Yes, I believe she really did upendo him. If she didn't she would have picked Jacob in New Moon au Eclipse. She had a choice and she picked Edward, not anyone else, so ultimately she loved Edward. When she was pregnant she still loved Edward, but she also formed a upendo just as big for Nessie. Not to mention the book was centered around Nessie, and not just Edward so that also made an impact, and probably resulting wewe to doubt that she loved Edward. But she always did and always will :)

Just so wewe know, she got pregnant in Breaking Dawn which was book number four! :) LOL
