In 2013 Frozen took the world kwa (ice) storm, it was everywhere. Let it Go played on the radio constantly, wewe couldn't go to a store without seeing Frozen merch, everyone was talking about it, many thought it was one of Disney's best sinema in a long time.

Then the backlash began...

People got sick of all the Frozen after a while, even now there's still Frozen all over the place and people tend to roll their eyes when someone even mentions Frozen. The thing is, nothing about the movie au characters had changed, it was still a good movie with a decent soundtrack, interesting characters, and beautiful animation. But with all the hype it had gotten...yeeeeah Disney really milked this Frozen cow.

When Disney announced a Frozen 2 there were some mixed reactions; groans from people who were tired of sequels and Frozen and cheers from people who hoped they would finally learn how Elsa got her powers *cough*andgetagirlfriend*cough*. When Frozen 2 came out of course tons of people went to see it and after waiting almost a month, avoiding the spoilers best I could, hearing Into the Unknown several times and how great this movie was I finally saw it and...well...here's my thoughts.

Pros:

In this movie we got to see zaidi of the sisters with their parents in a zaidi positive way, with the scene taking place before the "incident". Elsa and Anna play with snow figurines, the King tells a story about the Enchanted forest, and the Queen (who now has zaidi lines) sings a lullaby to the sisters. The parents are mainly remembered for making the rashi decision of locking Elsa up and keeping her away from people, including Anna, for years so it was nice to see zaidi scenes of them with their daughters.

We got to see even zaidi of Elsa and Anna together, having barely seen them together in the first movie, seeing them celebrate Anna's birthday together in Frozen Fever, and a few short scenes in Olaf's Frozen Adventure. We see them playing charades, talking more, and Anna sings their mother's lullaby to Elsa to help her go to sleep. This is something I wish we could have actually seen in Frozen to even justify the fandom's belief that Frozen was the go-to "sister movie" *cough*LiloandStitch*cough* (sorry, just getting over a cold)

The uhuishaji for this movie was beautiful, especially the ice magic, the way the leaves moved, and the purple pinkish flames. I think my inayopendelewa uhuishaji sequence had to have been Into the Unknown when Elsa's magic danced around and took on different forms. My sekunde inayopendelewa was onyesha Yourself when Elsa's dress was changed similar to how her signature blue dress was created in the first movie.

Olaf's brief recap of the first movie had me laughing hard, not gonna lie.

Yay, we saw marshmallow and the little snowmen from Frozen Fever again!

Cons:

The twist about the Queen's past was so completely out of nowhere and makes almost no sense; for one thing, the little girl we've been seeing in the trailers looks nothing like how the Queen looked au even Elsa au Anna who are supposed to be the spitting picha of their mother. And the fact that she saved the King and then just left her nyumbani without hesitating? What about her family? How is it the people recognized the scarf and yet not discuss the young Queen at all? And what did the young Queen do after moving to the kingdom? Where did she go? Did she live with the King? Probably not because later in the movie when Elsa is watching "the past" we catch a glimpse of the King and the Queen as adults and she's telling him where she's from.

Olaf in the first movie was funny, his one liners could get a chuckle out of a lot of people. In this movie he's just stating bila mpangilio facts and I barely chuckled at his jokes au his lines. I can understand his need to spout bila mpangilio facts because, for one thing, he's only 3 years old and he's learning how to read and how to write. When young children learn things like Olaf did they tend to spout bila mpangilio facts and whatever else they learned. But in this movie, it just Lost its charm after a while. And his song just put the movie in a grinding halt. While in the first movie it was charming and cute and funny and it was about a recently built Olaf wanting to see what summer was like and feel the sun on his snowy face. In Frozen 2, it was just him randomly imba about how things would make zaidi sense when he was older and honeslty it probably would have worked better in a short than in the actual movie.

Kristoff wanting to propose to Anna was an overdone and predictable story. There was the miscommunication, the constant failed attempts, and the arguments. Disney, come on, I thought wewe were better than that.

As great as it was that we got majibu about how Elsa got her powers it just raised zaidi questions; Why did Elsa get frozen? What exactly was the Voice? Was it the spirits? Her mother? How could Elsa have been the 5th element if she wasn't even born yet? Etc.

While it's understandeable why Elsa kept Anna and Olaf from coming with her, why did Anna and Olaf talk about feeling upset about what happened and have it go nowhere? Why couldn't Anna talk to Elsa about how she felt about that?

What was Kristoff on when he decided to do an 80's muziki video?

I loved the moto spirit but I was disappointed about how he got the Pua treatment; advertised a lot and on a lot of merch but then barely in the movie.

While I sometimes forget about half of Frozen's soundtrack, I can barely remember zaidi than a handful of Frozen 2's soundtrack. I remember humming Let it Go and For the First Time in Forever the night I saw Frozen 6 years zamani but right now the only songs I remember at the juu of my head is the Queen's lullaby, Into the Unknown, onyesha Yourself, and Kristoff's song but the only reason I remember that last one is because of the reindeer drug trip.

Anna becoming Queen just felt so out of nowhere, there was no real discussion for it. I get that Elsa wanted to look after the forest and we know she and Anna still saw each other but still though, why make Anna becoming Queen such an out of nowhere and rushed thing?

The fact that we find out the guards and the villagers were trapped in the woods at war with each other for over 30 years and yet learn almost nothing about them was so dumb. We barely got any backstory on them and we never learned how the guards got left behind while the young King was able to make it nyumbani unconscious.

How was the dam hurting the forest and the spirits?

So was this movie as good as Frozen? Honestly, from a Frozen fan...no. As excited as I was to see Frozen 2, especially with my older sister after we had just spent Halloween dressed as Elsa and Anna, I felt so...bored. I saw Frozen in theaters 3 times and watched it many zaidi times on dvd without getting bored (save for the last time I watched it a couple months ago) but this movie just feels one and done for me. This movie had interesting ideas that could have been fleshed out zaidi but were instead rushed and left zaidi maswali than answers. I still upendo Frozen but I'm thinking I'm just going to avoid this sequel. On a scale of 1-10, I give this movie a 3/10

But I will say this...Frozen 2 was much better than Ralph Breaks the Internet
I had inspiration to write this makala because of a dream I had a couple years ago. I dreamed there was a map of the world, and points on the map. At the points, is where a Disney story took place. For example, in India, was The Jungle Book.

So I wonder, where does each story take place? Well, not everyone knows for sure, but here are some I guess where each takes place. (I'm only doing Disney Princesses)

1. Snow White
Snow White is really a dark story and takes place in dark times. I believe it takes place in early, middle age time, England. Around the 1400's. I think this because in the...

So I thought I'd take a break from the official princesses and find actresses for the non official ones, the four main ones. Giving each of them a juu five orodha is too much work so I just chose the best actress for each forgotten princess.

Esmeralda-Mila Kunis
One of the most respected actresses in the industry right now. Mila can definitely pull off playing a headstrong but beautiful leading lady. Plus she's got the same exotic features as Esme. Adriana Lima would also be a good choice, but there's abit of a language barrier.

Megara-Olivia Wilde
She plays a somewhat similar role in...

Disney Princess Award
Author’s Note: Here is the third part of my first shabiki fiction. I am sorry for the time it take to write the inayofuata part. I will try to make faster. Here, it continues the distribution of the awards. I added zaidi fun because some mashabiki say that it is not that interesting as they thought and it went straight to the point. If wewe see that not that interesting, I am sorry. It is my first shabiki fiction and my first story made of myself. If wewe have suggestions to make this shabiki fiction zaidi fun, please put in the comments. I would take great opinions and added to the inayofuata article. I hope that wewe like...

My inayofuata interview is a very private affair and it is with the characters from Disney’s Aladdin. jimmy, hunitumia it seems has some very strict requests and everything has to be just so au the interview will be canceled. I am to interview them in one of Jasmines sitting rooms and the only people allowed are me, Aladdin, and Jasmine….but there we will be two Guards stationed at the door and Genie is going to make a brief appearance later and he will be bringing Jafar and Iago (Jasmine alisema I am only allowed to ask them one swali each). Abu, the Sultan, and magic carpet have to go elsewhere, but...

