I could hear the TV on and I could smell the coffee. I wasn’t sure if I was dreaming au if I was just hallucinating over the fact that the man that has been stalking me, for what seems like my whole life, was in my apartment.
I must be dreaming, my subconscious must have heard the TV on and brought that thought into my dream along with the coffee I made yesterday morning it must still be stuck in the air and did the same to my dream.
I stretched my muscles, I was really stiff. It must have been because I got a lot of exercise yesterday at the beach. I hadn’t ran in weeks au done any thing athletic in weeks so my muscles are going to be stiff. I sat up on the kitanda and I felt a wave of dizziness wash over me. I waited for it to be gone and stood up. I was still half asleep and I tripped over my little coffee meza, jedwali but I didn’t hit the ground.
I could feel the cold wrapping around me. I must have put on my shorts and undershirt PJ’s last night even though it was cold in my apartment but I was half asleep so I probably wasn’t paying any attention to that. But I realized that the cold wasn’t on my bare skin it was seeping threw my undershirt. It was only a small part on my stomach but my back was now covered in the coldness. I was freezing I was so caught up in my thoughts that I hadn’t realized my teeth were chattering.
I snapped my eyes open and jumped away from the coldness. I was now facing a face I didn’t know. I wasn’t breathing. He was the guy that was stalking me in life and dreams. Wait was I dreaming last night au did that really happen.
I looked at him zaidi carefully this time and he was gorgeous to the eye but I could tell his soul wasn’t as gorgeous. He gave me a smile that looked devilish but yet hypnotizing, like it was calling me to come towards him. I shook my head like I was going to shake it out. I looked back up at him and he was moving closer slowly. I stepped back every step he took mbele towards me. I hadn’t realized how close I was to my two jikoni steps and I tripped over them and fell on my butt.
I looked up and he was inches away from my face now. I couldn’t help but stare at him. I started right into his eyes. They were beautiful. Light blue like the sky on a cloudless summer day. Not like a humans blue eyes, they usually have a tint of gray in them his was grayness they were just blue nothing ells.
“What are wewe know scared of me after every thing I told wewe every thing wewe told me?” has he talked my mined world around in little circles. His breathe splashed against my face, like when wewe eat a hard peppermint Candy and breathe in the cold winter air, I was like that cold but mint krisimasi mint. I was no longer focusing on the situation that was happening I was dazed.
“Annabella?” Once again his breathe took my mine some where ells. I tried hard to focused but I couldn’t it was so sweet. I could then realized the cold I was feeling was his skin. Even though he wasn’t touching me now I could feel the cold radiating off his skin and pushing against mine.
“W-who. A-are. Y-you.” I shuddered trying to think against his sweet smell, taking one word at a time. “You don’t remember me? I’m Jason, the guy wewe spent all last night talking to.” He was still inches away from my face so every time I stated to come back he would talk and I’d go back to my little disappearing state. “Come on wewe don’t remember me?” he kept asking me but I could talk I was lost. “What can I say to make wewe snap out of it? Well I could… ya but that would hurt.” He started talking to him self. “Do wewe remember last night wewe told me about your friend that got stabbed in the back and died Mike.” I snapped at the name. My head went up and smacked right into his.
I’ve been head butted before but this really hurt I would have been better off smacking my head against a bolder. “Oooooch!” I screamed. But he covered my mouth with his hand. I yanked it away the cold was hard to bare, I couldn’t stand the cold that was one of the reasons I was thrilled to songesha to LA.
I finally looked at him and the fear finally jolted in my head. I scrambled to get up once I did I headed for the door. I got it open all of three inches and he slammed it shut with his fist, know effort was put into it. “Please don’t do this again. We already went over everything last night.” He talked now with his whole body in front of the door. “Off course wewe were half asleep.” He wasn’t talking to me now but he was still staring at me.
I could feel my moyo rate picking up. I didn’t know what to do. “Wait how did wewe get over to the door so fast?” I asked backing away slowly. “What? Like this?” and he was know right in front of me holding me with his arms wrapped around my waist. I flinched at the coldness wrapping around my body. But yet with some complete stranger in my apartment I still felt salama with him.
