I'm not a huge fan of this dress's shoulder line, and while it's a gorgeous color the way her skirt is ruffled doesn't sit all that well with me. posted zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita.

It was obviously just made to be a thing in the 80's, the puffy sleeves, just, ugh! It's all just so repulsive. I appreciate that they paid homage to the classic princesses' dresses by adding a bit from each of them onto Ariel's dress, but the result was not very pretty. It wouldn't even be that bad if not for those marshmallow sleeves! They work on Snow White because her arms are less thin and she has no long sleeves attached. Her green dress in the redesign is gorgeous and flattering. I mean, first--- it's a direct ripoff of Tinker Bell's dress for the bodice--- then big ballooning skirts comprised of leaves. The result is tacky. I mean, they could have been way more inventive than that! I also hate Tiana's crown. What's up with the antennae? Is she now an insect of some kind? Also the color green DOES NOT LOOK GOOD against Tiana's dark skin. People complain of Ariel's red hair and a pink dress? Well, it's the same here with Tiana in a green dress. UGH! And the color is boring and drab, it's not really a pink, if it was suppose to be the animators did horrible. And the dress unlike Tiana's that went perfectly with the mood you were suppose to feel and scenery, this dress didn't match at all. 	BraBrief picked Tiana's green kanzu, kanzu, gown: I'm with few people who like Ariel's pink gown. I think it isn't so bad and it doesn't deserve all these criticisms. Yes, the shoulder pads are puffy but there are also many Disney outfits with shoulder pads like these and people like them anyway. In my opinion the design is very nice and elegant, and red hair/pink dress is a good combination (after all, pink color derives from the red).
