… I opened my eyes a crack,expecting muziki to be playing... but there wasn’t any. Maybe it was too early? au maybe I slept in. Then I heard a low laugh. ‘’VETO! WAKEY WAKEY!’’ I opened my eyes quickly to find Danny at the side of my kitanda with his arms behind his back. ‘’D-danny? what are you..doing?’’ I mumbled, getting up and hitting my head of the juu bunk. ‘’Well, Its Valentines Day... Sooo.. I got wewe this!’’ he held out his arms. There was a red envelop and a small sparkly pink bag. I looked up at him and opened the card. ‘’To the best brother ever...’’ I read out loud. I opened the card and Danny smiled. ‘’Too cute.’’ I chuckled. ‘’I didn’t get wewe anything though... I spend all my money--’’ ‘’Thats okay’’ he smiled while handing me the bag. I took it and opened it. It was a small white kubeba inside a moyo filled mug. It was really soft, but the mug was kinda girly...Ok, that thought made me laugh a little. A little girly, says the guy that owns zaidi nail polish and pink shirts than most girls in his class.

Danny pushed me out into the jikoni then pointed towards a small amount of cash. ‘’You have a girlfriend, do wewe not?’’ he grinned, so I slowly nodded.‘’You did say wewe spent all your money, did wewe not?’’ I’m not sure where he was going with this, so I just nodded. ‘’Buy her something if wewe actually--’’ I just pushed him out of the way and took the money. I didn’t even think about buying Valencia something. I’m so forgetful sometimes, I had at least 20 bucks to buy her something, but when me and Jake went to the mall and I ended up buying him flowers and other junk, taka for Jinx. I stared at the money. ‘’I don’t know what she would want...’’ I mumbled ‘’Well, wewe have until 7pm to get her something.’’ He replied with a smirk ‘’Why only 7? Do the stores close today au something? I didn’t even know they would be open...’’ ‘’I’m pretty sure they’re open if I gotta go to work at one in a few, but we’re having a party--’’ ‘’HOLD UP, A PARTY?’’ that made him laugh. ‘’Yeah, a party! I took the liberty to invite Valencia, Jinx, Jake, Gabe, Luke , Bradley, Cassie--’’ ‘’... those are all my friends...’’ He coughed into his hand and continued, ignoring me. ‘’Blake, Nicole, Eddie and Ronnie... and they’ve also invited people... I think Eddie alisema something about a Leigh-ann...’’ ‘’Lana....probably.... so... this is gonna be a big party... full of MY friends...and their friends...’’ he nodded and laughed. ‘’I’m inviting my Marafiki too!’’ ‘’You have friends? what Marafiki do wewe have?’’ He punched me in the stomach and put his koti, jacket on. I groaned and stuck my tongue out at him when he looked away. ‘’Its at the ..you know...that...hall place...’’ He turned back and glared at me. ‘’and don’t wewe dare stick your tongue out after I bought wewe that stuff.’’ Danny put on his shoes and left.


That afternoon, I spend an saa au so on Google, looking up last dakika Valentines siku gifts, and trust me, those are NOT cheap. I eventually got off the computer and actually went shopping. Most of the things were stupid and ….no, they were just stupid. Who the hell is gonna spend 50 bucks on a moyo shaped pillow. A tiny moyo shaped pillow. After hours of looking around. I finally found something- decent. I bought it anyways (you’ll find out what it is later on, I’m not gonna spoil it) and went back nyumbani to get ready.


Eddies POV

‘’Hurry up Eddie! I want to get some dye before the party!’’ Luke yelled from down the stairs. ‘’Hair dye? Why? You’re hair looks fine!’’ I yelled back. ‘’No! The pink is like... all gone, I want it to be pinker--’’ ‘’To impress Gabe?’’ He never did reply. But I could hear mom laughed from the dining room. ‘’So cute.’’ I alisema while trying to pick out a tie. ‘’party party party party..’’ I mumbled over and over again. Then I finally found a nice tie-- it was white with little pink hearts on it. ‘’Good enough, goes with my shirt.’’ I went to over to the bathroom buttoning up my shirt, trying to keep hold of the tie. I looked into the mirror while I put my tie on then I heard Luke coming up the stairs. He stood in the mirror beside me. ‘’Look at this mess’’ He pointed towards his hair. It was all over the place, with its pale blue and pink-ness. ‘’ That does look pretty bad.’’ I grinned and Luke frowned, took a brush and walked back downstairs.

