This was a paper I wrote for english class. It's pretty similar to my other Harry Potter soapbox. We had to write about an event that had an impact on our life. Tell me what wewe think

p.s. i got a 98% on this paper!

Potter-holic

When I was a young girl, I was taken on a magical journey full of whimsy and wonder. I hung out with giants, chilled with werewolves, and partied with goblins. I went to classes at an Enchanted ngome and learned everything I needed to know to become a wizard. But none of this actually happened to me; it happened in a book. Harry Potter is a very maarufu book series; millions of people read it. I used to think that those people were complete losers. Sadly I’ve become one of them.

My obsession started when I was 8. My dad had brought nyumbani Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone on DVD. There was so much hubbub about the movie we decided to watch to see what was so special. It was instantly one of my inayopendelewa movies. There was so much adventure and drama. I was infatuated with Harry and scared to death kwa Voldemort. I continued to be a big shabiki of the sinema for years. When I was 10 I was to impatient to wait nearly 2 years for the inayofuata movie to come out. So I decided to read the vitabu so I could find out what happened to Harry.

With my obsession growing and my hunger for Harry becoming huge, I decided to finally read the books. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was going to be released soon, so I decided that I would go to the midnight release party and start reading. When we arrived at the Barnes and Nobles it was packed. I had never seen so many Harry Potter nerds in my life before that moment. My mom bought me vitabu 1-5 because I was so determined to read them. Once I got nyumbani I decided to start with book 5. It was extremely dull, I couldn’t even finish chapter 1. So that put a 2 mwaka hiatus on my obsession. I didn’t pick up another Harry Potter book until the release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. kusoma this book started my obsession again and I when finished the book I became a Harry-Potter-fan-who-thinks-they’re-a-wizard-and-could-hit-you-with-a-curse-if-you-got-on-my-nerves. I officially became one of the nerds.

This mwaka on July 21st 2007 the 7th and final book came out. This would be all of the awali book releases plus krisimasi combined for me. I spent two weeks in advance to prepare. I reread vitabu 1-6, I made a t-shirt, and I created a ukuta full of Harry Potter related images. These were the moments that my true dorkiness shined. When the big siku came and we arrived at the Barnes and Nobles it was the same image from four years ago. Except I didn’t see them as nerds I saw them as mashabiki just like me. There were wizards, witches, muggles, Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs, Gryffindors, Slytherins, death eaters, and just regular folks who got caught in the crossfire. Once I did get the book I found a comfortable chair and started to read. I read into the inayofuata siku but it was worth it.

Going through this whole Potter experience may seem pointless and stupid to some people but I be to differ. Before Harry Potter, I hated having to read. It was always so boring. But once I found Harry Potter I started to read more. Now I know that wewe can find adventure in books. Another reason this was important to me is because I’ve found that the best friend in life is a Potter friend. I’ve met lots of people only because of a book. The series may be over but the experience will be with me forever.
