I originally ilitumwa this as Kieran, at RPG-D and at my own Harry Potter RPG's forum. But I thought this would be useful for Harry Potter fanfiction writers in general as well.

There are countless ways wewe can perfeclly easily bring a muggle main character into any Harry Potter story au RPG & have a whole world of possibilities open for it - even if they don't know au never learn about magic's existence! They can know au learn, of course. Just, they really don't need to in order to be endlessly and colourfully written to a muggle's full potential.

If interested in how I connected my muggle characters to the HP universe, see link.

IDEAS FOR MUGGLE CHARACTERS IN THE HARRY POTTER UNIVERSE

X A muggle can come across a magical creature somewhere in the world and begin to study it. Even just that can provide a lot of interesting and colourful events without the muggle gaining any knowledge of magic's existence. (You know, not all creatures classified as magical, actually have magical powers. And the muggle myths and vitabu don't include every creature that is real and aren't entirely accurate about those that are.

X Ghosts are real in the Potter universe. A muggle could be a ghost buster even without knowing about magic's existence at all.

X There could be a Poltergeist in a muggle's home.

X Even a muggle can become a werewolf and without needing to know about magic's existence. Or, they could be a werewolf hunter! au a vampire/vampire hunter. (In my RPG / shabiki vision, Wanyonya damu aren't the undead. They're a combo of the Hollywood vampire and the real life disease. And even in the HP universe general if my memory serves correctly both mtu-bweha and Wanyonya damu are considered human and thus hunting them is illegal? But that would certainly be illegal for a muggle in the muggle society alone.)

X Does a muggle believe his au her eyes? Where does learning about magic lead them - into the wizarding sociery, au into therapy, au somwhere else? One small department in the Ministry can't possibly hear about and track every muggle who's wittnessed magic, and even if they at some point did catch up to each individual tons of stuff could've happened in between. And not every muggle needs to be obliviated.

X A muggle could be like Vernon Dursley. That kind of a muggle might be especially delicious to write about if the person doesn't know about magic's realness but occasionally runs into it.

X Even a worse muggle could become a modern siku witch hunter. It doesn't even require knowledge about magic's existence – it's enough that the person believes and is deeply afraid of it. After all, that's all the Witch Trials were in real life. They could these days take any form, as in the character doesn't necessary have to be a raving murderer about it.

X au maybe a muggle is a wanna-be witch/wizard with a completely wrong idea about the matters because he/she doesn't know about the real thing. There could be tons of these type of characters.

X A muggle can be in a relationship/married to a witch au a wizard, knowingly au unknowingly.

X A muggle-born's parents could find out about magic before Hogwarts invites the child in, because the child has manifested accidental magic since early childhood.

X au maybe a muggle simply forms a close friendship with a magical person, in which case the friend's need to hide magic can provide all kinds of situations and even problems.

X There could be muggles who were abducted and tortured kwa Voldemort au Death Eaters in the war but never killed because of Voldemort's sudden disappearence and following breaking up of the DEs. Such muggles have lots of different paths to take, depending on what exactly happened to them and what they believe happened to them.

X As for stuff simply between two muggle characters...Well, for one the wannabe witch/wizard thing works between any characters, but one other fantastic example of an interesting relationship type is the relationship between the FBI agents' fox, mbweha Mulder and Dana Scully in the '90s TV series The X-Files. Mulder believed in the supernatural, especially in aliens whereas Scully was a passionate woman of science. Of course in the case of their relationship and story their line of work and soulmate...ness provided tons of additional awesomeness, interest and loveability, but basically such belief-system dynamic can provide lots of interesting and complex possibilities in any setting and world.

And so now the hurly-burly's done, the battle's Lost and won — the Battle of Hogwarts, that is — and all the secrets are out of the Sorting Hat. Those who bet Harry Potter would die Lost their money; the boy who lived turned out to be exactly that. And if wewe think that's a spoiler at this late date, wewe were never much of a Potter shabiki to begin with. The outrage over the early reviews (Mary Carole McCauley of The Baltimore Sun, Michiko Kakutani of The New York Times) has faded...although the sour, wamekula taste lingers for many fans.

It lingers for me, too, although it doesn't have anything to do...

Many of us are familiar with Harry Potter's Diagon Alley but somehow... it sounds weird to hear A Diagon Mall. I am a third mwaka student taking up Advertising and we are assign think of a topic that suit our satisfaction. Our topic is about Thematic Branding and I am thinking about doing the Harry Potter's Diagon Alley. Since the place is already a commercial place for the wizardy world I have decided to pick it up as my thesis. Now I would like to gather maoni about my proposal about Advertising Diagon Alley and make it not just an ordinary place in a magical world.

Since the 7th book is out and has probably been read kwa most of the Harry Potter fans, does this really mean that the Potter mania is over? When I finished the book, I immediately reread it just trick to myself into thinking it wasn't over. For a while I was in a state of Potter denial. I kept thinking that it's not over and there will be loads zaidi vitabu after the 7th. I have finally realized that it's over and done with. But it got me thinking.

Will we ever have another great series like Harry Potter?

It's possible that we might not see another great series for 5, 10, au even 20 years. It might not be as good as Harry Potter, but there's hope.

But maybe we won't have to wait. Maybe the Potter mania isn't really over. With Fanfic, Fanart, Wizard Rock and everything wizard related the Potter legacy still continues. So, maybe it isn't the end.

Its a common infliction that can consume the soul. The manufacturing of bacterial buffers is common in the witch world. Making increasingly nasty bacterial compositions, to increase buffering capabilities of sinners. I know the method, doesn't necessarily need to be stated, using radiation, semen, feces from sinners, using isolated radioactive individuals, radiating further, then look for new compounds au life forms. These weaponize, I remediate all weaponize material giving a new life form, a mark, that grows as a sickness to consume the soul. I cure the virus, only if wewe choose to sin, will...
