crazy_greek I'm not sure I like the fact that Percy, Annabeth and this monster are real people and not sketches... I think some of the magic of 2D is lost... Not to mention that it looks more like a promo poster than a book cover with that logo. And, to be honest, I prefer the US cover - even though I like the fact that this one gives us a few more clues about the story. Yeah, I agree with you, Nicolicious. It must be Tartarus or, at least, one of the giants. Gaea knows Percy and Annabeth have fallen to the pit, so it would be an awful tactical mistake to leave this side of the Doors unprotected, not to mention that she wants to capture them and take sacrifice them. Besides, there is no Lucifer and no Satan in Greek Mythology.

Phoenix_Stone I know Kronos has been spread too thin or whatever, but this guy looks like Kronos from The Last Olympian PJO cover. :/

Holy Hephaestus, we're in for one amazing story. I think we all picked up on the curse in the book description, and ever since there has been discussion all over the place about which curse it might be. Is it old? Is it new? Has Hades' curse of the Oracle come back au did Hera decieve Percy at the end of The Last Olympian? There are answers, my friends, about several curses and about the people who do the cursing.

New Son of Neptune Excerpt

First, thank wewe to unknownquestion for finding that video of the new SoN excerpt for us. =D
Second, a fair warning before wewe watch the video.
Here's a orodha of things that the new excerpt gives us:
1. Basically the main plot is aliyopewa out, I think.
2. Now we know why the book is called, "The Son of Neptune".
3. We also know now why Ella the harpy is there, and her importance.
4. Chapter 28. I repeat: Chapter 28. We get a sneak peak either in the middle au at the end of the book.

How to get Percy to remember.

So guys.
I have these brilliant ideas on how to get seaweed brain to remember everything. Rick probably isn't going to do this in his book, but whatevs. A girl can dream, right?

PLAN A
Sing to him

Put this image in your head. Everyone finding Percy, and gathering in a chorus line to serenade him to remember. What do they sing? Well, sing these lyrics to the tune of Your Are My Sunshine:
You're name is Percy,
Your dads Poseidon
You have a girlfriend,
Named Annabeth...
Oh wewe don't know dear,
How much she loves you,
So please try to remember again..
Then Percy remembers, kisses Annabeth and they get married...
