I don't see why people should be mad at Matt. Caroline was dating him and held that info from him. How could you date someone, knowing how his sister died. I like Caroline, even more so than Matt, but she deceived him, badly. Matt's pissed and I don't blame him and even after everything he knows, he still came to try and save her. A relationship can not be built on dishonesty.

I'm mad but at the end of the day most of us would act like that. He doesn't have a clue as to whether vampires can be trusted, and he's got Sheriff Forbes feeding him bull about them so he's obviously going to be confused.