He was smiling at me handsome but beautiful at the same time. I couldn’t believe that this gorgeous guy was interested in me. Why the hell wasn’t I scared this guy was practically stalking me, no he was. But it just didn’t faze me at all. I smiled back but I wasn’t sure if that’s what I should have been doing au if I should have been screaming. But I felt some type of trust between us.
“Okay please stop trying to run away from me just trust me wewe know me. You’ve none me since wewe were born.” My smile faded away and he let me go and I realized that I wasn’t standing on my own he was holding me up. He bent down to look me in the eyes and lifted my head up so I could look back at him. “You were asleep for a while do wewe want something to eat?” I nodded, I didn’t really look at him I just looked back at the ground. I didn’t want to songesha but he wouldn’t let me have it my way. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to one of the stools and pick me up to sit on it.
“How do wewe do that?” He turned around and looked at me with confused eyes. I looked at my hands and then talked. “Lift me up with no effort at all.” I started up at him to see his expression, but he looked like he was waiting for more. “And how do wewe get to me so fast? It took me a couple sekunde to get up and run to the door. kwa the time I was at the door wewe were just getting up and then wewe were right in front of me and just then when I asked wewe how wewe did it and all wewe did was do it again. I don’t want to see how wewe do it I want to know how wewe do it.” he did look at me for awhile then he turned around and jumped onto the counter.
“You really want how I do it?” he half smiled at me like wewe would picture the devil doing au when someone was thinking something evil. I was zaidi mused the scared au thrilled I just wanted to know how he did it. “Ya, I asked didn’t I?” I responded jokingly but with some sarcasm mixed in.
He laughed silently to himself and smiled at me. “I guess your right.” He hopped of the counter and turned his back on me and finished doing what he was doing. I just smiled to myself before taking a sip of my coffee. I turned around to get off of the kinyesi and when I looked up he was standing right in front of me. “Yes?” I alisema raising both of my eyebrows.
“Do wewe really want to know because if wewe do I can onyesha you... tonight.” He looked serious now. I felt like if I alisema yes I was going to be getting myself into a big mess and that wouldn’t be so good with my job starting Monday. Which reminds me I have to get that ready I only have one zaidi siku to. “Yes I do want to know.” He swallowed hard and was in rummaging threw the fridge. “Why if I know will I be getting into something I shouldn’t be?” I asked putting my cup of coffee down and walking over to him. “In a way… yes.” He didn’t look at me when he talked. “Oh okay.” I alisema with no care in my voice.
I hopped off the counter and was about to walk to the bathroom when he grabbed my arm. “Look what I’m going to tell wewe tonight might change the rest of your life if wewe and I stay in contact, okay? So just think about that today and if wewe don’t want to know then tell me before eight tonight, okay?” I listened intently to his voice.
His voice reminded me of a siren wewe know when wewe hear in the sinema the mermaids imba how amazing it sounds it just draws wewe in, I never really realized it before I liked it I could get use to waking up with this every morning.
But what about what he alisema it could change my life if I stay in contact with him. Was I really ready to risk my hole life and change it just for this one stranger. “Yes, I understand and I don’t think my decision will change.” He nodded his head and let go of my arm. “Sorry I forget sometimes how cold my touch it.” I was confused at what he alisema but I just nodded like I understood and walked to the bathroom.
“Annabella don’t take to long breakfast is almost ready.” “Okay!” I shouted from kwa bedroom bathroom. I was taking my hair out of the bun it was in, then I stopped frozen looking at my self in the mirror. How did he know my name? I realized he alisema my name before but I guess I was in to much shock to catch that. “Jason?” I shouted still frozen were I stood. “Ya?” I could barley breathe, I felt like something was stuck in the middle of my throat trying to strangle me to death. “How do wewe know my name I don’t remember telling wewe it?” I don’t know how many zaidi surprises I could take from him. “Like I alisema I’ll tell wewe every thing tonight.” Well until tonight.
I breathed and finished what I was doing and jumped into the shower. I stopped thinking about every thing and just thought about things that didn’t relate to Jason. Like my work and what I needed and Ritchie I should probably call him and tell him that I have things I needed to get done today. Oh and I really need to call Kate.
