This one is over a mwezi late but I have reasons! 1. I kept forgetting 2. I had some personal stuff going on and I had personal reasons to not want to watch this movie for a while after watching the first one. But this movie and Ariel's Beginning are way overdue at the maktaba so it's now au never and get even zaidi fines.

Today's rewatch: The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea
Last time watched: 2015

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
Since I loved The Little Mermaid when I was little, of course I was really excited to watch Return to the Sea and when I finally did watch it I might not have...

Something I've often alisema in the past is one of the scariest type of villain is one that could exist in real life like Frollo, Bellweather, Lady Tremaine, and Mother Gothel. Gaston is definitely a villain that deserves to be on this list.

Some people will say he's too silly to be a scary villain au just isn't scary enough until the climax of the movie. But some people who have had to deal with their own Gastons in life will say differently.

First off, it's made pretty clear from the beginning that Gaston is a bully who has most likely never been told "no" and therefore can never take it for...

Okay I have this movie on blu-ray and dvd so I don't even have an excuse for being late on putting this makala up except maybe this; I don't like this movie as much as I used to...

Tonight's rewatch: Beauty and the Beast 2017 remake
Last time watched: 2017

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I watched this movie as an adult but I still like to think I'm a kid at heart. So if you've read my makala for Beauty and the Beast, wewe know I have a huge upendo for Beauty and the Beast, for nostalgia reasons and because I just upendo the movie. So when I watched the trailer for this movie I felt so much...

So I'm going to be really honest with you. After watching Pocahontas 2 and Mulan 2 I really really really really don't want to watch this movie. That's why it took me so long to watch it and write this makala and the reason I'm only just now doing it is because I borrowed this movie from the maktaba almost 2 weeks zamani and I have to return it tomorrow.

Tonight's rewatch: Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas
Last time watched: 2000-2006

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
When I was little I loved this movie. Every mwaka I used to pop this movie into the vcr (remember those?) and watch...

I shall begin this makala unconventionally, kwa speaking of something personal. This mwaka has been very rough for me in a lot of ways. The roughness has impacted every single sphere of my life, from my finances, to my job, to my upendo life (which remains laughable), and to my very health. I have been really sick. I relate to the Aladin of the 1992 film, even zaidi so now, than when I first shook his hand in 1992. I relate to being constantly dirt poor, scared out of my mind, living siku to siku on the edge of the precipice, and skirting kwa through just the slimmest of margins. Every siku is starting...

Tonight's rewatch: Both Frozen shorts
Last time watched: 2018

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
Like Frozen, these shorts came out in my 20s so I wasn't a kid but like I alisema before, I'm a kid at heart! I was hesitant to watch both shorts because I kept hearing a lot of Frozen haters call these shorts cash cows and alisema the holiday special was boring. I hardly heard anything positive about both shorts. I watched Frozen Fever about a week au two after it premiered and I loved it and I finally watched Olaf's Frozen Adventure around krisimasi time last mwaka and, again, loved it!

Why I love...

I Know Why the Princess Sings
I Know Why the Princess Sings
Just as cinderella graciously bids good morning with such romantic fervor, Snow White sends well wishes that are not unlike the dreams of upendo and hope Aurora has sung of before. While Belle muses of the great wide beyond her poor provincial place and jimmy, hunitumia bemoans her gilded palace cage, the restless twain are armed with the familiar faith Tiana holds to as she prays her labors and pains will kubeba matunda someday. Facing profound confliction, Mulan ponders upon her contrasting reflection just as Pocahontas meditates on which path is true to imitate. Sure as light, Elena's valor takes flight...

Those were the good old days!
Those were the good old days!
Hi guys, remember that I wrote about the Westlife a few months ago. So now, it's their American counterpart N*Sync's turn as to what songs the princesses would upendo to listen and serenade it with their respective princes!

1. Someday, Somewhere

The 3 princesses will dance and sing with their princes, hoping that they will meet each other one day!

2. Thinking of wewe (I Drive Myself Crazy)

Since the accident, Eric could not stop thinking of Ariel. So, it could serve as a duet for the couple.

3. muziki Of My Heart/ It's Gonna Be Me

Considering that Belle is involve in a upendo triangle, Gaston and the...

PART ONE: link

I spent the night wandering the streets, using the moon as my guide. I’d follow it anywhere partly because I left without a real plan. Any regret au fear I had, I overcame it with my excitement and curiosity for this world beyond the palace walls. I never realized there were so many merchants around.
“A pretty mkufu for a pretty lady!”
I backed away and almost bumped into a man with a sword in his mouth. We had entertainers come to the palace who would kumeza their sword. I always looked away. I couldn’t imagine the entertainment...