‘’Party party party.’’ I walked back over to my room to pick out some pants. It was all quiet, au so I thought it was, but then I realized I was chanting Lana’s name. ‘’will be at the party party party.’’ I quietly mumbled. ‘’you don’t like her do you? No, of course not, she's just cool, thats all. No dude, wewe seem to like her. Well, I don’t. wewe sure? Yes, I’m sure, we’re just Marafiki and that’s all it ever will be.’’ I turned around to find Luke holding his bright pink phone and laughing. ‘’You retard!’’ ‘’GET OUT OF MY ROOM!’’ I yelled while trying to push him out. That made him laugh even more. He just tapped me on the shoulder and I nearly fell over. ‘’...get out’’ I pointed towards the door, holding my head in shame. He gave me a funny looked as he left but quickly continued laughing... Yes I talk to myself, I really shouldn’t, au one of these days Luke will catch me giving myself some sort of advice and post it all over Youtube.



Jake's POV

I could hear my parents cursing at each other about not buying the right gifts when Daniel knocked on my window and gave my a folded piece of paper. I opened it up... it alisema something about a party at the dance hall at 7 and asking if I was gonna go. So I stood on a bucket so Daniel could see me and I gave thumbs up. He smiled and ran off. I quickly closed my window before either of my parents could hear … something and come down to my room. I would be dead if I got caught even near my window--thats probably legit too. I got changed, grabbed a plastic bag to put Jinx’s gifts in and went outside,before dad could give me a gift. Probably a slap,beating au I get my door taken off again.


I went down to Ryans house to actually get ready. When I got there, Ryan gave me a big hug and a box of chocolate. ‘’Hide them under your mto for a snack. Just be careful with them’’ He patted me on the head. Merrigan gave my a card and so did Leah. Everyone is so nice in Ryans family, kinda sad that I’m not an official part of it anymore, but they still treat me like I am. I told Ryan he could go to the party too, but he had other plans.... I honestly don’t want to know what those plans are. Leah is too busy with...nothing and Merrigan was gonna spend the siku with Julia and friends. Leah told me she would walk me down around 6:40pm so I wouldn’t have to worry about getting caught kwa either Marcus au my parents. ...Then it hit me, some of my Marafiki are actually Marafiki with Marcus. Maybe he was going to be at the party.

‘’Thanks Leah!’’ I alisema while walking over to the door, ‘’No problem’’ she smiled and started walking back to her house. I reached out for the door when Daniel opened it. ‘’Oh! Jakes here!’’ I saw Veto in the back of the room, surrounded kwa a pile of red, white and pink balloons. He let go of the balloon he was in the middle of blowing up and waved. The balloon went all over the room and Veto laughed. ‘’Hey buddy.’’ He alisema while pushing balloons out of the way and patting on the empty spot. ‘’Have a sit, come help me blow up balloons!’’ He took a white balloon out of the bag and held it out for me. I ran over and started blowing it up. ‘’You’re early!’’ I looked over at him and nodded. He just smiled and ran over to pick up the balloon he had earlier.


