Title: "The Boy with the Onyx Eyes"
Rating: YC
Type: sad, romance
Characters: Annabeth Chasse, Percy Jackson
Synopsis: It’s not long enough for a synopsis D:
Disclaimer: I own nothing in this story but the uandishi quality and the song

A/N: This is dedicated firstly to two people who will most likely never read this, JK Rowling whose vitabu got me to start writting- something I will never go back on- and Rick Riordan who gave me something to wait for and who's vitabu made me laugh on days when the sky was grey.

To my French teacher this mwaka who accepted to read a part of my work and who's maoni on my writting essays make me grin. To my third grade teacher who read quite a few short ones. To my teacher last mwaka who read the first chapter of one. To my friend Persephone (staying with the minor-goddess-as-names theme) who actually stalked up to my French teacher one siku and asked for the adress of the nearest book publisher.

We sung and clapped along for the campfire, and passed the marshmallows around the amphitheatre. It was just like any other campfire, Hermes stuffing the marshmallows in their mouths, all the musical children of Apollo were handling guitars au lyres and various flutes, the Aphrodite girls finding themselves superior then to listen were gossiping and they were the ones looking like idiots- but nobody would tell them that.
When they got Miriam, the best singer from Apollo cabin, to sing the song about the onyx-eyed boy, I put my head on his shoulder.

-And he told her that his shield was in the way
So she took it from his hands and thought it was okay
And when the chariot ran and they crashed in the phalanx
He died in the moment, but his shield saved the girl with the curls
He knew he was dying either way
So he gave her his shield preying to her father to keep her moyo beating…

He put his arm around my shoulder and I couldn’t help but think this was the exact kind of thing he’d do. Not that he’d ever carry a shield again unless he was in a phalanx himself, but he was always so loyal… His fatal flaw, but most people called it bravery au sacrifice. I stopped thinking about that because it was getting to my head.

-And she took his sword right off the ground
And she saw the enemy through teary eyes
But she fought with the skill and rage of 2
One her own and one for the boy with the onyx eyes
And once the battle was won she dropped to her knees
And cursed at her own father for taking the only good thing that she’d ever come across

She begged and begged for him to take her too
That it wasn’t fair, he could’ve survived,
But Hades was deaf to his daughter’s protestation
And countered every kisu ever to strike near her heart
For he wouldn’t take a soul that had done nothing to die…
And from that point on she lived her life with the joy and height of 2
One her own and one for the boy with the onyx eyes…

We all clapped for Miriam, the Aphrodite girls even stopped crying au criticising her hair au clothes and as Chiron spoke the tears dried up. This song always caused some, “The boy with onyx eyes”, one of those songs wewe upendo but dread to hear because you’re scared your eyes will start pouring like storm clouds. I told Percy once and he alisema that when he alisema my eyes looked like storm clouds it was only a color-reference. That had made me laugh.
-Another great camp fire! I ask the campers from either Hermes’ cabin, kibanda au Eris’ to kindly return the marshmallows to the jikoni before lights out, and a good night to all! Chiron said.
That was our call to be dismissed.
-Cabin 6, line up! I said. I led them to the cabin, kibanda and once everyone was accounted for, I met Percy, who was leaning on a nearby tree. I found my way into his arms and we stayed there watching the stars in the cool night air.
-Liked the camp fire? I asked. He shrugged.
-Fine until they sang “the boy with the onyx eyes”.
-You don’t like that song?
-So so. It kind of scares me. He said.
-Why?
-Because it just shows how nothing’s stable and how wewe can lose the important things without even realising what’s happening. He alisema looking at me in the eyes.
-Lucky your eyes are green and I’m a blonde. I said, feeling something choke up in my throat at how honest his answer was. He pulled me near him.
-I upendo you, and I hope you’re right. He said.
-For this one thing, so do I. I said.
-Harpies’ll be out soon. Goodnight. He said.
-Goodnight. He kissed me and we headed back to our cabins.

