*** Tangled SPOILER ALERT***

Ok, I haven't written an makala in a couple of months, so I decided I might as well write one now. And the best topic I imagined to be my inayopendelewa scene is each DP movie. So enjoy :)

SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS

My inayopendelewa scene is the one, where the dwarfs are rushing towards their house in order to save Snow White from the Queen, while in the same time the hag and Snow White talk about wishes and apples. I find this scene really amazing, because of all the action and all the emotions: dwarfs are scared that Snow White might be harmed, Snow White is Enchanted kwa the idea that this apple will help her live happily ever after with her prince and the Queen is barely able to hide her anticipation and cruelness.

CINDERELLA

My inayopendelewa scene in cinderella is the one in which the glass slipper fits her. Classic scene! Good wins against evil and cinderella finally gets her happy ending. Also the look on lady Tremaine's face is priceless...

SLEEPING BEAUTY

In Sleeping Beauty I upendo the scene where Phillip is in a dungeon and Maleficent comes to talk to him about his future and about Aurora. First of all Maleficent is my inayopendelewa character in the movie, I find her way zaidi interesting than Aurora. The way she talks to Phillip in that scene is so poetic and enchanting. But in the same time perfectly cruel, because she's teasing him. She was not planning to let him out of her prison for years and years, and therefore he would never have been happy with Aurora if it wasn't for the three good fairies.

THE LITTLE MERMAID

Even though in the last couple of months I started liking Ariel less and less, still my inayopendelewa scene in the movie is the "Part of Your World" bit. I don't like Ariel's personality, neither her voice, but I upendo how graceful she is in the water and I really like the lyrics. ujumla, jumla the whole scene is beautifully drawn.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

God, I upendo most scenes in this movie. But if I have to pick a favorite, it would be the Beast death and transformation scene. It is so emotional, beautiful and the score is amazing. Fantastic scene, one of my all-time inayopendelewa animated scenes!

ALADDIN

My inayopendelewa scene in Aladin is "A Whole New World". I upendo the scene because from one side it is so romantic and magical, but in the same time it is fast-paced and energetic. Moreover a magic carpet ride is what I call a perfect date. My Marafiki used to laugh at me, because every time we talked about boys and dates I used to say I want someone hot and handsome to take me on a magic carpet ride. This was basically my dream tarehe lol :D But anyway, the scene is gorgeous and really makes wewe wish wewe could fly too :)

POCAHONTAS

Even though the movie is somewhat boring, there is one scene I find amazing, and it is one of my inayopendelewa animated scenes ever! And this is the Finale. The music, the sadness, the hard choice to stay au to live, the strength to let go someone wewe upendo endlessly... This is the scene in which I absolutely adore Pocahontas and I admire her for her courage. Best Disney ending ever!

MULAN

So, I watched Mulan just recently and I discovered it is a lot better than I remembered it to be. It is funny, original, exciting and YES! GIRL POWER! But the scene I like the most is the Mulan's Decision one. She's Fa's only child, she's a woman in a time period, when any woman has hardly any rights... Yet she had the courage and selflessness to go in the army in her father's place. In this scene people can see how much her family means for her and how much she is ready to sacrifice for them. The score during this scene is also absolutely brilliant. SO EPIC!

THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG

Hmmmm, this is probably the hardest one for me, just because none of the scenes in the movie impressed me much. I was actually quite bored while I was watching it. I guess I'll go with charlotte and fake Naveen's scene in the garden. I really like charlotte (she's the only thing I like about the movie) and her flirting with the handsome prince was refreshing. In the same time fake Naveen's trying to play his role, as the magic loses its power was kind of pathetic and unfortunately not that funny... ujumla, jumla the scene was ok...

TANGLED

Much in the style of Beauty and the Beast the prince dies and then comes back to life. I really liked the scene and I found it sad, even though I was certain that Disney won't permanently kill Flynn. (Just a side note - Lol, there was a little girl in the cinema, who started crying when he died, I really wanted to tell her he's going to live :P) Anyway, the nukuu "You were my new dream" "And wewe were mine" are epic and really touching! This death and resurrection scene is emotional and sweet and sad in the same time.

I dedicate this poem to all of you, who like myself, still believe. I upendo wewe all!

We’ve been fascinated with them since we were little girls.
Back when we wore our hair in ribbons and curls.
We longed to go to a fancy ball and wear a pretty dress.
Now our lives are full of worry and stress.
All we wanted was to be like the Princess in our inayopendelewa story,
A place filled with nothing but glory.
A place where true loves kiss can break the most evil of spells.
A land of happily ever afters and wedding bells.
Where the glass slipper always fits,
And a handsome Prince who finds it easy to commit.
It’s...

Sleeping Beauty was released on January 29, 1959 and was made due to the overwhelming success of Cinderella. Therefor the Disney Studios got right to work revisiting the fairy tale formula and developing a new version of the classic story. It was decided early on that this film would have to surpass its predecessing fairy tale films.
