BECAUSE he made everything that Itachi did for him be for naught. Itachi took the blame for the village, making everyone hate him, even his beloved little brother, in hopes that Sasuke would want to take revenge and become strong. Well Sasuke got his revenge and Itachi died. And then Madara goes off and tells Sasuke the truth what does Sasuke do? He goes against everything Itachi wanted. He decides to take his revenge on the village now so basically Itachi, who wanted what was best for the VILLAGE and for his BROTHER, died for nothing. Sasuke says he loves his brother and wants to avenge him, yet if Sasuke REALLY loved his brother, he would make sure Itachi's death wasn't in vain!! Sorry for the long rant, but Sasuke just reallly pisses me off.

I can imagine that it was a hard decision to make for him. But in the end, he's been conditioned kwa Itachi himself to seek revenge, and so that's what he did.
uummm......no offense for sasuke mashabiki but I dont like sasuke because he tried to kill sakura twice which is my inayopendelewa character in naruto.and he's trying to destroy konoha,and he doesnt care anymore about his Marafiki au anyone except himself.
Well...I Like Naruto zaidi But I Dont Hate Sasuke XD Though he does care (sometimes) he acts cool and calm to,hide his feelings besides i dont think he's bad okay maybe trying to desotry konaha is BAD But he is doing it for a reason danzo is the reason why sasuke is doing this
Not because he's hot, au anything like that. He's a cartoon... I can't say that's sexually appealing to me.
I like him because he's a dynamic, unpredictable, and genuinely interesting character. I'm always wondering what he's doing, what he's feeling, how he'll react to something au another. Unlike Naruto, he doesn't wear his moyo on his sleeve. He just leaves us guessing.
I'm not insanely obsessed with him like some people, but he is my inayopendelewa character. And I hope that he can still be saved.