The following siku Percy wasn’t at breakfast.
-Where’s Percy? Malcolm asked.
-I don’t know. I’ll go check his cabin, kibanda as soon as we’re dismissed. I said. After Chiron gave the signal to go; I told Malcolm to bring everyone to the climbing ukuta and that I’d meet them there.
I knocked on the door of cabin, kibanda 3. Nothing. I knocked again.
-Percy, it’s me. Open up. I said. No answer.
-Percy, I’m opening the door. I alisema wondering why he was ignoring me. After a dakika au so I turned the handle. Unlocked. Uh-oh. I opened the door. The cabin, kibanda was deserted. No sign of a struggle, no blood- thank the gods. Riptide wasn’t on the nightstand, which was the only thing missing. I closed the door.
Sword arena. He might have skipped breakfast to train. Not his type, but still…
The Ares cabin, kibanda was practising, beating up on each other. No sign of Percy.
-Clarisse! I called. She walked over, her step heavy like a dragon’s feet pounding down.
-What do wewe want wisey? She asked.
-You seen Percy? I asked. She shrugged.
-Not since last night.
-Weird…
-Check his cabin.
-Just did.
-Ask Di Angelo.
-Still at school.
-Right, keep forgetting the little twerp’s in New York. Well, no clue. She said.
I went to check the beach, pwani and the mtumbwi, canoe lake. No sign of him. I even squeezed an answer out of a nymph, who alisema she hadn’t seen him anywhere near the lake. The ocean then…
I asked the Stolls, Lou Ellen, Drew who always seemed to have an eye on him (until I told her to back off, but ever then), Will, Butch, everyone. Lou Ellen even tagged along with me to help. No sign of him. I went to see Chiron last.
-Haven’t seen him since he left with wewe and your siblings. He said.
-Was he going anywhere, or..?
-Never told me if he was. Chiron said.
-Do wewe think he went back to the City? Lou asked.
-Why would he? I asked.
-Stay kwa the dock, I’ll send Apollo cabin, kibanda in the forest, this is quite odd. Chiron said.
-Dude… If he’s in the forest with the dragon… Lou Ellen said.
-Do wewe have some kind of location spell? I asked her.
-Umm, yes.
-Can wewe please? I asked. She retrieved her wand from her ukanda and started mumbling. The wind picked up and stopped.
-He’s not here. Lou said. Not as much as my spell’s concerned.
-What? He has to be at camp. I said.
-I’ll contact his mother, wewe two go back to the dock. Chiron said.
The rest of the siku was a blur. Well, not really, but it’s an excuse people use when they don’t want to recount a bad day, and this one was a horrible one. Looking, driving out to New York to check at places like his school, his mom’s apartment for any sign, the Plaza, central park, the empire state building, and lurking around the dock… I would’ve stayed there all night if I could’ve.
Lou Ellen came to get me at 10 in the night.
-You’re just making this Hades longer kwa staying here Annabeth, he’s not coming. She alisema putting a hand on each shoulder. I let her stear me back to my cabin, kibanda and charm me to sleep because no way I would’ve anyways, I woke up several times during the night anyways, his words echoing in my head.
Because it just shows how nothing’s stable and how wewe can lose the important things without even realising what’s happening.

And it had happened without me realising it.

I’d Lost the one who was my onyx-eyed boy
ANYONE MAY READ THIS AS LONG AS THEY DON'T MIND SPOILERS FROM HOH!

HERE IS MY POINT-I THINK LEO IS GOING TO DIE! THERE! I alisema IT( I just killed my self doing so but) I alisema IT!

sorry for making this so short but this all i could think of so far..

here is my proof-

------------------------------------------------------------

Gaia alisema that she would get her revenge-
i know this doesn't count as much as she alisema that to everyone but she thinks that he is the one to die first. She has been plotting his death for much longer. what if this is because she knows that he is also the one to stop HER?! That...