Daniel came back inside with a girl behind him ‘’HI CASSIE’’ Veto yelled while putting his arms up in the air. ‘’Hi Veto.’’ ‘’CASSIE,JAKE! JAKE CASSIE!’’ He ran back over and sat beside me. ‘’Help us, we need help.’’ He smirked. She laughed and picked up a pink balloon. ‘’Jeez, where are my friends?’’ Daniel laughed. ‘’I KNEW wewe had no friends.’’ Veto grinned. ‘’Haha, Yeah.’’ Daniel went back outside. ‘’WE NEED SOME MUSIC!’’ Veto got back up and turned on the stereo. ‘’Nicki Minaj okay?’’ ‘’I’m not--’’ He cut me off ‘’Too bad thats like... all I got’’ He laughed and put one of her songs on. ‘’HE alisema HE CAME FROM JAMAICA, HE OWNED A COUPLE ACRES. I got wewe flowers.’’ Eddie smiled. ‘’...Are wewe for real?’’ ‘’Yes, yes I am’’ Eddie ran outside and came back with a very small bouquet of flowers. ‘’You retard!’’ I laughed. ‘’But wewe know I hate flowers right?’’ ‘’AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH. wewe do?’’ ‘’Yes....’’ ‘’Damn. I guess I have to just give them to someone else.’’ Just as he alisema that, Bradley came in. ‘’BRAD. I GOT wewe FLOWERS!’’ Bradley just stopped and looked at Eddie. He lifted up the bouquet and smiled. ‘’No thanks...’’ Bradley alisema while walking towards Cassie. Eddie sighed. ‘’UGGHH.... Who wants flowers?!’’ Everyone quickly looked away from Eddie. ‘’FA-Q’’ He yelled as he kicked a balloon into the air


Lukes POV

I went back over to my kanzu, koti and took out a small box. ‘’Gabeeyyy...’’ Gabe quickly looked over at me. ‘’I got wewe a presseeennnnttt!’’ Gabe smiled and walked over to me. Just as Valencia walked into the room, I alisema ‘’Well no one cares about Valencia!’’ ‘’’Dude!’’ Veto yelled and ran over to Valencia. ‘’So wait, if wewe weren’t dating her, would wewe kiss me then?!’’ I yelled from across the room. Luke shook his head in shame at me, so I simply gave him the finger and smiled. ‘’People care about wewe Valencia...’’ I quietly said. But she didn’t hear me, au she was ignoring me.

I could slightly hear everything Veto said. ‘’He didn’t mean that.’’ ‘’HE DIDNT!’’ I yelled. Hi Lana...’’ ‘’WELCOME TO THE PARTY OF PEOPLE WITH VALENTINES...oh and Eddies here too!’’ Veto grinned. I noticed ...a blonde haired girl sitting in the corner alone. ‘’ HI GIRL I DON’T KNOW!” She didn’t look up au even move. “Thats Ronnie!’’ Blake yelled. “Hi Ronnie! What's wrong?” She very slowly looked up at me and got up and left. “Bitch maaaaaaad’’ I laughed. “WHAT KINDA PARTY IS THIS?!” Lana yelled. “A SHITTY ONE!” I yelled back. “EVERYONES LIKE. LET ME upendo YOU. AND I’M JUST HERE LIKE. Why’d wewe invite me” Veto coughed into his hand and started chanting ‘Leddie’ ...whatever that is. Lana ran over to the stereo and turned it up. “PARTY!’’ “WOOHOO!” That made Cassie laugh. “What?” “...Thats something... bad.. for sims...” “Woohoo?” Veto started to laugh too. “Yeah, its sim sex.” “Ohhhhhhmygosh. Vetos POV

kwa the end of the night, we all ended up dancing, singing, popping balloons and pretty much all of us had a Valentine. Just …Eddie and Lana didn’t... I still think Eddie should have asked her to be his...but whatever. Leddie... Get it? Yeah... Anyways. Danny did end up leaving us, I’m guessing because his Marafiki didn’t onyesha up and he didn’t want to be stuck with a bunch of teens. We had a few contests, Lana and Eddie judged... Cutest couple went to Jinx and Jake, Didn’t-See-That-Happening went to Blake and Nicole, Best gift giver went to Cassie and Valencia(Oh yeah, I didn’t say what I gave Val. I got her a red bracelet that says her name on it and... before V-day I gave her a orodha of the juu 9 reasons why I upendo her..) and then Blake and I judged for Who-Should-Happen and that went to Lana and Eddie, but I don’t think anyone else agreed.....Jake and Jinx were quiet the whole time, but I could tell they did have fun. Overall, it was a great Valentines Day... and I’m glad I spend it with my friends
