In Deathly Hallows, when Voldemort attempts to kill Harry in the Forest, Harry returns. So why is the Horcrux destroyed?

Because earlier in the book Hermione says "It has to be so destructive that the Horcrux can't repair itself" and basically says that the container in which the fragment of soul is living must be damaged beyond magical repair. But Harry returns, his body is intact and not damaged beyond repair. I'm just wondering why the Horcrux was destroyed? I probably missed something when kusoma it au have misunderstood something, but I can't figure it out!!! :) Thanks!!

Also, when Harry is at the in-between crossroads, I think that the little baby thing under the chair that revolted him was the Horcrux, and that symbolized how he was now free of it.

that muliated baby thing was voldemort, in the fourth book wormtail carries out "an ugly baby" which is voldemort
