Thank wewe to everyone who participated in Princess of the Month! For November we celebrated Belle, so here's an makala on why we adore her:

Belle is my inayopendelewa princess, so I could wax eloquent concerning all the things I adore about her. In the interest of space, though, here is one thing I particularly upendo about her: her sense of self-worth. I don't feel like this is often talked about, but it's really inspiring to see her embrace her interests even in the face of constant ostracization from the townspeople. Everyone thinks she's weird and whispers behind her back, but despite this she knows it's not her personality that is the problem. Rather, she knows she just needs to find the right people who will accept her for who she is. I upendo this sense of self-confidence she has in herself. She doesn't let the bastards grind her down. ~MaidofOrleans

She is an avid reader. Since I also tended to walk down the mitaani, mtaa kusoma a book in the past that makes her very relatable to me. ~Swanpride

I upendo that she's not afraid to stand up for herself au the people she loves, especially her "crazy old" father. Belle's relationship with Maurice is probably my inayopendelewa thing about her; the townspeople mock Maurice because they think he's crazy and instead of being embarrased Belle defends her father from the very start and when he's locked up in Beast's dungeon she offers herself up to take his place even after seeing what the Beast looked like. I could go on and on about how much I upendo Belle and Maurice's relationship but I don't want to take up too much space for the makala :P ~BB2010

I identify myself as her, mainly because I like to read and travel! ~deedragongirl

I upendo how she is very relatable to me. As a bookworm and someone who feels like they can be an outcast at times, she is my most relatable Disney Princess in terms of the situation ~LMH5113

Hope wewe all enjoyed POTM this month! I won't be posting anything until December since I am going out of town, but stay tuned for who won POTM for December. :)
Welcome to the 2nd Princess Personality article! Like the awali makala about Belle's personality, this one about Snow White is still using the MBTI assessment.

SNOW WHITE IS...

1. Extraverted link

Extraverts often:
Have high energy
Talk zaidi than listen
Think out loud
Act, then think
Like to be around people a lot
Prefer a public role
Can sometimes be easily distracted
Prefer to do lots of things at once
Are outgoing & enthusiastic

Although Snow White was without human companion under her stepmother's wicked rule, she had plenty of animal friends. In fact, Snow White was always surrounded...

Many people think Mulan (the movie) has the best nukuu of all princess movie, that and the fact it is Mulan mwezi gave me idea to start such countdown. In the beginning, there were about 70 nukuu I thought are important , I included about 40 in countdown and here are the best ten.

Out of these ten:
2 are from Shang
2 are from Fa Zhou
2 are from Emperor
and 4 are from Mulan

10. "Ping, wewe are the craziest man I've ever met, and for that I owe wewe my life. From now on, wewe have my trust" by Shang

This is alisema after Mulan saved Shang and finally earned honor and respect for her deeds.However...

Aladdin: So here we were, early 1990's, and the Disney Renaissance was at its peek. The studios had produced two of the highest grossing animated films of all time and still were pushing on. However the team suffered a tragic loss with the death of lyricist Howard Ashman who surprisingly had had a large amount of creative input on the awali two films. (He named Ariel) It was even his idea to make the inayofuata Disney animated feature, Aladdin released on November 25, 1992. However, much to the disappointment of many, this would be the last picture to showcase a royal fairytale princess for the...

Hello everybody, I just wanted to inform that this makala is completely my personal option. There is absolutely no need to have a hissy fit if my opinion doesn’t conform to yours. Feel free to maoni what your own ranking is if wewe wish. Anyways, let’s get on with this ranking.

#14 Merida

“I’m a boy with long hair.”
“I’m a boy with long hair.”

Merida is one of the most hideous animated females ever. She just screams ugly, unfeminine and manliness. She is the epitome of what’s wrong with strong female characters (or just females in general). Her head shape is hideous and makes her look...

Hi!
I'm a huge shabiki of Rick Riordan's books, and I thought this would be an interesting idea! First of all, let me explain wewe a bit: there are 20 cabins in Camp Half-Blood, each of them belongs to a god, and their demigod children live in their respective cabins. For example, Percy Jackson belongs in cabin, kibanda #3 because he's a son of Poseidon, and Annabeth Chase belongs to cabin, kibanda #6 since her mother is Athena. The 20 cabins are:
#1 – Zeus (king of the gods)
#2 – Hera (goddess of marriage and fidelity)
#3 – Poseidon (god of the sea)
#4 – Demeter (goddess of nature)
#5 – Ares (god of war)
#6 –...

 Different faces, different personalities
Different faces, different personalities
We all upendo Disney princesses, don’t we? So Seasons are also like them, they are really different from each other and each one of them at least has a good trait. I recently developed an interest of uandishi makala on Disney princess symbolism. Thanks to the people who viewed my makala recently and loved them! Hope wewe all enjoy!
Snow white – Spring
Yes! For me the princesses in spring category are kind, resourceful, pure, obedient, self-reserved, matured and somewhat innocent. I like the Spring people. Traits au qualities tell she’s a spring person. She always likes to keep the room...

1. The outside of the palace is inspired kwa the Taj Mahal.

2. The word "Agra" is in the name Agrabah. Agra is a city in INDIA.

3. Rajah is a tiger. Tigers are a symbol of INDIA.

4. Lotus fountains (like the one we see when we're first introduced to Jasmine) are an Indian thing.

5. "Abu" is an Indian name.

People complaining about Naomi being cast as jimmy, hunitumia because she's Indian need to educate themselves.

If wewe want a version of Aladin with jimmy, hunitumia being played kwa a Middle Eastern woman, then major in film and get a film degree. It's not Disney's job to please you.

As for the people complaining...

A fair number of Disney Princess DVDs were released in the early 2000's, and the series I'm most familiar with is the Princess Party line. To my knowledge, there were just two installments, both of which I apparently still own! These DVDs feature Disney Princess-related games, activities, and stories with the goal of helping to create a memorable DP-themed party for young girls. I first rented this disk from Blockbuster about a decade zamani just to check out the games, so I have a bit of nostalgia for it. But how well does the content on the DVD hold up? Let's take a look!

DVD Features

Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and today I present my fourth song analysis. This time though (somewhat similar to my "Reflection" analysis), I'll be comparing two songs -- "So This is Love" and "Dancing on a Cloud," both of which come from Disney's Cinderella. "Dancing on a Cloud," the deleted song, was written with the intent of doing what "So This is Love" later did -- to onyesha how cinderella and the prince fell in upendo with each other at the ball. While the two seem similar at first, further examination shows that the two are a bit different, and it gives a better understanding of why "Dancing...

 The good ol' baddies
The good ol' baddies
Well, it's time for another makala here in Scarletland! I admit, I had this need for wanting to make another makala again, but I didn't know of what subject to make of. Then browsing around the Internet, the inspiration struck me: I could write about Disney villains! Genius! Because that subject isn't trite and overdone at all! (/sarcasm)

Jokes aside, I've been these last days thinking and analyzing the Disney villains zaidi than usual (that is; I almost never think about them, so this was really unusual for me). Villains are essential for many of these movies, because if it weren't for them...

Saw an old swali ilitumwa from a mwaka zamani that inspired me to write this. The swali was about which Disney Princesses might make best friends, in pairs, based on commonalities. As I started to think about it, I found all of the commonalities to be quite interesting. So I decided to post my findings of commonalities (not go for the BFF route) just because I found it interesting what the princesses had so much in common. Hope wewe guys do too:

Snow & Aurora:
Both were royal but fled to the forest to escape their villains. Both were put under a sleeping spell. Both like to dance and initiate...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this makala ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in maarufu culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...
