Do wewe believe that Taylor Lautner was a good choice as Jacob?

His looks don't matter... but WOW I was soooo pleased kwa his uigizaji as Jacob! I think he nailed him personality wise.

I think in the real world he is a jerk. But as Jacob he's the best. ;D

Yes. His transformation for young man to mbwa mwitu buff was amazing and I am sure he worked very hard to make that transition.

All in all, yes. I do believe Taylor fits Jacob's person. However, in my opinion, he doesn't really have the uigizaji chops. He just doesn't have that natural uigizaji ability and wewe can sense that on screen. Whenever he says his lines, they either come off overly dramatic au they just don't flow together.

Do I believe another actor could have played Jacob better? Yeah. Someone who looks like Jacob, definitely. However, I have to say that Jacob does look the part, however, doesn't always acts the part. He can play the fun kid that Jacob was at the beginning of the series, but Taylor can't play the werewolf Jacob. He can't play Jacob's roughness and his arrogance. His attempts just look awkward.

However, actors can improve. He has a couple of sinema lined up, so hopefully he improved. He's shooting for blockbuster roles, not necessarily those with a strong script, so we'll see. We'll see.

No, I don't like him. I mean he's cute and he has the look except for the height. His height was a big disappointment to me. He was supposed to be taller than Edward but wewe know he's shorter. But Rob is really tall so finding someone taller than him would be hard. I can understand that. wewe might say his height is a small detail but Jacob's height was a distinctive feature of his. I say he could be a little less cute than Tay but taller and I'm not really impressed with Taylor's body transformation because any actor could do it if they worked hard.
About his acting, I agree, he's not a strong actor. His uigizaji just doesn't seem natural to me. He's not very talented but I can't really fully blame him for my disappointment for the Jacob in the film because the scripts took so much away from Jacob, like his sense of humour. For that, I'm kinda angry with Melissa Rosenberg.
Then again, I agree with mandapanda, maybe he'll improve his uigizaji in time.

Okay I admit, he isn't the sexiest guy out there (nobody cares about my opinion on that issue since it's not Twilight related) but he is cute, and honestly how many actors do wewe know that could easily pull off looking like a full blooded native american?
