I LOVE Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's music, but the movie itself drags every time "Belle and Adam" share the screen together. The main protagonists are both boring, and they kind of lack chemistry for me ( compared to Jane and Tarzan and Ariel and Eric). Besides, La Belle et La Bete ( 2014) is much closer to the original story of B and the B, and I like the visuals and the intense atmospheric quality in that film far more than in Disney's version. Plus, that movie was made in France...so, there is something to be said for "truly conveying" the accuracy of the setting.

Plus, I'm a Quentin Tarantino fan.