Disney Princesses have some of the prettiest clothes ever, and here's a orodha of the ones that I think are the best on each one.

10. Tiana
Well, I'm not a huge shabiki of Tiana's clothes. Probably my inayopendelewa outfit on her is her green dress in the forest wedding. The color is lovely and it has a pretty shape. What kills it for me is the EXTREME PUFFINESS of it. It's just so huge I would HATE to walk around in that. It does make her figure look very flattering though. My least inayopendelewa outfit of her's would be her white wedding dress. Yupp, some people seem to like this one but I for one, think it's...

I know that most people don’t like Snow White, they either don’t like the princess au the movie au even both. I’m not going to try to change anyone’s opinion about this movie but I am going to try and point out what makes this movie important and hopefully I may persuade a few to change their minds.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was Disney’s first movie was premiered December 21, 1937. It was a huge hit and quickly Disney became known around the U.S.A. kwa its widespread release in 1938 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs earned four times zaidi money than any other movie released that...

Someone in the Disney merchandise department seems to have decided that Belle’s maua, ua is the rose – a decision I don’t really agree with. Yes, I know, the rose is featured very prominently in the movie. But it’s not really a symbol for Belle; it’s a symbol the need of the Beast to find true love. Which is, btw, the meaning of red roses: True Love. Seeing Belle as the rose, she would be symbolically under glass for the whole movie, and that doesn’t suit her character at all. In fact, shortly after the Beast puts the glass over his rose possessively, Belle flees from the castle....

All right, here's the results of the Favourite Pocahontas Character Countdown! And also my first article, so take a look at the results and (hopefully) enjoy!

15. Ratcliffe
The bad guy of the movie proves to be the least favourite character of most fanpoppers too. Not surprising, considering he isn't one of the most powerful villains in Disney history. He's just greedy and doesn't understand the Indians. Nothing that makes wewe hide behind the kitanda with your hands over your eyes.

Alright, confession time: I set out to do this role model countdown with a certain level of zeal that I'm sure surprised some of you, but truth be told: it's part of some deeper research I've been working on for a while.
As many of you, I'm a student of both film and feminism, and I'm particularly fascinated kwa how women are portrayed and have evolved in Disney animation. I've been researching and uandishi about my findings with Disney and feminism for a while, but I wanted to see what wewe GUYS, the devoted fans, see in your inayopendelewa (or least favorite) heroines. Are they truly good role models?...

This idea sort of hit me in the face whilst I was doodling in the back of my French book on Tuesday when I should have been doing a listening exercise about someone wanting to be a doctor. What if Ariel didn't want our world for our junk, taka and our legs but our marvellous food? That underwater stuff must be dead gross.
I actually started uandishi this around a doodle of fat Ariel, but yeah. My French book's at school so improvisation time!

Basically, fat Ariel has gained a lot of weight recently and her father has forbidden her from eating any zaidi of this awful barbaric human junk. He's put her...

10.The Chinese Recruits vs. Themselves
What can be said? This is a hilarious battle that poor Mulan started that resulted in a big pile up at the end. But it's not a serious battle, nor is it significant to the movie in any way. It's just a fun little fight.

And the person who was really persistent to eliminate this one is: TigerRanma, so I gonna include some of her maoni for this one.

9.Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
Finally, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves gets last place. I'm sick of it winning first place everytime. This film is so overrated and overappreciated.

.....Most people alisema Snow White's voice was annoying and the songs were bad. That's all I have to say. I refuse to write any zaidi hatred about this film. From now on whenever I write makala I'm just automatically going to put Snow White last, au not even bother including it in countdowns, as it's going to lose anyway.

9.Snow White: last as always. People don’t really like her hair “black as ebony tree” probably because of its shortness. Although cute, her hair can’t really compare to others because there’s not much to do with, can’t make any hairdo of it, it can’t float on wind and it always looks like mass of something, not hair.
