that the princesses have to be beautiful, etc.

I used to read a lot of vitabu and watch a lot of tv growing up, mostly Harry Potter and Disney. As much as I upendo the Harry Potter series and Disney movies, the way fat people are depicted is really upsetting. I mean there's Dudley who's described as being as fat as a baby orca and then there the comedy relief in Disney sinema who are fat half the time (Mr Smee, Gus, Le Fou, etc) au there's times where the ugly people are fat (Ursula).

I've been chubby all my life and I've been made fun of for the rolls on my stomach and I've had to deal with maoni about what I'd be eating. Half of the time it'd be from sisters and the other half from school. So seeing how fat people are depicted in media made me feel even worse about myself.

I know what some of wewe are going to say:
"I was made fun of for how I look but I didn't try to change anything about myself!"

Here's the thing though; everyone is different. wewe can be made fun of for being too skinny and still not try to change anything about yourself, wewe can be made fun of for being too fat and still not try to change anything about yourself. There's people with a lot of confidence, and there's people with almost no confidence.

"But an obese princess could encourage kids to be overweight!"

Not if done right! There are people who are fat who are still healthy, it just takes forever to lose weight. If we had a princess who was overweight and wasn't shown eating in every scene she's in au at least be eating healthy foods then that could help encourage kids to eat healthier. Also Idk about wewe guys but it's not like skinny people in sinema au vitabu are great role models when it came to eating healthier too. There's been characters who eat what they want and still not gain a pound, what does that tell kids?

Examples:

"I wanna stuff some chokoleti in my face"
"I wanna stuff some chokoleti in my face"

Almost every episode/movie these two are in they eat their weight in chakula
Almost every episode/movie these two are in they eat their weight in food

Fun fact: My husband is chubbier than me. He weighs a couple hundred pounds but he's not unhealthy. In fact he's healthier than I am. He goes on zaidi walks than me, works out more, eats better (sometimes I just don't eat au I eat something unhealthy) and he loses only a little weight at a time. Me? I could almost pass for thin but I don't have the same routine as him. I don't eat breakfast like him (he almost always eats oatmeal), I rarely go on walks with him, and most of my diet consists of sandwiches, chips, and chocolate. I'll eat something healthy every now and then but it's not as much as my husband.

"But obesity kills people!"

True but wewe know what else kills peope? Anorexia and bulimia

"Princesses have to be beautiful!"

Please don't think this way, it's hurtful. Not everyone fits into the idea of beauty, there's going to be some fat people wewe don't think is pretty just like there's going to be skinny people wewe don't think is pretty.

Also it's also not that hard to make animated women of all shapes and sizes be beautiful. There's beautiful animated fat women, buff women, and short women

According to each of my articles, wewe can conclude that I like the classics less than the modern ones. But still, that doesn't mean I HATE the classics, on the contrary, I do upendo them. They just pale in comparison to the moderns. My inayopendelewa classic and renaissance princesses are Ariel and Belle. I like these two, but it is a pity that they are inferior to modern ones.

Why I upendo Belle: Belle is my sixth inayopendelewa princess and I think she'll be the fifth to replace a modern. Moana doesn't seem as great to me anymore, so Moana is down to five, but she can swap places with Belle at any time. Belle...

I ilitumwa a kura ya maoni two weeks ago, and the kura ya maoni was like this:

"Scar vs. Dr. Facilier who is a better villain?"

And the result was Scar. In fact, the two villains have a lot of similarities. So much so that wewe may be surprised. However, I watched the two sinema back to back and now I see the incredible similarities between them.

SIMILARITY:

1- They both want to rule a place, Facilier is New Orleans and Scar is Pride Rocks.

2- Both do their evil kwa using someone else, Scar is the hyenas, and Facilier is his Marafiki on the other side.

3- Both of them died kwa their sidekicks. Scar was killed kwa hyenas,...

Elsa is my inayopendelewa Disney character. She can create snow and ice. Elsa has a lot of wonderful and similar dispositions to me. Today I am uandishi about characters who have similar snow powers to Elsa.

1- Om Nelle ( Cut the rope, super noms)
Om Nelle, who appears as Om Nom's wife in the Om Nom ( Cut the rope) cartoon, has powers similar to Elsa. Like Elsa, Om Nelle can create snow and, most of all, ice. But there are some changes. Elsa's powers are hers and they are innate. Om Nelle makes the ice with the stone of a tiara, the ukanda of a superhero. Without the crown, Om Nelle has no powers. Also,...

