On Sunday (August 28), BFFs Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez caught up at the Video muziki Awards Pre-Show, where Gomez acted as a special black-carpet correspondent.
"I can tell wewe two are best friends. We're not going to get any work done," joked MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway.
There was a bit of work done, though. Lovato talked up her forthcoming album, Unbroken, due in stores September 20.
"It's definitely not pop/rock how I used to do. It's definitely zaidi radio-friendly. It's zaidi R&B, it's zaidi pop, and I think wewe guys are going to like it," Lovato said. "I got a lot of collaborations with Timbaland, Missy Elliott ... Jason Derülo."
"You upendo Missy Elliott!" Selena shrieked.
Lovato is just one of many watu mashuhuri platinum recording artist and Emmy-winning actress Gomez interviewed. She talked to her peers alongside MTV's team of correspondents, including Calloway, Jim Cantiello and James Montgomery.
"I am very excited to be a part of the 2011 VMAs! After all of my years watching the VMAs, the pre-show has always been one of my inayopendelewa parts. It is a true honor to be hosting from the black carpet this year," Gomez alisema before the onyesha in a statement.
cobra Starship performed their dance hit "You Make Me Feel," featuring Sabi, right after Gomez's interview with Lovato.
