Is budget control one of the reasons for Glee’s cast renewal? I was watching E! and TV expert Kristin dos Santos seems to think so…
According to her, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith will probably be leaving at the end of the 2012 season. Then it was hinted kwa host Ryan Seacrest that this could be happening to keep the budget under control. And she agreed.
I imagine they were talking about the possibility of the actors, who are now insanely famous, start asking for huge salaries.
This could explain why the plot is turning against Lea Michele’s character, which now has a secondary flimsy storyline, as oppose to last season’s place as one of the main characters.
So, if there are still any Rachel Berry mashabiki out there, prepare to say goodbye. Sadly, it seems it will be a long and painful farewell.