I actually wrote an makala similar to this one for Elsa the snow Queen club. But Elsa is forgotten here so I decided to write this article. (Normally I used to write an makala every day, but yesterday I couldn't because I was suffering from cutting my foot with blackberry thorns.) This makala explains why I upendo Elsa so much.

1- Relationship with Anna
Elsa's relationship with Anna is so sweet! Elsa reminds me of myself and Anna reminds me of my cheerful and impatient sister who wants me to be happy. I upendo Elsa's older sister's upendo for Anna.

2- Romance = zero
Hahaha! I know you're going to...

This time my makala will be a small guide. This guide will explain whether Disney princesses are born princesses au not. Don't forget to enjoy kusoma this guide ((:

1- Snow White- royal
Although Snow White is run like a maid kwa the evil queen, according to the movie, she is a princess. We can say that Snow White has Lost her royal title. This explains how she knows how to cook, clean and organize. When Snow White marries the prince, she becomes a princess again. There is already such a thing as justice, Snow White should have been a princess in the first place.

2- Cinderella- married

Raya and the Dragon is a Disney animated film that was released in 2021. Like with a lot of Disney animated films, it's been getting great reviews. Does it deserve that? Does it live up to the hype? That's what this review is about.

Plot:

Raya and the Last Dragon's plot is about people of different nations, who used to get along with each power, becoming rivals who fight over pieces of power. Raya's father dreamed of bringing peace to the nations, but it's Raya herself who will have to make that happen. It's up to her to find the last dragon, Sisu, and get her to bring peace to the world. Raya...

Hi guys, I just want to let wewe know that I got to see Mulan a few days zamani and like Beauty and the Beast. I have mixed feeling about this live action reboot, so here is my review on the movie that was postpone on numerous occasions due to the COVID-19.

The Story

I was really quite happy with a number of changes in the film, like we get to see Mulan's childhood zaidi like what we see in Cinderella. I am very happy that she has a sister to talk to, to which I will get to that part later on!
Secondly, she does provide comic relief while in the army along with the soldiers. Whom the latter did not...

I haven't been to the theaters much recently. So, I think it was Toy Story 4 last summer.

Scrooge McDuck <333

4. Which Disney owned franchise do wewe like more? (The Simpsons, Marvel, nyota Wars, etc) Why?

Just a heads up there's going to be a lot of sad personal stuff brought up so if wewe don't want to read this that's totally understandable.

Today's rewatch: Moana
Last time watched: July 6, 2017

How much did I like this movie when it came out?

I had some reservations about this movie because I didn't know for sure if it was going to be good especially since I hadn't seen too much stuff about it. But after hearing How Far I'll Go I knew I wanted to watch this movie even if it was just to hear that song on the big screen. My husband and I saw it for my birthday and even though the villain twist...

Of course, we all have our faves and we feel a certain way when our inayopendelewa princesses are getting criticized. For me, I do feel like Tiana gets quite a bit of flack, some deserved but some is quite overboard. For example, people call Tiana mean and even ruthless for simply doing what ray tells her kwa leaving him to fight off the shadows kwa himself but if she went against his orders, wewe know that would be yet another opportunity for people to call her condescending. So I'm just gonna counter some complaints against Tiana.

Human Tiana is zaidi likable than frog Tiana.
Not really gonna disagree...

Favorite Belle
O 4
R 3

Both versions of Belle are fine, but there is something about both of them that people upendo that makes them prefer one over the other. The people who picked original Belle grew up with Paige O'Hara's voice who put her moyo and soul in her role as Belle, and then the people who picked remake Belle like that she's an inventor. One user alisema they prefered original Belle because they didn't like Emma's uigizaji and compared to Paige Emma was pretty wooden and even with any positive changes made to her Belle bad uigizaji can ruin...

Tonight's rewatch: Frozen
Last time watched: 2014

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I was 20 going on 21 when this movie was released in theaters so I wasn't exactly a kid, zaidi like a kid at heart. I wasn't excited about this movie at the time and it didn't help when Disney released childrens vitabu that spoiled the plot, including the Hans spoilers,...

 I know I'm awesome
I know I'm awesome
I'm on a villain appreciation kick right now and since the blatant drainage of all the charisma from his character in the remake is still fresh in my memory I figured I'd give Gaston some props. Some people would call him a lame villain but I actually think he's really cool and these are some reasons why.

He's Hans from Frozen done right. Subversion of Disney trends is the name of the game in modern DP films, but like I've been saying, Disney Princess sinema have been subverting and reinventing themselves before Disney Princess even became a brand. In the Little Mermaid, the princess rescues...
