One day, Erin went for a walk in the forest with her dog, Rusty. Even though it was cold, the sun was shining. Overall, it was a beautiful day. However, Erin made sure she was dressed warmly. After all, it was December, and the weather could change in unexpected ways. Suddenly, it started to snow. Erin alisema to her dog, "Come on, Rusty. We better head nyumbani before it gets dark." Unfortunately, the snow was falling so hard that she couldn't see where she was going. She stepped on a loose rock, and all of the sudden, she was on the ground. She managed to get up. Her loyal dog rushed to her side. She smiled and said, "I think I'm okay, Rusty." Soon, she began to notice she was running out of adrenaline. That's when she began to realize she was hurt. She felt a sharp, stabbing pain in her ankle. She must have sprained it au something. She knew she had to keep on going. She managed to make it up a hill. Exhausted and in excruciating pain, she collapsed on the juu on the hill. Rusty stayed close to her to try and keep her warm. She alisema to herself, "I'll just rest for a while, but I'll have to get up and continue the journey home." A few moments later, she tried to get up, but her ankle was hurting, and she was unable to get up. She looked to her last hope, her dog, Rusty. She said, "Rusty, go get help." He whimpered. She said, "Please, Rusty! I could freeze to death." Reluctantly, he ran off to find help. Erin shivered while lying in the snow. She had seen Lassie, but she remembered something. Rusty wasn't Lassie! The only thing Rusty and Lassie had in common was that they were both collies. Just then, as the snow was slowing down, she saw Rusty. Her friend, Paul, was close behind. Erin had never seen a sweeter sight. Paul rushed to her and said, "Erin, your aunt and uncle are worried sick about you. They've been looking for you. They called me to help them. Are wewe all right?" She murmured faintly, "No, I'm not." He said, "I better get wewe home." She said, "I've hurt my ankle. I can't get up." He said, "I've got you." He carried her home. Along the way, they met her aunt and uncle. Her aunt said, "Erin, we've been worried sick. What happened to you?" Erin alisema through chattering teeth, "I think I sprained my ankle." Her uncle said, "I think we better get wewe to the hospital." They wrapped her in a blanket and kept the heat on high in the car to keep her warm. At the hospital, the doctor ordered an x-ray of her ankle. Luckily, it was only a mild sprain. The doctor said, "She can put pressure on it in a few days. For now, she'll have to be on crutches, and she'll need to rest it." The inayofuata day, Paul payed her a visit. He asked, "How's your ankle, Erin?" She said, "It was only a mild sprain. I can put pressure on it in a few days." He said, "I'm glad it wasn't much worse. I'm also glad I got to wewe when I did." She said, "Thanks for rescuing me, Paul." He said, "Don't thank me. Thank your dog. If it weren't for him, I would have never found you." She said, "But wewe played a part in it, too. Rusty on his own couldn't have gotten me out of the woods." Paul smiled and said, "I'm glad he found me, and I'm glad I found wewe in time." Erin smiled. She never realized how lucky she really was. Her ankle healed completely with time, and all was well again. Erin knew one thing she would never do again: go for a walk in the forest without a human companion.

Two years had passed since Anjanette met her friends, Ferdinand and Tammy. It had also been two years since Anjanette started living with her uncle, Bruce, and since she adopted her Collie, Misty. Misty had grown into a mature adult. Anjanette even believed that if Misty were human, she'd be wise beyond her years. Anjanette, Ferdinand, and Tammy were now teenagers. Ferdinand even gained a very deep voice, almost as deep as Ringo Starr's. Anjanette even gained a deep voice, thankfully not deep enough to pass for a man. The three Marafiki were getting ready to start high school. Their high school...

I know I could have written all of wewe a personal message, but I thought it was easier to address everyone here. Without further ado, I will get started with the message.

I would just like to thank everyone for the kind words, support, and virtual hugs. I am just so heartbroken over River's loss. She was so young, and it was so sudden. She got loose, was hit kwa a truck, and was gone within a moment's notice. She was just three years old. Even though I only had River for a short amount of time, she brought so much joy. She was a precious gem, and no dog will ever replace her.

As most of wewe know,...

After Tammy's parents made them a big breakfast of eggs and pancakes the inayofuata morning, it was time to leave. Ferdinand's father and Anjanette's Uncle Bruce arrived in their cars to take their children back home.
"We need to do this again," Tammy alisema enthusiastically. "We can do animal-themed crafts, and dance parties, and we can all make friendship bracelets to wear au something...."
Anjanette had to grin back. "Yes, we should."
Ferdinand nodded, too. "We'd upendo that."
"Oh - I almost forgot!" Tammy dashed through the jikoni towards a chest of drawers, nearly upending a pitcher of machungwa, chungwa juice...

After school, Tammy and Ferdinand talked with their parents about the play tarehe and sleepover. Anjanette talked with her uncle. After being aliyopewa the go ahead, the three Marafiki met at Ferdinand's for a play date. Ferdinand's new rabbit, Petunia, was coming out of her shell. She came out with Lily to discover the humans. Anjanette said, "I'm glad petunia is warming up." Ferdinand gave a smile. He said, "I'm glad about that too. I think Lily has helped her a lot." Misty watched the rabbits hop around. She then saw Orion and took off to play with him. Tammy laughed. She said, "I've never seen...

