Clark was just starting his freshman mwaka in high school when his father told him that his biological parents were extra terrestrials. He wondered why they sent him away, but Jonathan had no majibu for him.
Dr. Swann delivers Jor-El's message to Clark.It was zaidi than a mwaka later when he met Virgil Swann and he received part of the answer. Dr. Swann intercepted a message which indicated only that Clark is from Krypton and that his parents intended to look out for him:
