My view on upendo is constantly changing between two states of mind, upendo is a lie & upendo is the best thing in the world.
View One: upendo is a lie. an illusion. designed so people can have something to hope for. Don't get me wrong the concept is great but I don't think it exists. If it does exist it causes zaidi sorrow than joy. The pain of upendo is worse than anything else, physical au emotional. There is no upendo it is an illusion, there is lust & friendship but no love. Caring about someone does not mean that wewe "love" them.
View Two: upendo is the most amazing thing in the world. It makes wewe ecstatically happy & it's our entire purpose in life(ok maybe that's an exaggeration). It cures everything & helps you. It is everyone's dream & the best feeling in the world. The joy of upendo is stronger tahn any pain.