Tammy let out a small gasp. "Oh my gosh, Anjanette, how did that happen?" She reached out as if she wanted to touch the scars and make them better somehow.
Anjanette took a deep breath. "These - are from when I was still living with my parents. They're from before the time they intentionally hit me - but it was still their fault." She could feel the tears welling up again, and she swallowed hard.
Tammy sucked in her breath, eyes wide and filled with what Anjanette almost thought was sympathy, but she didn't interrupt. Anjanette pressed on.
"They went out to eat a lot... because they thought it...

Saturday came, and Anjanette went to the pet rescue center with Uncle Bruce. Tammy's mother greeted them. She said, "Welcome! I'm sure you're here to see the puppies." Anjanette said, "Yes. I heard from Tammy that wewe have collie puppies." Tammy's mother smiled. "You must be Anjanette. Tammy has told me a lot about you." Anjanette and Uncle Bruce were directed to the dog kennels. They saw all kinds of dogs, from Poodles to German Shepherds. They then saw the most adorable collie puppies. Tammy's father said, "They are up to tarehe on all their shots, including Rabies. They can go all sorts of...

"That sounds great, Anjanette," Uncle Bruce replied, when Anjanette told him about Tammy and her parents' pet rescue centre. "We'll go over on Saturday and look at the puppies."
"Thanks, Uncle Bruce." Anjanette smiled broadly at the thought of finding her Collie. Her first pet....
"I'm glad you're talking to the other kids at your school a bit more, too," Bruce went on, as he began to open the jikoni cupboards to fix Anjanette an after-school snack. "I know wewe were nervous around them at first."
Anjanette nodded slowly. "They are different here from how they were at my old school. And Tammy...

At lunch, Anjanette and Ferdinand sat with Tammy. Tammy wrote down directions to her parents' pet rescue center. Anjanette asked, "Does this place ever rescue Collies?" Tammy replied, "We do have Collies sometimes. In fact, we have a litter right now. They were rescued from a ditch along with their mother." Anjanette said, "That's awesome! I can't wait to tell my uncle the good news." Tammy said, "You live with your uncle? What happened to your parents?" Anjanette began to cry. Ferdinand said, "She's not ready to talk about that just yet. She has been through so much already. She recently started...

About a week later, Anjanette and Ferdinand met as they usually did outside their new school. Anjanette looked tired.
"How are you?" Ferdinand greeted her. "You look tired."
Anjanette sighed. "Uncle Bruce and I stayed up late every night this week looking for a Collie. We looked at breeders, classified ads, everywhere. Either the place was too far away, au they didn't have the right type of dog, au it didn't look reputable - there was always something wrong!"
Ferdinand touched Anjanette's shoulder encouragingly. "Don't give up. I know you'll find something. I should know; I've found four pets...

After playing with Ferdinand's pets, Anjanette stayed for dinner. After dinner, she went back home. Uncle Bruce helped her with her homework. He asked, "Did wewe have a good time at Ferdinand's?" She said, "Yes, I did. His new rabbit, Petunia, is adorable. She's shy, but she's very sweet. She has very soft fur." This made Uncle Bruce smile. After finishing her homework, Anjanette decided she was ready to ask her question. "Uncle Bruce?" she said. He turned to her. "Yes, Anjanette?" She asked, "Can I have a pet?" He said, "Of course. What kind of pet do wewe have in mind?" She said, "A dog." He...

One siku after Anjanette was settled into her new life living with her uncle Bruce and attending her new school with its strict no-bullying policy, Ferdinand invited her over to play with his pets. "I just got a new rabbit to keep Lily company. I thought she seemed a bit lonely, since the cat and the hamster never really want to play with her."
Anjanette loved all of Ferdinand's pets. Cheeky, his hamster, was asleep most of the time she was there, since it was still daytime, but he did wake up at one point to poke his furry head through the door of his nesting box and yawn hugely. Orion, Ferdinand's...

A lot of people have asked, "What do wewe feed your dogs? How do wewe feed them?" This is what I do. wewe don't have to do what I do. This is what works for me.

I currently feed my mbwa Diamond Naturals Extreme Athlete. I changed them to this to save money, and it's also enthusiastically recommended kwa Dog chakula Advisor. This particular product is for active mbwa of all sizes. It is free from corn, which is great, because River is allergic to corn. It is made with gluten-free grains, since mbwa don't really need gluten. It also contains probiotics, as well as glucosamine and condroiton, so I don't...

The inayofuata morning after breakfast, the two bands went to the recording studio once again. They recorded the last couple of songs for their album, which was titled "Union". The Radiant Terriers arrived at the New Religion household in Oak Ridge. Leila rang the doorbell, and there was the sound of barking dogs. Erin answered the door and said, "Good to see you've made it. Come on in." The Radiant Terriers came inside. Abigail said, "This is a nice house. How do wewe keep it so clean?" Lola said, "I enjoy cleaning. It runs in the family. My mother used to clean people's houses for a living." Carl said, "Don't take all the credit, Lola. I help." She said, "Yeah, wewe do." Paul came out and said, "Hey, guys! I see wewe brought the namesake dog with you." Leila said,...
