Rumor.

She and Dakota Fanning just did a movie where they played lesbians. Someone probably saw some on-set pictures or stills from the movie(like their kiss scene) and thought that it was them being themselves rather than characters.

I mean, it's possible. Nobody can absolutely know anything about a celebrity's personal life, but I don't think this one is true.
