What would wewe do if wewe once slept then woke..?
Took a look at your mirror, and stared at the reflection of yourself, then cried?

There is the swali inside wewe makes wewe scream, and say....
"Who could I be?"
"Who could I be?"

Am I still who I was au I mgawanyiko, baidisha into two?

And then... yeah then.....?!

You the fellow in the mirror, please tell me who I am. Just explain to me how I feel, happiness? Sadness? au soreness?

Whenever, lots of things of our life instilled within our confusions, and here we survive, we still satisfied. Back and forth.

What would wewe do if wewe slept then woke...?
And found out...

I wanna bet

That yours is the one

That isn't dent

I wanna see

if wewe will bleed

Or maybe die

another time!

But if it clicks

And it won't bang

Pass it on to

the rest of the gang!

And then we'll see

If he will bleed

Or if she'll die another time!

But it's only once,

Don't be a dunce,

You'll just die

Another time!

And then the next

Time that we play,

Be it not au if we may,

Get all for wewe but none for me

Because I don't want to be greedy!

And after all, I'm not a jerk

I just want to see if wewe will learn

How to take a gun

And hold it tight,

I swear it's fun!

Don't worry it is alright!

But wewe should

Know...

If no one ever marries me,—
And I don’t see why they should,
For nurse says I’m not pretty,
And I’m seldom very good—

If no one ever marries me
I shan’t mind very much;
I shall buy a squirrel in a cage,
And a little rabbit-hutch:

I shall have a cottage near a wood,
And a gppony, pony all my own,
And a little kondoo, mwana-kondoo quite clean and tame,
That I can take to town:

And when I’m getting really old,—
At twenty-eight au nine—
I shall buy a little orphan-girl
And bring her up as mine.

Hope wewe like it, that it speaks to you, invites you, whoever wewe are.

I may only be One Voice,

But my One Voice is important because without my One Voice we could never have one million Voices.

my one Voice stands for ME.
what I think.
what I believe in.
and who I am.

My Voice is unique
But so is every other Voice
and every Voice is important*

So let your Voice be heard, be One in a million Voices

*not part of the original poem:

Important because millions of voices can create a defaning roar.

The temperature was only one degree
A twelve-year old girl who’s nice and friendly
Went to Central park, skipping blissfully
Once there, she fed damp ducks and sneaky squirrels
She met the little girl, sitting on barrels
They talked while the ducks went swimming
They read while the squirrels went hoarding
Everything was as peaceful as a tree

Until darkness fell

When swiftly, the wind whispered in their ear
The little girl looked up, putting down her book
The other girl shot her a quizzical look
A hoard of monsters came out of the shadows
At last free of their prison, the Dark Meadows
They charged and...

In our Society today, do wewe class yourself as free? au are wewe constantly clinging onto things, which give no guarantee?

These black tears are the unshed blood from the wounds wewe left me
Not scars that healed, but fresh wounds that still bleed
wewe left my very soul in tatters, never mind my heart
But that someone who had taken wewe from me, had to take that too, and rip it apart
I don’t know who made wewe leave, au why, but I do know this,
That if wewe could, wewe would relive all the happy memories with me that I now have to miss
Now just as wewe are, the happy times are a ghost, a whisper in the wind
It feels like no matter how things turn out for me, this sadness that came over me will never end
It’s also selfish, wanting wewe to be here with me
You’re healed of sickness and pain, happy now with your other family
wewe were and Angel when wewe were here
Now you’re just a different kind
One that will be our guardian until we can find wewe again
When we find our way to the light

Dying
To
Live

Tell me this, would wewe miss it,
trying on another face again to see if it's you
And wondering where you've been
and where you're gonna find yourself
before the night is through

I know the way wewe go
cos I've been the same for too long
Like I'm fearful that my choices are all wrong
I know the way wewe go
cos I've lived your life of make believe
Dying to live

Tell me this, is it lonely in the shadow of a masquerade for life wewe hide behind
What's the deal with your reasons to run away
and let your feelings leave wewe undefined

I know the way wewe go
cos I've been the same for too long
Like I'm fearful...

"Self-destruction" is a piece that was written to bring awareness and hopefully a solution to the violence going on with Chicago youth.

The years have passed
The moments flown by
Yet I still find myself here
starting to cry

The nyasi neatly trimmed
and the tombstone shines
Flowers' scents intoxicating
mixed with that of the pines

Dirt and mud disappeared
from your resting place
Finally I may kiss the ground
without having a mess of my face

There are other survivors
traveling this lonely road
Trying to songesha on
is as painful as letting go

My moyo goes out to those
missing someone right now
Sometimes it's too hard living
When we forget how

But we share this common bond
Me and you
We keep catching and releasing
Not taking the same chances we used to

Different are the circumstances
but the results remain the same
Death showed a higher hand
and won the biggest pot in the game

But we must share with each other
We must not sink below the sorrow au the guilt
We must not reach ground zero
Else our lives won't be rebuilt

your smile brightens up the world
your eyes are magical
your tears are precious
wewe make me laugh
and thought of losing wewe made me cry

your moyo is as deep as ocean
wewe are calm in sticky situations
wewe are the one who sings our song
yours words are an inspiration for me
wewe can see my pain through my eyes

it's wewe that makes me smile in
the hardest part of my life
wewe are the ray of light in the darkest night
wewe gave me new hope of life
wewe are always there for me

we have to different ways
but i will never forget wewe and your friendship
we might fall apart but
wewe will hold my moyo forever

the times we had are precious jam
wewe like me for who i m so
i dont have to be any body else
your friendship is the most beautiful thing
on this planet after you
