Ok... another flashback guys... I guess I'll have wewe tortured for a while (:C
wewe know, who that mysterious woman is O.o
Well, guess wewe won't find out... YET!
Hope wewe enjoy this one!
About six months earlier:
He wrapped his arms around her waist, she almost swore.
“You scared me! Don’t ever do that! Where have wewe been?” she spoke, breathing shallowly, still in shock. She pulled away from him earning a glare.
“Upstairs, waiting for you” he smiled, but his smile quickly disappeared as he realized Lisa probably went through his divorce papers.
“I thought someone might have barged in and aliiba some things, your door was unlocked.” Her breaths evened out but were to become shallow again as he was looking her with those ocean-blue eyes. She shivered; she shouldn’t have felt like that.
“No… I got rid of some things…” he paused as he nodded towards the meza, jedwali with all those divorce papers still on it “ I think wewe know why…” he smiled hoping she won’t ask too much about the divorce.
“Why did wewe leave the door open?” she raised an eyebrow at him, now leaning on the table, facing him, but from the distance his eyes didn’t have as much impact on her as they had when she was near. Her knees trembled.
He matched her facial expression and raised his eyebrows, bobbing them a few times.
She chuckled.
“You’ve forgot to lock them, haven’t you?”
“Yeah…” he giggled. That was good; she didn’t ask anything about the divorce. He was safe.
“And what is that?” she asked pointing a thumb over her shoulder at the papers.
Hugh cursed silently, he wasn’t salama after all.
“Those are papers” he alisema innocently, hoping she would drop the subject and songesha to something more… interesting.
“Yeah, divorce papers. Why do I have a feeling wewe don’t want to talk about it? What’s going on?” she took a step forwards, moving closer to him. She knew she could mess everything up, she knew he had too much power over her, but right then, she wanted to be there for him.
“I don’t want to talk about it… I…” he bit his lower lip “ I want to, but really, there’s nothing to be said… Sometimes, it’s just not meant to work out” he used his piercing glare, just like when he wanted to make her feel… something. He didn’t know what though. But he wanted to make her feel something. He wanted her desperately to feel something, even if it was anger au frustration. He hated the way she made him feel and the fact she would never let him onyesha just how much she meant to him.
Lisa was in different position. Hugh was talking about things working out, things meant to be. Was he suggesting something? Was he speaking about something else other than his divorce?
And she felt it. She felt pain somewhere she never thought she would feel when it came to Hugh. She struggled so hard not to let him there, not to let him… not to let him in her heart.
And somehow he found a way to get in there, she was so sure it would never happen and now that it had, she wasn’t going to let him know that. Not when she was vulnerable, not when he wasn’t married, not when he didn’t have any commitments, not when he would want to have them - perhaps with her.
No, she wasn’t giving up on their… peculiar friendship, but she wasn’t going to give in either.
Their eyes were locked together for what seemed to be eternity. Both of them scared the other one would see in their eyes everything they feared to say, they closed them in unison.
Hugh gave away a small sigh and Lisa spoke
“We need to have some rules”
She wasn’t giving in, but she was damned if she let him make her want to do so.
Poor Lisa... XD
Oh, may I, just maybe,
give wewe a teaser?
Lisa didn’t know what to think. She knew what she wanted to do though. She wanted to run. But it was her house and there was nowhere to run away. She cursed herself for not going to Hugh’s zaidi often.
Uh, what the hell happened?
find out...
Tomorrow XD
