Selena Gomez isn't shedding any tears over losing the coveted role of the "fairest of the fair" in Snow White and The Huntsman to Kristen Stewart. The Wizards of Waverly Place nyota is too busy looking mbele to the July 1 release of her upcoming film, Monte Carlo. The film's first "official" promo picha featuring an elegantly dressed Selena with her similarly attired co-stars--Katie Cassidy and Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester--has just hit the Web.

Monte Carlo, which is based on a Jules bass, besi novel titled Headhunters, is the story of a girl who travels to Europe with her BFF and her future stepsister." As it turns out, one of the girls is a dead ringer for an English heiress--an improbable situation which causes them to wind up in Monte Carlo. Gomez, who plays the lead dual roles of the bratty, stuck-up Cordelia and her impostor Grace, faced the daunting task of learning 2 different British accents.

"Accent training was the hardest thing on juu of learning lines," explained the 18-year-old Disney nyota who considered Monte Carlo the "baby steps" she needed to hone her uigizaji skills and build her big screen resume.
