Okay, first things first. I know that when wewe read the title of this article, wewe may have freaked out. I know that I did when I first became aware of the existence of this interview. But I just want to tell wewe beforehand, it really isn't as bad as it sounds. I freaked out, yes, but that was before I translated the whole interview for myself. Now, it is evident that the content can be interpreted in different ways.

(Please take note that I'm a high school French student, and I didn't really use a translator, so I took some liberties with the translating...French-speaking people, please don't be offended kwa this crappy translation)

***

(Crappy translation of a zaidi poetic French title): “Far kwa the eyes, but close kwa the hearts” (basically, they are separated physically but not emotionally)

Hugh Laurie, who lives in Los Angeles, left Jo Green, his wife, and their three children, Rebecca (born in 1993), William (1991), and Charlie (1988), in Great Britain. “It was a decision that we made together. We were very attached to the great education in the UK. I’m not saying that the educational system in America is bad, but I did not feel an affinity with its methodology. wewe can’t uproot teenagers like that either. That hasn’t stopped us from Twittering, e-mailing, Facebooking, and Skyping; we are hyperpointus (?) in terms of communication.

(I'm now skipping to the part in the interview where Jo is mentioned...(not kwa name though, mind you))

In a promo picture, we see House holding a lollipop in the form of a heart, with the words “Love sucks” on it. Is this from experience?

Not as far as I’m concerned! House has his own theory of love. I have mine. I know that without the upendo of my wife and my family, I would be completely disorientated. Love, for me, has been a sort of GPS; it lets me have confidence in myself and less self-destructive tendencies. If it had been me, I would rather have written “Love is complicated”. But that’s not possible. It would have taken up too much space. It would have required a much larger lollipop, and thus my face would not have been visible. au the words could have been written on my face, instead of the lollipop!

I just want to put my two cents in:

First of all, Hugh never mentions Jo's name, which I take to be a good sign. The one big thing was "the upendo of my wife" part, which could have been a mistake in the translation. However, if he really did say that, the fact that he doesn't say "I upendo my wife" indicates that he knows that Jo loves him, but not necessarily that he loves her back.

Secondly, there's a contradiction. Once again, it could just be a translation thing. But he talks about "Twittering, Facebooking, etc." with his family back in England, but I'm pretty sure Hugh once alisema that he does not Tweet.

Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, is the "Love is complicated" thing. He could easily have alisema "Love is wonderful", "Love is great" au some such other thing that a happily married man would say. Instead, the fact that he sees upendo as "complicated" is saying something in and of itself. Of course, as a Huli, I see this as meaning "my wife still loves me, and yet I upendo another woman...but I don't dislike my wife, I just find my upendo for this other woman to be stronger. upendo is complicated".

I'm sincerely hoping that there are no other Hujo mentions in the rest of this interview (from the pics on Twitter that I found, there doesn't seem to be any). If I am right, then this actually bodes WELL for Huli, whereas in the beginning I thought it was the confirmation that we are all delirious. I really want to know your thoughts, though. Please maoni and discuss!!

Just to help wewe remember....

Previously on December/December:

"Hugh looked far away from knowing what he was doing. He was a frightening mix of depression and hiper-excitement tonight and that shade of resolution in his eyes, even if he was being very careful in hiding it from him, wasn’t reassuring at all.
“Hugh, I just want to be sure you….”But they had run out of time already. Lisa was pushing her way through the...

„Hugh, that was just a photo… And now people are staring at us.” She sermonized him, taking a peep at the restaurant’s customers.

“I hate it when they ‘re doing this… We come here to eat something, to talk and tomorrow we will read about our affair.”

“Are we… having an affair?” she asked him, not really sure if she really wants an answer for that. Right now she missed the times when they were ‘just friends’ and she could...

They were both laying on the kitanda in the middle of the night, Hugh with her head on his chest. She was listening to his moyo beat for a while and she closed her tired eyelids. Her breath was calm and steady and Hugh thought she’s finally asleep. He slowly took his hands from under the back of his neck and delicately grabbed her kwa the arms to roll her over. While he was laying her on her back, she opened her eyes looking into his just above her head. His hands were still at her back, pressed to the kitanda kwa her body.

“I-I thought wewe were sleeping…” he muttered, feeling her deep breaths...

Thanks for your reviews! :)

He liked being around her. They didn’t have to talk nor do anything, he could just sit inayofuata to her au look at her when she was bustling around the room. When he took his hand from the handle, he sat in the nearest armchair, as her eyes was tracing his movements. They were sitting like that in silence for few dakika when Lisa stood up from the kitanda and went to the bathroom.

“I’ll be back in a minute” she alisema and left the room. Meanwhile Hugh tap into a bottle of whiskey and poured some into the glass.

“Hugh..could wewe help me.. again?” Lisa went out from...

„Lisa, this is not what I meant…” Hugh followed her, slowly enough not to arouse suspicions but fast enough to catch her. “I just wanted to talk and straighten things up between us. Hey. “ He delicately caught her hand to stop her. She did, but she couldn’t force her head to turn and her eyes to look at him right now. “I missed you.” He alisema lowering his voice again.

‘Stop it please” she looked at him and freed her hand from his grip. “This is not the place and you’ve alisema enough.” She alisema and run through the crowd, straight to the reception desk. She civilly ask...
