With their sekunde album about to hit the shelves at the end of the month, Billboard has checked out Selena Gomez & The Scene‘s album A mwaka Without Rain. Check out what they had to say about her new music!

“A mwaka Without Rain” finds Selena Gomez (and evidently her band, the Scene) tackling a succession of standard-issue tween-pop topics: how awesome upendo is (“Off the Chain”), how sucky bad days are (“Intuition”) and how powerless we mere mortals are in the face of the devil’s muziki (“Rock God”). Fortunately, the 10-track set—a huge improvement over the Disney Channel star’s forgettable 2009 debut—delivers these ho-hum messages in above-average packaging. Opener “Round & Round,” co-produced kwa “Let It Rock” broheim Kevin Rudolf, rides a fist-pumping electro groove, while “Summer’s Not Hot” gets a gloriously trashy Eurodance chorus from RedOne, who co-wrote the song. Elsewhere, Gomez goes appealingly emo-disco on the Toby Gad-produced title track. Despite the album’s title, dark clouds do appear in the form of “Spotlight,” a hookless, fake-dancehall jam, and the snoozy “Ghost of You.” But mostly, “A mwaka Without Rain” is as sunny as advertised.

Round and Round (x4)

You see me standing there
And act like wewe dont know me
But last night wewe were calling me
Saying wewe want me
Oh why wewe always make me feel
Like I'm the one thats crazy
You feel my moyo racing
My-my moyo racing

Boy, I need wewe here with me
We can't go on this way
I'm falling hard for you
And all I can say

We're going round and round
We're never gonna stop
Going round and round
We'll never get where
We are going
Round and round
Well your gonna miss me
Cause I'm getting dizzy
Going round and round
Round and round

You tried to pull me close
And whisper in my ear
You always told me lies
I cried out...

Everyone enjoy your last few weeks of Justin Bieber being popular, because I have a feeling that Taylor mwepesi, teleka is about to participate in his take down — she’s helping Selena Gomez co-write a song called ‘Better Without You’ for her new album. I don’t want to count my eggs before they’re hatched, but I have a delightful feeling that the whole Jelena situation is about to get blown wide open. As a blogger who thrives on the misfortune of others (I think that’s my job, based on the kind words wewe guys leave me in the maoni section), I couldn’t be happier about this turn of events....

One big part of growing up is falling in love. Selena shared what she thinks of love:

Movie: Ramona & Beezus
Release: 2010
Rating: *****

Ramona & Beezus was one of the best sinema I've ever watched of 2010 & I'm not kiddin'. Selena's portrayal of Beezus went smoothly with Joey King's Ramona. The movie should have been a great big success with being the Disney princess's theatrical debut onto the big screen. Everyone has only 1 debut & Sel had hers perfect! I'm hopin' my fave ever idol the best of luck in all her future movie roles. :)
As wewe watch through the entire movie wewe can understand how Selena took the character & made the role her own. Her chemistry with the others in the main cast is perfectly in line. There were no mess-ups that I could spot.
