“I know there’s a connection!” Liz exclaimed. “I know how to do my job. I don’t need some vampire to tell me that”
Caroline looked away, avoiding her mother’s stare.
“Caroline, I’m sorry” Liz alisema soft. “I didn’t mean…”
“Yes, wewe did!” Caroline alisema firm. She turned her back on her mother. “You know, I just wanted to help you. I just wanted some distraction”
“I know, honey” Liz said. She lay her hand on Caroline’s shoulder, but she pushed it away.
“I guess I should go back to Elena” she alisema bitter. “At least she appreciates my help” And that being alisema she raced away.

“Trouble, sheriff?” Stefan asked. He had heard mother and daughter argue and wanted to offer his help.
“Nothing I can’t handle without your help, Stefan” Liz alisema annoyed. Why did everyone assume she needed help from Wanyonya damu each time things didn’t flow the way they should?
“What about him?” Stefan nodded at the corpse. Liz sighed. He was going to find out anyway. “Gabe Lindy”
“How do wewe tell?” Stefan asked. There was absolutely no way anyone could recognize him.
“I received an anonymous tip” Liz replied. “From a young woman. It’s not the first time she called. She seems to know a lot about missing corpses”
“And wewe have no idea who this woman is? She could be the killer” Stefan pointed out. Liz cast him an angry look. “But wewe have thought of that, of course…Would wewe mind if I take the body with me?”
“Why would I let wewe do that?” Liz asked confused.
“Because if wewe don’t I’m going to have to hurt you” Stefan explained sad. Liz grabbed for her gun, but Stefan was quicker. He pushed her arm aside and knocked her down. Then he grabbed Gabe’s corps and rushed away with it.
