Hugh was too distracted while shooting the scene with Peter and Olivia. He loved acting, but he loved her more. uigizaji didn’t make him shiver at the thought of it, uigizaji didn’t make him desperately wanting to kiss in public when he knew he couldn’t; uigizaji didn’t make him feel like coward, uigizaji didn’t make him regret being married. She did.
“13th take, “Lies and zaidi lies”, season 7, episode 8.” Exclaimed Doris.
“Lisa, I’m begging wewe for the millionth time, stay. Be a professional. Stay. Be… anyone wewe need to be so wewe could stay.” The producer begged.
“You know, I just hate that picture that’s hanging on the wall.” Lisa alisema out of nowhere and stood up. She headed to the ukuta where the frame with picture of Hugh and her was hung. She quickly took it, having a last look at it. She ran her thumb over his face and took a deep breath. David just watched the whole scene not expecting what was about to come next.
There was a loud sound of glass breaking into pieces and then a door bang. David couldn’t believe what just happened. He stood up and picked up the picture from the pile of broken glass covering it. He flipped it to find not only a written date, but a note too.
“12.3.2005. A night to remember, forever” was all that was written.
David smirked at the thought of how long had the affair between Lisa and Hugh going on.
As soon as Lisa banged David office’s door everybody looked at her direction. Some of them annoyed, some of them intrigued why she seemed to be so angry, some of them wondering where she was headed after that. She could feel their looks on her skin and she immediately thought of all the people that would look at her just like that - if she didn’t do as she decided to.
While she walked down to her dressing room, Hugh caught a sight of her. His moyo started tearing apart. Just as he was about to look away, something forced Lisa to look at his direction. For a brief moment, their eyes met. It seemed like an eternity. She was the one to look away first, turning back to where she had headed.
Her dressing room. Right now, that was the last place she wanted to be in. Everything reminded her of Hugh. Every object that was in it had its significance. Everything brought back memories. One in particular.
“… He walked trough her dressing room door, looking handsome as usual. She was sitting in her chair the moment before she heard him coming.
“We have half an saa to the inayofuata scene.” He whispered.
“So lets spend it on something good then.” She alisema playfully.
“I agree…” he alisema before heading to kiss her.
She backed away a few inches from his lips, teasing him to want more.
“Don’t torture me like that…” he whispered.
“You know wewe like it… I know wewe like it…” she said, her breath lingering on his lips.
“You know everything about me…” he whispered back as she finally gave in and kissed him passionately. He gently lifted her on the meza, jedwali as she was trying to get rid of an unnecessary shirt.”
A tear started forming in Lisa’s eye.
“You’re not gonna cry, Lisa. Not anymore” she thought as she took her mfuko wa fedha, mfuko and left her dressing room for what she believed was gonna be forever.
