I NEED HELP!!!

It has to be saved on ur computer and once it's types push browse click on it's name type ur label u want 2 call it ex. Story ch 1 and push save.

Once you've signed in to ffnet and have gone into the document manager (under publish), the inayofuata step is to pakia the chapter wewe are trying to submit kwa clicking on 'browze', selecting the chapter file and clicking on 'open' (be sure to have each chapter saved on your computer as a separate document -- most readers find it zaidi difficult to read a multichaptered story that has been uploaded as one chapter). Name your chapter in the section above called 'label'. Click 'submit document'.

You'll see the document loaded, and this is the time to click 'edit/preview' to check that everything has loaded properly (ffnet can't always process certain symbols and lines, so wewe can fix this - possibly with an alternative - here). Remember to save once you've edited (at the bottom of the page)!

Now you're going to either click on 'new story' au 'manage stories' (underneath 'doc manager' on the left). wewe may have to read the guidlines before wewe can submit anything (just a quick glance will do) and click on 'yes, I have read and agreed to the content guidlines' at the bottom of the page. Once you've done that, select 'new story' again.

In 'new story' wewe will first select your sort type (normal/crossover), then your category. Click 'continue'. Now you'll get to the page where wewe make the title/summary/etc. Make sure wewe fill everything in. At the bottom it'll ask wewe to select a document to submit. When wewe click this wewe will see the document wewe uploaded in your doc manager ready to be submitted. Now, publish your story!

If you're adding a chapter to a story you've previously submitted, you'll go to 'manage stories' on the left. Select the name of the story wewe want to update and it will take wewe to a page similar to the one wewe encountered when submitting a new story. At the juu of the page you'll see four options: 'properties', 'content/chapters', 'live preview', 'download/backup'. Select 'content/chapters'. Under 'add new chapter', click 'submit document' and select your inayofuata chapter file. Click 'add chapter'.

And there wewe have it, all of the steps laid out! :) This took me quite a while to figure out myself when I was first starting out - but you'll get used to it pretty quickly!

I understand the problem completly! It took me ages to work it out! And even longer to work out how to update! Now, first wewe have to pakia the file. wewe click on 'Doc Manager'. Find the bit where it says 'Upload New Document'. The box labelled 'Label' is what wewe want the uploaded document to be called (not what the published fic will be called. For example, if it is a multichapter fic wewe cant label it 'Chapter 1'). Under that is the 'Browse' button. Click on that and a small window will appear. wewe then just have to find your fil from where wewe saved it (my guess is that it will be in 'Documents')