I took about a fifteen dakika shower, the thinking slowed me down. I was in the middle of putting up my hair when I heard a light knock on the door. “Yes?” Breakfast is ready. “Okay I’ll be right out give me to seconds. I finished what I was doing and walked out of the bathroom.
As I threw my dirty clothes in my hamper and looked up and the clock it was past ten and Jason made breakfast?
I walked out to the jikoni and saw a small meal for one. One? Why one? “I know I made breakfast for wewe at one but it’s my best meal I can make.” I was a little skeptical. “What your not going to eat?” he just shook his head. “Let me guess you’ll tell me about that tonight to?” He pressed his lips together and answered me softly. “Only if wewe want to know.” I half smiled at him and dug into my food.
“Do wewe want to do something to siku au do wewe have other plains? Because I saw wewe with Ritchie and his friends.” I held my finger up motioning to him to hold on. I swallowed what I had in my mouth. “No I have know plains with them today yesterday was just a coincident he caught me at a stressed out time and he invited me to go the beach, pwani with them and calm down.” I was surprised at how much I was able to tell him au explain to him when he asked a simple yes au now question. “Wait wewe know them?” he went to speak but closed his mouth to rethink about what he was going to say to answer my question. “Well I know almost every one’s name but I don’t really know them.” I nodded once slowly “Is that like me wewe know my name but wewe don’t really know me?” “No there’s zaidi to how I know your name. Finish eating and I want to take wewe some where. Kay?” I nodded once and stuffed some zaidi of my omelet into my mouth.
I was throwing the last peace of my brunch into my mouth and my pare of green Converse were thrown on juu of the island counter. It scared me that I almost choked on what was in my mouth. “Put these on.” I made copied what he alisema very quietly. “Just do it don’t be mean.” I stopped and to look at him but I guess I shouldn’t be that surprised kwa it. I slipped them on as he waited kwa the open door. He shut us as we left my undecorated apartment.
“Your going to upendo this place.” He alisema taking my hand I wanted to let go because of the coldness but his skin was so soft I didn’t.
When I was around him I couldn’t make up my mind it was yes then no, I was never able to say something and really stick to it.
I was starting to shiver and I knew he knew it but I thought up a good excuse for him not to let go just incase he tries to.
As we started down the hall he loosed his grip on my hand but I tightened it. “Annabella your shivering wewe can let go of my hand.” I looked at him smiling. “Ya I know but I know it’s really hot out side and there’s know clouds out side so it’s going to be really, really hot but if I’m touching wewe I wont have to deal with that.” he smiled back down to me. “By the way if wewe want wewe can call me Anna au Bella your choice.” I thought about it for a couple of seconds. “I’ll call wewe Anna, manly because my sister’s name is Bella.”
He stopped were we were walking and turned his head around, I was a lot slower. We stood there and then Ritchie turned the corner. I looked back at Jason but was I really suppose to be surprised? No.
“Annabella, there wewe are.” He stopped to catch his breathe before moving on. “I thought wewe wanted to go Danies for lunch with us?” I told my self to call him but I forgot like I do every thing. “Oh that was today I thought the lunch was tomorrow. I’m sorry can we reschedules?” He looked at me and then at Jason and then back at me. “Oh this is one of my friends. Jason – Ritchie, Ritchie – Jason.” I introduced them but they didn’t really shake hands they just nodded at each other.
“I heard that Anna was moving to California so I came visit her.” Jason alisema in a normal voice. But Ritchie didn’t really look convinced. “Has she told her about that stalker?” Jason looked at me like he was asking me why I told him. I just looked at the ground. “No.” he alisema threw his teeth. He looked back at me. “Your going to have to tell me about him.” I looked back up at him and nodded and then looked at Ritchie, I knew that he knew there was something ells going on but wasn’t so sure. “Ya so I have to meet Dylan, JJ, Clair and Lizzie at Danies.” He alisema walking past us waving bye. He stopped and turned around to face us. “And you” he alisema pointing at Jason. “Take good care of her. Okay?” he smiled at me and looked back at Jason. “Don’t worry I will.” He alisema smiling at Ritchie.
We waved bye and he ran around the corner and was gone. Jason looked at me and laughed. “Well wewe have made some… interesting friends, but they watch out for you, that’s a good thing.” I laughed silently. “Ya, come on let go.”
