Ariel is lovely, and is extremely determinded. But I hear that so often, it sometimes sounds like a shield for some of the reckless things she does. It's not that Ariel isn't determinded, or smart, I just am kind of tired of hearing it so often. Ariel is more of a character than just determination. She's creative, and impulsive, and brave and curious. I feel people forget that sometimes.

^Definitely agree on Ariel there. I think some know how I feel about Pocahontas already but yeah, it's not to bash anyone.

Agree with Animated_Paint about Ariel's though.
Pocahontas though, idek I love her to bits and I always have but she's not really as wise as everyone says she is, and she's too distant from people to really care for them the way everyone says she does.

I know thats the only thing to say about her but I wish there was more.

I 100% agree with Animated_Paint. Ariel is definitely determined (which is a good thing) but I feel like people sometimes use her determination as an excuse for her bad decisions. Just because she has the drive to do things it doesn't make her actions any better.

Ariel is very determined but she is determined to do something in smart. Of course she is determined to becoming human and that is great but it is kind of a half and half for me because what she did was brave but not smart. She gave up the whole sea knowing Ursula is evil for a dude that she doesn't know if he is good or not. So most likely it won't be worth it for the reasons that a) Eric could not be a good guy and kill her (it's happened before), b) She doesn't kiss Eric in time and they lose or c) Ursula could've put a catch to the contract without ariel knowing. So yes, I am not tired of hearing ariel is determine but I am tired of hearing ariel is smart. But at least it is not like the aurora thing.

In my opinion, elegant is not a personality trait and people just don't want to say anything negative about her since she is a classic princess. They use the lame excuse of give the classics a chance. Well, I personally don't agree. Elegant and classy are not personality traits. They use that as a reason to love her. Well. Just don't see how that could be a reason. It is their opinion, but. Just think people just try to find things to say about her personality because she is a classic. Plus, I don't even think she is pretty. She looks so messed up

I agree with what everybody said about Ariel. She's determined, that's for sure. But she never does anything smart, and I her fans are not really objective about that.

I actually think Ariel is actually stupid (Hello! She's been warned on how evil Ursula is, yet she still goes over to her)

Auora however had NO personality and her looks are so OVERRRATED! She's in my bottom 2 of the prettiest princess

^^^I SO AGREE! I thought I was the only one who thinks that about aurora! She is not pretty and is completely overrated in looks first of all. Her looks just bore me! Mainly because of her ugly color combo and her oddly shaped features. Pointy chin and triangular shaped face, very odd eyebrows that look like they were drawn with a marker, pointy nose, big pointy changing colored eyes, grayish bleach blonde hair, cartoony curls, stuck together strands, ugly bangs, pink skin, ugh! I can go on forever!

Her personality is also nothing. I can't find a single word to describe her other then unrealistically blank. People try using the words elegant, classy, calm, and relaxed to describe her when they don't realize that elegant and all the other words used to describe her personality aren't really personality traits and are basically all the same. Plus, they just try looking for ways to praise aurora because she is a classic princess and that supposedly means we can't make a single negative comment against her and we give every classic princess an excuse for being cliché. In my opinion, aurora is not complex at all and is not very pretty

It was difficult because none of them bothers me in the slightest, I wish we heard them more often! In the end it was the "most beautiful" part that swayed me. My next choice would be Ariel for what everyone already said.
