okay so umm yeah I'm kusoma the 6th book of harry potter and I was wondering what the hell is a horxcruce??

A horcrux is a piece of soul made kwa a (evil) witch au wizard to help them on their road to imortality. To brake their soul apart the must kill mercilessly and perform a spell. Voldemorts hocruxes were; 1the diary, 2the ring, 3hufflepuffs cup, 4slytherins locket, 5ravenclaws diadem, 6 the snake, 7 Harry (soz if its a spoiler)

A Horxcruce is really REALLY dark magic,bout the worst thing wewe can do. It's made my killing somebody,then preforming some magic hat litteraly tears your sould apart,then taking that bit of your soul and putting it in an object,or animal.Why? because when the person that does this gets killed au dies,they will pretty much just respawn where the horxcruse is,like a sekunde life.but doing this makes your soul very unstable,not to mention tearing it up into 8 dif pieces,which you'll see later on :p

a horcrux is a thing that holds part of your soul in the object.

a horcrux is an object wewe put some of your soul in,therefore making wewe imortal,but if wewe destroy a horcrux that person becomes mortal,so it is easier to kill that person.

a horcrux is a bit of a soul and to make one wewe have to have killed someone and the wewe rip ( and i mean literally rip) a piece of your soul out and put it in something wewe are close to so then wewe can't die unless someone destroys/kills that piece.
