(Mike and Tina stepped in the room as Brittany performed with the Cheerios.)
Mike: This looks so awesome. Brittany did an amazing job.
Tina: The room looks so beautiful. I'm so glad I came tonight.
Mike: Let's go find Mercedes and Sam.
(As Brittany's song continues, Finn and Quinn enter the room. Quinn seemed pretty happy, and wearing one of her inayopendelewa prom dresses from the prom catalogue: a long, purple dress with sequins on the spaghetti, tambi straps, and white and silver high heels. She couldn't walk yet, but she felt proud enough to be at prom tonight.)
Quinn (to Finn): We're finally here, Finn. It's the moment of our lives.
Finn: I can't wait either, Quinn.
Quinn: So we'll party with our friends, have a good time, and get our prom royalty crowns.
Finn (smiling): Awesome.
(The rest of the students are watching Brittany and the Cheerios dancing in sparkly white dresses.)
Brittany (singing):

(Another song starts to play as Brittany and the Cheerios end their performance. Rory and Sugar start to dance together.)
Sugar: I start to feel as if we're one of the forgotten couples. We're, like, so better than Finchel and that old, engaged couple put together.
Rory (chuckles): I wouldn't say better, but we do have a great relationship.
Sugar: I'm going to be so upset once wewe leave.
Rory (suddenly remembering the lie he told): I'm going to be upset when I leave, too.
Sugar: I hope someday we find a house on a prairie in Ireland, and live there together forever.
(Rory smiles at her. Artie watches from a meza, jedwali 3 feet behind them, looking upset.)
Artie: It really sucks to be alone.
(So far, prom turns out to be a big success. Unfortunately Rachel, Puck, Kurt, Blaine, and Becky aren't there to see it. They're on the sekunde floor in a classroom, having an anti-prom party of their own. They're watching MTV on the teacher's TV, drinking matunda punch, and playing Uno.)
Kurt: This prom sucks. Blaine, why can't wewe just go out there?
Blaine: I already told you. I'm not gonna let people see my fuzzy head.
Kurt (whispering): It's better than staying here with...(indicating Rachel) her.
Rachel (overhearing): Hey!
Kurt (to Rachel): What?
Rachel: I only didn't want to go because of Finn and Quinn. Do wewe know what's going on at all?
Blaine (shrugs): Not really.
Becky: I didn't want to go because no one nominated me prom queen.
Puck: You're a prom Queen to us, Becky. wewe could be...queen of the anti-prom.
(Rachel shoots an annoyed look at Puck, but he doesn't pay attention.)
Puck (to Becky): And I can be your king.
Becky: Thank wewe so much, Puckerman.
Puck: Let me go with you, Becky. We won't be the real prom king and queen, but we can still have fun.
Becky: True.
Kurt (to Blaine): See? They're going. How bad can it be?
(All four of them leave, leaving Rachel in the room kwa herself. She comes up with an idea.)
Rachel: I guess I'm going down, too.
(Santana is up inayofuata and performs link kwa Avril Lavigne.)

(As she's performing, Joe joins Mercedes and Sam with the partying.)
Mercedes (to Joe): How are wewe enjoying yourself, Joe?
Joe: I having fun so far.
Sam: Have wewe seen Quinn?
Joe: She's dancing with Finn. She's nominated for prom queen.
Mercedes: What? Do wewe know where she is?
Joe (shaking his head): No
(As they're talking, Joe turns around and sees Finn yelling at Quinn. He runs over to her defense, with Sam and Mercedes coming after him.)
Joe (to Finn): Dude, what's going on?
Finn (enraged): Did wewe know she could walk, too?
Joe: No.
Finn: Well, let me onyesha wewe then.
Quinn: Please, not now, Finn.
Finn (yelling): Stand up!
(He is about to push Quinn's wheelchair, but Joe and Sam pull him away. Mercedes stands kwa Quinn as the boys hold Finn down.)
Finn (to Quinn): wewe did this to me!
Quinn: Finn, no!
Joe (to Finn): Calm down!
Finn (to Joe and Sam): Let me go!
(At that moment, Sue runs over and pulls Finn away. Sam runs kwa Mercedes, and Joe takes Quinn away with him.)
Sue (to Finn): Do wewe want to be taken from another prom, Hudson?
(Finn is silent, watching Quinn wheel away with Mercedes, Sam, and Joe.)
Finn (to himself): I can't take this.
(About an saa later, Principal Figgins comes to the front of the room in front of the microphone. All of the prom royalty candidates come to the stage. Joe pushes Quinn in her wheelchair up inayofuata to Santana. Figgins starts to make an announcement.)
Figgins (in the microphone): Okay, students. Quiet down. It's time to announce McKinley High's prom king and Queen of 2012.
Santana (whispering to Quinn): You know my name's in that envelope.
Quinn (whispering back): Not a chance.
Figgins (in the microphone): And your 2012 prom king is...(A band member plays a drumroll.) Finn Hudson.
(Everyone erupts into cheer and excitement, and Finn grins widely as the crown is put on his head.)
Figgins (in the microphone): And your 2012 prom Queen is...Rachel Berry.
(Silence.)
Finn: Rachel?
Quinn: wewe can't be serious!
Santana: I didn't care anyway. Brittany's not prom king, so I don't want to be queen.
Brittany (sad): Unicorn.
