Lol. I never found out until they were shooting the 5th movie. I remember (in an interview) for Half Blood Prince -at the part with the perfume billboard in the train station and they gave Dumbledore a certain line but then they alisema to the director "he can't say that. A gay man wouldn't say that." The director was like "What?"

They imewasilishwa the line to be alisema to JKR that added in the script margin that Dumbledore would not say such a thing as he was gay. The line was a maoni made kwa Dumbledore about the girl showed on the perfum ad, he stated in the first draft of the script that she reminded him a girl he had known long zamani in his youth...
It was never mentioned in the vitabu au something. I once heard that someone asked JKR a swali relating to why Dumbledore was never married, and she answered kwa saying he was homosexual. XD
