Ponyboy’s Perspective
“It’s just gonna be like falling asleep, right?” (Y/N) sniffles from my lap, head resting on my shoulder.
“Yeah.” I manage to say. “But a lot better. You’re gonna be happy forever.” I say quietly.
The doctors couldn’t do anything zaidi for her. They told me to take her home, she’d be zaidi comfortable that way.
“I’m gonna miss you.” She whispers.
“Not as much as I’m going to miss you,” I say, hand brushing through her hair.
We were sitting on the back porch, just as the sun was setting.
“I’ll wait for you, wewe know.” She says, managing to smile.
I smile back down at her. “I know. It’s gonna be one hell of a party up there.”
“We can watch sunsets across the world,” she says.
“Yeah.” I say.
She starts to doze off.
“Wait!” I say loudly. Her eyes flash open. “I upendo wewe so much. wewe have no idea how much I’m going to miss you.” I hold her tighter. “I’m going to be fine though. I promise. And I can’t wait to see you. I know you’re good hands… And I just upendo wewe (Y/N).” The silent tears just flow.
She pulls me in for one last passionate kiss.
“I upendo wewe too.” She whispers.
We sit for a few minutes. She dozes off, this time I don’t say anything.
This is the last time I’d hold her with her moyo beating.

His tongue ran down your stomach. It sent chills up your back. It felt amazing.
His tongue went back up to your lips as he started to unclasp your bra. He got it off, and threw it across the room.
But instead of it hitting the floor with a thud…
“Not on my couch.” Darry says, bra in hand

“Will wewe please tell me why?” wewe were sitting on the bathroom floor with him. wewe were still shaking from the silent sobs that racked your body.
“Baby look at me.” He whispers.
Your eyes meet his, and wewe loose it. wewe put your head into your hands and sob.
“Hey, hujambo everything’s fine. Shh babe, it’s ok. (Y/N) I promise,” he says as he picks wewe up an places wewe in his lap.
He rocks wewe back and forth for a few minutes, saying nothing. He looks down at your arm.
“You’re beautiful, wewe know that?” He mutters into your hair.
“Yeah?” He says, looking over at you.
“I found this in the attic.” wewe say, tossing it over to him.
It was his baby blanket, a dark blue color.
He looks at it wide eyed, just taking in the memories.
“What about this?” He asks, still looking at the blanket.
“Well I thought our baby would like it.”
“Planning ahead huh?” He grins.
“Only 8 eight months ahead.” wewe smile.
He looks up at wewe in surprise.
“You’re pregnant?” He asks, standing up from the kitanda to face you.
wewe just smile.
He scoops wewe up into a giant hug.
How were wewe going to tell him wewe got laid off?
Y’all needed money… wewe had just bought a house, and money was short.
So of course wewe had to lose your job.
wewe walking into your house, and flop onto the couch. wewe were pretty much done with all the stress.
Darry walked out of the bathroom, towel around his waist.
“What’s up babe?” He said, chuckling at the sight of wewe sprawled on the couch.
“I got laid off.” wewe mumble.
He’s silent for a second, taking this in. “I’ll pick up another shift.” He says.
“No, no.. wewe don’t have to…” wewe start.
“No.. I’d make zaidi money than wewe would. It’s gonna be fine I promise.”
wewe turn around to see your boyfriend Steve grinning wildly, another snowball in hand.
“It’s so on,” wewe laugh, as wewe lean down to scoop the snow.
wewe are hit with another snowball, right in the shoulder. wewe moto back, hitting him in the face.
Instead of picking up snow to make another snowball, he sprints towards you.
And tackles wewe into the snow.
“Oww Steve!” wewe laughed.
“It was needed.” He joked back.
wewe were lying on your backs in the snow, looking up at the stars.
wewe start to shiver.
He looks over at you. “Babe, are wewe cold?”
“Yeah.” wewe nod your head, teeth chattering.
He scoots closer to you, and wraps his arms around you. “Warmer?”
“Yeah,” wewe smile.
He picks up the naked two mwaka old and plops him into the bath. “There. Your in. Stay in.”
wewe were holding baby Stephanie, who would not stop crying. Why did wewe and Dally even agree to watch Johnny’s kids? This wasn’t a great experience.
“Hey, (Y/N), look at this,” Dally grins.
wewe look in the bathroom to see Josh, sitting in the tub, his hair greased back, smiling like a maniac.
wewe can’t help but burst out laughing, only making the baby cry more.
“Stephie, shut the hell up!” Josh says from the tub.
“Josh!” wewe scold. wewe glare at Dally.
“It wasn’t me!” Dally says.
“Yeah right.” wewe say, rolling your eyes.
“In my opinion, we are the greatest babysitters ever.” Dally said, smiling.
